Love
It was around half a month before Jimin could be discharged from the hospital. During that period, Yoongi took care of me and Jimin all the time, giving me accommodation when I wasn't at the hospital and even buying me the necessities I needed. I used to be a bit scared of Yoongi, but now I had grown to like Yoongi a lot as I got to know him a great deal better.
I had kept in touch with Jungkook, and even occasionally talked to Taehyung, who was back in Busan, on the phone. When he heard that Kim Namjoon was dead he was actually sad since even though he was not on Bludhood's side anymore, he had known Namjoon for quite a while. Luckily, he was not angry at me for choosing to be on Yoongi's side when it came down to it.
"I feel like I haven't properly moved for years." Jimin said as he stretched his limps out standing next to the hospital bed he had been in for so long.
I was packing his things up for him. I stuffed another thing into the bag that Yoongi provided. "Have you lost your skills in killing yet?"
"Never that, baby."
I huffed, "I guess we will see when you get back to your work."
I finished packing and we walked hand in hand down to the front desk of the hospital, where Yoongi was just sorting out the final few bits and bobs for this discharging.
As I approached him I heard the last bit of his conversation with the person at the desks
"-will be fifty million won in total."
Damn that was half the bounty offered for me when I was wanted as the Busan Killer.
"Yes, I will pay for it all. Here." Yoongi handed a black card to the receptionist and she quickly ran it through something, then gave something for Yoongi to sign.
When everything was done we exited the hospital together. Yoongi's chauffeur was waiting outside for us. I entered the backseats with Jimin and Yoongi took the front seat.
"Missed Busan?" Yoongi asked us.
"I did." I answered honestly.
"I want to get back to work immediately when we arrive, hyung," Jimin said.
Yoongi chuckled, "You are impatient, aren't you? You can if you want, but I'm not sure if you are as polished as you were before. I will allow you to continue with the executive work once we get back, but on the assassinations side, you will start off with easier ones."
"Thank you, Yoongi-hyung," Jimin said, "I won't disappoint you."
"I know you won't."
The car journey was peaceful. It felt so great to have Jimin beside me once again. I didn't feel like anything was missing anymore.
We arrived back in the long-missed Busan after a few hours of car journey. They first dropped us off at our apartment. Yoongi put down the car window to speak to us as we got off the car.
"Jimin you can have today off," Yoongi said, "but I will be expecting you at work tomorrow."
Jimin nodded. "Hyung, thank you for taking care of me and Yerin."
Yoongi smiled, "It's what you deserve. And Yerin, take care of Jimin."
"I will," I nodded with a smile.
We went back up the apartment after Yoongi left. Nostalgia washed over me after coming to somewhere that I hadn't been for so long. Everything looked just as we had left it. The grey sofas that stood adjacent to each other; Jimin's study that contained his musical equipments; the bedroom where we spent so much time together; nothing was changed.
I turned on the TV to watch the news as Jimin unpacked his things in the bedroom. After a few irrelevant reports, it arrived at the one I wanted to watch and I turned up the volume.
"Nam Seoyun has been trialled and found guilty of twenty-four cases of murder." The male news anchor said. "She has been given a life sentence with no probation, and she will be transferred tomorrow to start serving her sentence."
"Jimin, did you hear that?" I shouted towards the bedroom.
He walked out of it. "Yes."
"There is no danger for you, for us, anymore," I said.
He nodded and plopped down next to me on the sofa. He put one of his arms around my shoulder and I shuffled to leaned on his.
"Everything is going so well right now, it feels unnatural." I said. "It feels like we haven't properly had a break for...normal couple time since we got tangled up in all the FIRE-Bludhood mess.
"Well, our relationship has never been normal."
"True. Which relationship starts of as one person stalking the other?"
He chuckled, "And who is stupid enough to start a relationship with a serial killer in the first place?"
I looked at him with a pout. "Me," I said, and leaned up to kiss him on his kissable lips.
He deepened it by putting his other hand on the back of my head and pulling us closer with both of his arms. I willingly let his toungue invade my mouth as I positioned myself better for this kiss.
Even though we had done this so many times before that I had lost count long ago, every time still felt just as amazing. Words could not describe the joy I feel when I was with him, and words could not describe the love I had for him. I knew he was the one. I only wish for this to never change and that he would never get tired of me, because I know I wouldn't be of him.
-----
That night, we lay awake in bed in each other's arms, about to go to sleep, too tired and enjoying each other's company too much to do anything else.
"Do you want to know what happened after Kim Namjoon took you with him?" Jimin asked.
"Yea, what happened?"
"I was so angry I wanted to kill your brother, but Yoongi-hyung was the one that stopped me. He told me you wouldn't want him killed since he is your brother."
"Really?" I smiled, "I am so glad I chose FIRE's side."
"Then we followed the signal the necklace emitted, and I found it in some grass in an abandoned industrial building."
"That's where the weird tunnel-behind-the-bookshelf thing Kim Namjoon had leads to."
"And I kept the necklace. I wanted you to wear it again."
"And as I promised you, I won't take it off." I said.
"Yoongi-hyung deployed all his men in Goyang to look for you and Kim Namjoon. What we did not expect was for you to be in one of FIRE's building. We went there because Yoongi knew one of those death matches was going on and he wanted to observe how that business was doing. I was so surprised when I found you in the cage."
"Yea, well, I was surprised to find myself in the cage too." I said with a laugh.
"And when I saw that the whole room was just watching you getting hurt, I wanted to kill them all."
"But Jimin, there were like fifty people in the audience.
"I would happily kill them all just for you."
I guess I should be happy for that? "Would you? What about if it were a hundred innocent children?"
"I don't care who they are, if I have to kill them to keep you safe, I will do it."
That was strangely sweet, in a twisted way. But our relationship was twisted anyway.
"What about if it was Yoongi.. actually nevermind, I won't make you choose between us." I said. "I mean... I've never killed anyone before and I don't want to. But if it meant saving your life...then I would do it too."
His chest moved as he chuckled. He muttered, "God I love you." And placed small kissed on my forehead.
A grin of pure joy was on my face as I replied, "You know I love you too.
