Preview: The Bakusquad (that includes Shinso) are in a band but because of that Kaminari and Shinso have had to keep there relationship a secret. And that leads to this chapter that the author just loves.

"Tonight at 9:00 the band 'Brainwashed Teens' will preform at UA Square! It's a show you're not going to want to miss!"

A lazy sigh leaves my lips and I click off of the TV.

"How am I suppose to relax when all the news is about us preforming tonight?" I ask no one in particular.

Bakugou, our drummer, shoots me a glare. "Maybe if you didn't get so nervous it wouldn't mater if it's on all the stations." I pouted.

"You can't blame him for being a baby Bakugou! He can't control it." The bassist/vocalist sorta came to my rescue.

Sero joined in. "Yeah! What Mina said!"

Thankfully Kirishima, guitarist/vocalist, saved me from their comments. "Go back to working on your keyboard and stop picking on Kaminari."

"Who's picking on my boyfriend?" I hear from behind be. A smile widens my lips and I quickly rush and hug the lead singer of our band. Shinso.

He lets out a little chuckle at my clinginess before speaking. "We need to start going on stage. We start in ten."

I pull away from him with a frown. "Yeah and start acting like we're just band mates and haven't been dating for five years."

He sighs before grabbing his mic stand and unplugged mic and moving to the stage. I know it's unfair to make comments like that to him since we both agreed to keep our relationship out of the press so if we had a, very unlikely, break up, we wouldn't have to deal with reporters rubbing it in our noses. I grab my guitar from my guitar stand and move to the stage.

We all get in our spots and send each other a look saying 'We got this!' and 'I'm proud of you!' and 'I love you'. Okay maybe the last one was just for Shinso and me but whatever.

The cheers get louder as the curtain gets pulled up and we all smile and wave at the crowd. Bakugou taps his drumsticks together three times then we get started for the show of a life time.

Shinso bends down and picks up his water bottle with sweat pouring down his face. I send him an encouraging smile. We only have one last song before we get to get off this stage and go home (after signing some autographs and saying hello to a few fans).

He looks at me for a second before a bright smile comes onto his face. He places down his almost empty water bottle and steps forward to the mic.

"How are y'all feeling tonight?!" He shouts into the mic and the crowd lets out a loud cheer.

He smiles brightly. "That's what I thought! So would it be cool with you guys if for the last song of the night it be for someone I hold really dear to me?"

The cheers somehow are even louder this time. Mina, Sero, Kirishima, and Bakugou all share a look and a smile. Mina comes over to me and tells me to do the cords for the song Shinso hadn't finished the lyrics for. I nodded my head, confused, but went along with it.

"So because I'm in this epic band I've had to hide my relationship with the person I love most. And you know what? Fuck that! So let's start with a three two, three two one!" He shouts into the mic.

Everyone starts playing giving me no time to wrap my head around what he just said and he starts singing the supposedly unwritten lyrics.

"Well we've all heard about how the guys in the band weren't the popular kids in school. And now you hate your parents 'cause of the way you turned out but in the end the blame's on you."

I glance up to look at Shinso with a confused smile. What is this song?

He grabs the mic stand as he sings the next lines. "And we all sympathize with your torn-apart heart and your really artistic worldly views. It sells records when you're sad these days. It's super cool to be mad these days."

I frown a little as I strum. I thought he said that this song was for me. Maybe I got too psyched and it isn't. Great. Now I feel like bawling my eyes out.

"I think rock and roll is really funny when it's serious."

Mina and Kirishima both join him for the line and I force a smile on to my lips while looking up at the crowd.

"Don't hate us 'cause we're happy! Don't hate us 'cause we're beautiful! Don't hate us if we make you smile or if we go the extra mile to make someone feel better on a really shitty day."

While he sings these lines he starts to unzip his jacket. That's weird, he always keeps it on. He must be hot. Wait isn't he wearing that sh-

"And if you're hearing what I'm saying then I want to hear you say, "I'm gay!""

He tosses he jacket off to the side of the stage reveling a shirt that says 'I'm gay!' with the word gay in rainbow font.

"I'm gay!" Mina and Kirishima both shout leaning into their mics.

"Say "I'm gay!"" Shinso shouts.

"I'm gay." They shout again.

"Let's start a movement, let's start it right now and if you don't know where to start I can show you. I'm your new team captain! Put your left hand over your heart and repeat after me:"

Happy tears fall down my cheeks and I continue to strum. A couple people at the edge of the stage notice and start to freak out but I mouth to them 'I'm fine'.

