Welcome to this mini rant about periods! You know the thing about society that pisses me off? It's the fact that women are taught to be embarrassed about their periods. Well, let me tell you, all of society that thinks women should hide their periods, IT'S FREAKING NATURAL AND WE CAN'T STOP IT! WE CAN'T RE-ABSORB OUR LINING LIKE OTHER ANIMALS CAN! GOOD GLORY! We ladies on this app have to deal with some literal draining! Whatever you call it, the nile, the red sea, Niagara falls, periods, menstrual cycles, red flag week, code red, I don't care! We shouldn't have to hide it! Sure, it's embarrassing when you have a really heavy flow and you bleed through, but you can't help it. We can't help the cramps either, and to any dudes that read my rants, you may have heard a girl say that she has really bad cramps, and now you know what she means. She means that she feels like she's being punched in the gut because of extreme pain in the organ that pushes out babies! We have to discretely take medication and/or a heating pad for cramps to school or work! It freaking sucks! All my fellow ladies, don't hide your periods! It's okay if you aren't comfortable talking about them though. I know that this can be really awkward, but it's okay to talk about it if you want to.

I'm thirteen, so this is probably best left to the older, more experienced users on wattpad, but I felt the need to vent about it. I don't like having to hide the fact that I have periods.
