I promised hints for the upcoming oneshots, and here they are. 2.5 is quite different from 1.5, as there were so many directions this book could go in. With 1.5 I was focused on ships, but with this one I was free to write about whatever I wanted. 

     I find the more I write about the Departed canon's universe, the more worldbuilding sessions I want to hold. It's hard to write some of this stuff into the main novels, as sometimes my excessive devotion to worldbuilding would come across as info-dumping. So, if I want to expand on minor details to make this canon feel more authentic, I've got to find a story to tell around it.

    Now, I'll be frank here. The first oneshot is about Morro. He's my advertising point for this novel, as most readers wouldn't pick it up if the other titular characters were on the cover/in the description. After all, why would I want to read a book about a character I don't know?

     For the other four, I'm going to give some hints below.

1. Only two of the four oneshots will focus on characters introduced before. 

2. Out of the four, two will be about new governments replacing old ones. 

3. All four will have character development in the main characters, but only three will have that as the main focus. 

4. If we're being technical, only one oneshot is a shipping-related one. If we're not being technical, we could say there are two shipping-related oneshots.
