Immigration. Word that causes me despair, anguish and longing.
Now I'm in Paris, missing home and my father, whom I love very much.

Paris, a formidable capital! The charm and elegance are the main points.

It was nine o'clock at night when I was combing my hair and getting ready to sing at a local bar. Lola, my dear friend, got a spot in that bar, where I'm going to start one of my dreams.

          - Lola, do you think this dress is a little vulgar?- I said, turning towards her.

         - Of course not! The color (f/c) looks great on you.- She came over and helped me with the last adjustments.

         - All right.

         - Are you ready?- He asked me calmly.

         - Yea.

         - So let's go.

There was a small stage at the end of the bar, and that's where I'm going to sing. Before long, an elegant man took the stage, holding some papers. I believe he is the presenter.

         - And now, for the first time singing in here... Y/n Y/sn!- I heard applause and whistles.

I came out from behind the curtains, and I stood in front of everyone there and met me to introduce myself.

         - Good night, I'm Y/n and I'll start right away. I hope you like it.- I smiled shyly, and continued.

The song I chose was "Lovin' You" by Minnie Riperton.

           - Lovin you, is easy because you beautiful...- As I sang, my eyes wandered around the place, and there in the corner of the bar, I saw a man with short brown hair, smiling at me.

One thing I had forgotten in Paris: Love and beauty. And that man was proof of that.

Soon after, my song was taken up with applause, whistles and praise. I got off the stage and my vision went to the place, now vacated by the handsome gentleman.

          - You were fantastic, Y/n!- Lola said, ecstatic.

          - Thank you.- I looked at her quickly, turning back to look around.

          - What are you looking for?

          - I don't know exactly.- And the door to the place swung, causing me to head toward it.

I left the bar, and I heard a whinny from where I was standing.
Determined to follow the sound, I saw the handsome gentleman, smoothing the mane of a white horse.

           - Miss Y/sn, you sang very well.- He took my hand and gave it a tender kiss.

           - Thank you, but I still don't know your name.

           - Cesar. And from what I hear, you started singing in public today. Am I right?

           - Exactly. And if I succeed on my first nigth, I'll have the chance to come one more time.

           - Then, for sure, we'll see each other more often.- He climbed onto the horse, took my hand again and gave me another kiss.- Unfortunately, I have to go now. Until later.

           - See you, Cesar.

Oh, if I could tell my dad what's happened to me so far, he'd be completely happy.
