I had just woken up and felt too weak to move so I just layed there for who knows how long until I heard my door slowly open, "Remus, I'm not in the mood, get out!" "Actually....Its Patton..." I shakily sat up, "What don't you need?" Patton took my hand and brought me to his room where Logan, Roman, Virgil and Thomas were. I raised an eyebrow, "If this is an intervention for the last time I can't control the lies" They shook their heads and sat me down on the bed, "Please confess Janus! We can't lose you! We're pretty sure he likes you back" I sighed, "What would make you think that" They silently looked at each other,
"Well..."

Flashback to about an hour ago(Third Pov-)

Remus was bouncing around the room when Virgil walked in, "Hey Re..." Remus looked at Virgil and frowned, "What Virgil, I thought you didn't like me and Jan anymore..." Virgil looked down, "I know I'm sorry, I didn't mean any of that I just felt as if I pretended not to like you it'd be easier to get accepted..." Remus looked at Virgil then smiled and hugged him, "Forgiven and Forgotten Emo" Virgil smiled back and sat on the bed, "Lets catch up"

Time skip about 15 minutes

"So Virge, I seemed to realize you and my brother have been flirting during videos~" Virgil went red and huffed(Im sorry the last episode has Prinxiety on my mind TvT), "Nicknames don't count as flirting idiot!" Remus giggled, "Well sorry, but they kinda do" Virgil stuck his tongue out at Remus, "Well have you gotten any closer to Janus" Remus blushed and grinned, "Yep! I like him a lot!" Virgil smiled widely, "Oh thank goodness!" Remus tilted his head in confusion, "Wow, you're happy about that, it's like he'd die if I didn't-" (Oh you have no idea Re-) Virgil laughed nervously, "Yeah.... anyway I gotta go, see ya Re!" Remus waved, "Smell ya later" Virgil laughed and left.

Back to present(and Janus' Pov-)

I sat there as they all stared at Virgil, "So am I getting an answer orrr?" Patton smiled at me, "Lets just say Virgil had a hunch" I shrugged, "Well Im pretty sure he doesn't and I'd much rather live without the embarrassment of being rejected by a literal Trashrat, besides didn't you all want Thomas to be a better person or whatever, what do I contribute to that?" Patton frowned again, "Jan, we need lies, besides Thomas knows when to lie and when not to, it's a natrual part of life! We can't lose you, besides we think you're a great person and actually wanted to try being friends..." I looked at him then the others, I knew he wasn't lying but.. how- it was surreal, "You wanted to be friends...with me...?" They all nodded as I tried to take this all in, why did this have to happen when I was going to die, "I....I'd like that but... I'm sorry I can't tell him..." They all sighed  and nodded which honestly made me feel bad, "We respect your decision Janus, and we will not try to persist any longer, whatever you choose to do in the Long term, we will support you" I smiled a little, "Thanks Logan... anyway I should go before Remus burn something down" I coughed up a single petal and sighed, "By-" I was kidnapped in a group hug which surprised me but I decided I might as well accept it and sunk down when they let go.

I wrapped the petal in a napkin and left it on my bedside table. I was in a bit of a better mood which seemed to help the pain, I was really happy for the first time since I got this stupid disease and if I somehow survived, I think Im gonna enjoy it.