"It's perfectly fine to be a happy individual."

"It's perfectly fine to be a happy individual." Kirishima and Mina repeat.

"Bakugou, Sero? You guys wanna join in?" Shinso says picking up his mic and turning to those two.

"Yeah, buddy." Sero says with a quick thumbs up.

"Sure, sorry dude." Bakugou says with a mad grin.

"It's perfectly fine to be a happy individual."

"It's perfectly fine to be a happy individual." Everyone but me repeats after him. Once again people notice but this time I don't say anything.

"Very nice, very nice." He moves back to the front and picks up the mic stand to move it to the side of the stage.

"Don't hate us 'cause we're happy! Don't hate us 'cause you're miserable! Don't hate us if we make you smile or if we go the extra mile to make someone feel better on a really shitty day."

He looks over at me and makes eye contact. He smiles brightly and moves over to me, grabbing my wrist. He pulls me to the very front with him while singing.

"And if you're hearing what I'm saying then I want to hear you say, "I'm gay!""

"I'm gay!" I shout with Kirishima and Mina while leaning into Shinso's mic.

"Say "I'm gay!"" Shinso shouts.

"I'm gay!" This time Mina and Kirishima drop out with huge smiles on their faces.

"That's right, ladies and gentleman! Pick up the phone 'cause Brainwashed Teens is on the line!"

I look away from the crowd only to see that he hasn't looked away from me yet. My smile somehow grows even more.

"And you don't have to be sad anymore! You don't have to be mad anymore!"

He's right. Now I can be openly Bi and he can be openly Gay and Demi! Mina can be openly Pan! Kirishima can be openly Gay! Bakugou can be openly Gay and Demi! Sero can be openly Ace!

"We can all join hands and do ring around the freaking rosie! In fact, can we can get some "La la"s up in here?"

He sings and looks over at our band like as if it was an actual request and they all didn't plan this already. I love my friends.

"It sells records when you're sad these days. It's super cool to be mad these days. I think rock and roll is really funny when it's serious."

Shinso looks back at me and both of our grins grow even larger. I don't think I have ever been happier.

"Yo, where my "La la"s at!?" He shouts as he grabs the mic stand and brings it back to the middle of the stage. Everyone starts singing.

"La la-la la, la-la la-la. La la la la."

Bakugou leans towards Kirishima's mic while somehow keeping on beat with drum. He has a smile on his face while looking at his boyfriend.

"La la-la la, la-la la-la. La la la la."

Sero leans towards Mina with his own smile for his girlfriend. (Even though he doesn't have a sexual attraction he has a romantic attraction.)

"La la-la la, la-la la-la. La la la la."

Shinso places his mic back on the stand and takes his eyes off of me only for a second.

"La la-la la, la-la la-la. La la la la."

I don't even try to play the last few cords as I let go of my guitar,—if it wasn't strapped to me it would have broke—grab Shinso by his collar, and smash our lips together.

Loud cheers come from the crowd as he wraps his arms around my waist and I my arms wrap around his neck. We kiss like it's our last one. Only once a few 'Boo's' are heard does Shinso remove one arm from my waist but only to flick them off. To show them we are done hiding and proud to be ourselves.

We finally pull away for air and I pant slightly while leaning my forehead against his. We stand up strait once we regained some composure and he moved us back towards the mic with an arm still around my waist. He grabs the mic while keeping it on its stand and sends me a smile before looking back at the crowd.

"I think I forgot to mention something to you guys, you want to know what?" Cheers follow his question and he sends me a playful smirk.

"I'm gay and this my my boyfriend Kaminari Denki. He's in a band and is the lead guitarist. Cool right?" I let out a laugh and lean against him as the crowd roars.

Kirishima grabs his mic while keeping it on the stand. "Oh yeah! I forgot to mention something too. I'm gay and this is my boyfriend Bakugou Katsuki. He's a drummer and is really aggressive when you get on his bad side." Bakugou just rolls his eyes at the direct insult and grabs his hand from where he is sitting.

"OH OH! MY TURN!" Mina shouts into her mic while jumping up and down. Everyone laughs. "I'm pan and and dating this sweet heart right here! Sero Hanta!"

Shinso sends everyone in his band one last smile before leaning back to the mic. "We are Brainwashed Teen's and goodnight!"

OMG! SO CUTE! I THINK I'M GONNA DIE!!!!

I didn't die but this is by far one of my favorite chapters I have written. It's just so cute!!!
