Deo's P. O. V.

It's 1:48. I'm running through a forest. Not just any forest, but the forest of the lost. In this forest, player don't ever come back. Probably chickened out and lost their will to fight. But you know, I don't blame them. The graphics here are high and there is no way to bring them down so you can see all the monster scary details, from the spit in their mouth to the swords in their hands. Now I am trapped inside a circle of monsters only having 3% of HP. Just one more blow and I'm done for. Then as I raised my blade for the final moment, all went black and the last thing I remembered was a girl singing the same song my mother sang before she died.

It's Friday! Schools out and the summer begins. And the best part is I'm finally getting the new gaming console "Nerve Gear" along with the game " Get It Online".

OH! Right, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Deonardo Awe-Death. But my friends call me Deo. I'm 12 years old and a solid good 5'6 1/2. I am also in an elite class in my school. I am also so smart I could be owning my very own business by now, but I decided to stay to keep bullies in their place. I have spiky blue hair with a light brown complexion and my eyes are hazel. Did I mention that I'm very athletic? Well, I am, but I just don't show it (to keep off the radar). I could do everything others could with ease. Now enough about me, back to the story.

While I head towards the store that I shall get my glorious game, I planned how I would spend the rest of my summer(mostly in the game (😄)). Once I got to the store I was surprised to see that there wasn't a line. I hurried inside to see what's going on and found out that the Nerve Gear was ultra expensive. It was a $1000 (I guess that's a reasonable price). I was about to conclude that the people went back to get more money for it, but that wasn't the case for once I turned the corner I saw the greatest sight. Mr. Kayaba Akihiko, the creator of the Nerve Gear, is giving an autograph for every purchase of the Nerve Gear. I had to meet him. I ran closer to the desk and stopped near it. I nearly shrieked with excitement.

There he was Mr. Akihiko in all his glory. I didn't know how to even approach him. So, I improvised and went up to him and said "Hi" like we are casual friends. The moment I did that, everybody stopped whatever they were doing and stared at me and him. I started getting nervous thinking I said something wrong (WHAT!!WHAT IS IT??!!). Then Mr. Akihiko spoke and ask, " Did you just say 'Hi' to me". I was about to bust out an apology when I realized I wanted to know leave a good impression, so instead, I nodded fearfully. The next thing he did was so amazing you could call it a miracle.

He laughed. His laugh was loud and booming (everybody was shocked.........every one). When he stopped, he then said, " That's the very first time anybody has ever greeted me so casually. It's always the same ' Hello Mr. Akihiko ' or 'Good morning Akihiko-sama '. All I wanted was for someone to talk to me like a person, and you did. I'd like to reward you with something....um.....what's your name anyway?"
" Deonardo " I barely stammered out.
He then declares " Deonardo I am doing to give a gift of a lifetime. I'm going to give you a Limited Edition Nerve Gear. " My heart jumped with excitement. I was getting ready to receive the nerve gear for free. " Half the price off! " Really? I barely have money to get a regular game console, how in the work am I supposed to be able to buy a limited edition one for half of $1750. " I'm just kidding don't get mad. " He reached underneath the desk he was sitting at and pulled out a golden case. " Here you go. The limited edition nerve gear. Now before I give it to you, I need to promise to never give it away. Can you do that?"
" Yes, certainly sir. " I promised. Man, this is awesome it can't get better than this. Then it did.
He got up and ask,"How about I give you a ride home so you don't get pummeled with money offers?" " Sure!" OH, MY GOODNESS! First I get something for free and now I get to ride in a limo. Once we got in the limo I saw that it was much bigger on the inside than on the outside. There was enough room for 12 hot tubs ( and there were 2 hot tubs🛁). The driver seat had a wall with just a slide for the driver to report in, there was a seat for two people with a computer at each seat ( and they were high tech computers that were holograms. WHAT!!!), and on the other side was heaven. It was SNACKS GALORE with all the snacks you can name from the top of your head. Reese's, Hersey, Twix, Lay's, Trident"s gum, Neon gummy worms, Some Chinese candy, and more. Behind that was the hot tub.

We didn't talk much ( I was eating the snacks😅😘🍰🍭🍫) but, he did say that I reminded him of an Ace he used to know. He also said that he was a legend. We arrived at my House, and I thank Mr. Akihiko for the ride and ran to my house. I turned around to wave bye, but he was gone ( talk about creepy😫👻). I went inside and dumped my school bag on the sofa and ran straight to my room. I put the case down on my bed and opened it to see that inside the golden case was the beautifully placed nerve gear.

The blue and white( two favorite colors) helmet was to the far too left. Off to the top middle was the console box ( which was surprisingly small) and on the top right was four wires( power, headgear, and extras) on the lower left was some extra screws and on top of them was the instruction manual and health hazards( I'll be reading that later ). To the far lower right was a small, antique box that read "PLEASE READ BEFORE PLAYING." Finally, in the middle was the wonderful game GIO( Get It Online😆⚔😫☠).

I quickly and carefully set up the game with the help of the manual. While I did this I read that I had to say link start to play the game( like magic words. Cool!). I finished reading the health hazard booklet then turned my attention towards the little antique box. I was quite nervous about opening it but I did it anyway. What I found inside it was two sheets of paper-one red the other blue and small- and a small USB. I went and started reading the red one first and it said,
Hello and congratulations on getting the Nerve Gear. You are now the owner of the limited edition class called Acer. Please allow the game to access your brain and create your a character for you. We assure that you will be very satisfied with the results. Inserting the USB will unlock the class and give you a few more surprises. Thank you and enjoy the limited edition GIO.
After reading that, I then looked at the other note which read;
Once in the game look for Yoshimiku a.k.a Miyura.
I don't know who Miyura is, but I guess I'll find out I inserted the USB like the red note said to do. Then I memorized Yoshimiku and Miyura just in case I might see her. I then put the game in and then laid on my bed with the helmet on. I took a deep breath and looked at the time; 12:59 am. I took another deep breath then said," Link Start!" And soon enough, I was zooming through a multi-colored portal that will take me to a world I would spend my summer in. Maybe even die.
