Epilogue pt.2: Ceremony

The bell to Jimin and my apartment rang. Jimin went to open the door, revealing the Boss of FIRE.

"I have not been here for years," Yoongi said as he entered. That reminded me of something...oh right, that was what Jungkook said when he first visited too.

"Well," I stood up with a paper bag of what I need, "I better get going then."

"There is only one bed here," Jimin said to Yoongi, "I will sleep on the sofa tonight."

Yoongi smiled. "No, it's alright. We can sleep on the same bed tonight."

I narrowed my eyes and looked between them as if suspecting more going on. I said in a warning voice as a joke, "You two, don't mess things up the night before the wedding."

"We'll try not to," Yoongi nodded while scrunching up his nose. Jimin only smirked.

I gave them a final look before exiting the apartment and going downstairs, where the car that bought Yoongi here was waiting for me. I got in and it drove me to their mansion. Eunjung was waiting in the living room for me when I got there.

"Is Yoongi alright over there?" Eunjung asked as I went and sat on the sofa next to her.

"Yep, and they are sharing a bed," I answered.

"I hope I don't get my fiancé taken away the day before my wedding," Eunjung said as she fake cried.

I laughed. "I'm sure they will behave themselves...I think."

The bride-to-be chuckled, "I really hate how the bride and groom has to be separated the day before the wedding."

I shrugged. "It's just tradition."

-----

The wedding car Eunjung and I were in stopped in front of the location where the wedding was taking place. I sighed when I saw the horde of reporters and cameras stationed around the perimeter. Even though the wedding venue was sectioned off, a few of the guards there came and surrounded us just in case. As soon as we got out, the I could see flashes from the paparazzi's cameras.

Even though the guards tried their best to block us from their view, the fierceness of the paparazzi and reporters still frightened me a little. They shouted our names and a plethora of questions.

"Min Eunjung, how are you feeling right now?"

"Have you signed a prenup?"

"Song Yerin, how did you become close friend with Eunjung?"

"Who is that Best Man?"

We ignored all of them and walked straight ahead. We quickly entered the house next to the hall that the wedding was taking place in. Jimin called and told me that Yoongi had already arrived there a while ago.

I had the other bridesmaids receive the guests while I helped Eunjung into her Vera Wang gown. It took us a solid 20 minutes to lace it up properly. The makeup artist did a final touch up on her and the hair stylist helped putting the veil with a diamond tiara on top of her head.

"What do you think?" Eunjung asked as she turned and looked at herself in the full length mirror.

"You are the most beautiful woman I've seen," I answered. I wasn't lying the slightest bit. Even without makeup her natural beauty was comparable to that of stars. Now that she had immaculate makeup, hair, and a beautiful gown, she looked inhumanly stunning.

She looked at me through the mirror and smiled. I realised it was time for the ceremony when I saw the clock on the wall.

"Eunjung, it's about to start," I reminded her. She took a deep breath and nodded. I helped her lay her veil over her face and arranged the train behind her so she could all properly. I handed her the Gardenia bouquet and hurried inside the church where all the guests were already patiently waiting. As I walked upto take my place beside the officiant I could see many familiar faces of celebrities, Korean or international, and successful businesspeople in the sea of guests. Stood on top of the dais at the front were the officiant, the bridesmaids, and the groomsmen. The names there were no less impressive.

Beside the empty place I was going to take stood a woman called Natasha Witek. She was a Polish mercenary, one of the best, if not the best in the industry. I only met her a while ago but I could already tell that she had a big personality. Then beside her was the leader of the Korean police force, Commissioner Generally Baek. She was the one that helped us close the Busan Killer case. The remaining bridesmaid was a famous socialite and the daughter of a billionaire.

Jimin, who was the real Busan Killer and an executive of FIRE, was in the place of the best man. Jungkook, also an executive of FIRE and a top-notch assassin, was next to him. Then it stood the most skilled underground doctor Seokjin. Then, a man named Ilya Peteovski was there. He was a Russian underground weapon dealer who had dealings with the US army, and Natasha's boyfriend.

Of course, the groom himself, Min Yoongi, CEO of Blaze in the everyday world and leader of the most powerful gang in southeast Asia in the underworld, was there.

Seeing all these big names on the dais almost made me felt incompetent. No, I was my own person. I persisted through so much to be where I was right now. I deserved to be there.

I hurriedly took my place as the maid of honour. Not long after, the classic wedding march started playing.

The main character of the wedding appeared at the other end of the isle. As Eunjung gracefully ambled by herself towards Yoongi like an Angel in white, I noticed he smiled so wide his gum showed. He reached out an impatient hand for her which she took more than happily. They both turned to face the officiant.

The officiant addressed the gathering here today and the bride and groom. Then it was time to exchange vows.

"I, Min Yoongi, take you, Oh Eunjung, to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better and for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, keeping myself only unto you until we are parted by death."

"I, Oh Eunjung, take you, Min Yoongi, to be my lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better and for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, keeping myself only unto you until we are parted by death."

The officiant smiled and announced, "I now pronounce you husband and wife!"

Applause exploded as their lips met for the first time as husband and wive. Hand in hand, they walked back down the isle and exited the hall.

-----

The reception afterward was no less grand than the ceremony itself. The band of important people move to a nearby location for it. Of course, the security in between the places was not lacking down to the tiniest bit, with the Commissioner General as one of the attendees.

All the guests were in awe of the cake when it was wheeled out. Thirteen layers of the most delicious red velvet cake was covered by thick white cream, decorated with the edible version every type of white or cream colour flowers there were in the world. On top was an infinity symbol, blessing the longevity of this marriage.

After the cutting of it, I had to make a speech as the maid of honour. I rehearsed it so many times I could do it in my sleep. I was not about to make a fool of myself in front of all these famous and important people.

Finally, it was the dance. Of course, the newly weds went first. Normally the bride would then dance with her father, but since Eunjung's father wasn't here, it was the maid of honour's and best man's dance.

Jimin led me by the hand to the centre of the dance floor. I put my arms on his shoulder while he wrapped his around my waist. We started swaying to the music. He was so handsome tonight, his jet black hair styled perfectly, his expensive suit fitted him just right. I could not help but to smile brightly as I looked into Jimin's beautiful eyes. I never thought I could love someone so much.

"Yerin," Jimin said, "Do you know how special you are to me?"

"How special?" I asked.

"I myself have read about psychopaths too. And I thought I was physically incapable of love too. But I was wrong, and you are the prove."

I smiled shyly under his gaze, heart beat raising in joy. "Jimin..."

"Tonight is such a good night," he said, looking past me to Yoongi and Eunjung.

"I agree."

He turned his gaze back onto me. "You know what would make it better?"

I think I had a heart attack when he took out a small red box from his pocket and got onto one knee in front of me.

Under the gaze of everyone, Jimin revealed the ring and popped the question.

"Song Yerin, will you marry me?"
