I couldn't move, everything felt weak. Was I dead or simply in the process of dying? I could still breathe slightly so I assumed I was just barely alive. I smile a little, this was it, I was dying, I was a fucking horrible person, I deserve it. I probably would've been laughing if I could move, but all I could do was smile as I felt tears roll down my face, "JANUS?!" I heard Patton's voice call my name, but I couldn't respond, everything hurt so much I couldnt feel the pain (Does that make sense-?) when suddenly I felt a pair of lips press against mine, I opened my eyes and saw Remus crying and holding me. It took a while but eventually I could talk and move again. I sat up on my knees and wiped the tears off Remus' face, "Im okay" He hugged and kissed me again catching me off guard but I kissed back after the initial shock. "Why didn't you tell me?! I coudlve lost you!"  I sighed, "I was scared you'd reject me, you're the one always saying you hate relationships" "I said that so you wouldn't think I liked anyone! I liked you but you were always so snarky and seemed annoyed by me, so I thought you wouldn't feel the same! You didn't tell me you had Hanahaki!"

I sat there in silence. I had several questions, "Okay first, you are annoying, but I like it, it's unique. Second, Why would you lie to me so you didn't know I liked you, even if I didn't, I wouldnt leave you. Third, how do you even know what Hanahaki is" Remus pulled a napkin out his pocket with a bloody yellow petal inside it, "I- you- but- how?!" I pulled out the napkin with the green petal and showed it to him, "I guess I got mine after you so I wasn't that close to dying yet." He then looked at me with a mixture of sadness and shock, "So....you were really going to accept yourself dying?..." I looked down biting my lip, not having an answer. Of course I was, I didn't like myself, I was a bad person and everyone knows it, but I don't want him knowing I think that way. "I was scared but... it honestly seemed better than rejection.." Remus kissed my forehead, "I would never," I smiled a tiny bit and layed on his lap, "Thanks Re.. also how did you know" "I heard Patton scream your name and ran in, then he quickly explained what was wrong" I hummed, "Yeah it was a matter of time before they told you, I'm surprised they kept it a secret for this long." Remus' eyes widened, "WAIT THEY KNEW?!" I nodded, "I accidently coughed up flowers in front of them, and Logan being the nerd he is immediately pieced it together" Remus nodded, "So.. since we both established we like each other, will you be my boyfriend Jan?" I smiled, "Of course, should we tell the others" Remus nodded, "Patton was on the verge of a mental breakdown while trying to explain, so I would think it's for the best" I smiled and giggled a little as he picked me up and carried me to the room where Thomas and Logan were trying to calm down Patton who was screaming and crying his eyes out on the floor, Virgil was pacing back and fourth doing every anxious stimm imaginable (Chewing his nails, playing with his hoodie strings, twitching, etc-) and Roman just kinda sat down obviously tense. "Miss me?" They all jumped up and tackled Remus and I in a hug, "Im taking that as a yes" When they all let go Thomas, Patton and Virgil wiped the tears off their faces. "Janus, never scare us like that again!" I smiled softly, "I promise, I won't."  

Virgil looked between the two of us, "So did you tell him?" Before I could answer Remus grabbed and kissed me which I guess answered their question cause I just heard a bunch of squealing. Probably Thomas, Roman and Patton. He pulled away from me smiling as I playfully slapped him, "So, about being friends?" I giggled, "I wouldn't say no" They all hugged me again, guess I was gonna have to get used to this, I looked at Remus, "So, wanna join the light sides Re?" He shook his head, "Nah, you go ahead, I get the whole Darksides place to myself" He came over and kissed my nose, "But I'll come by everyday, to see my favourite snake" I nodded and waved goodbye while we went to go see where to put my new room. I'm glad I didn't die.
