"You're not a child" my mother screamed

and for once, i couldn't agree more

because

the 'boo boo's' on my wrists

aren't from falling off my bike

or even my cat,

and the tears that stream down my cheeks

are inflicted by myself.

and thats when I realized,

that being a big kid,

Isn't so fun

after all.
