Don't let this make you think that you're invincible though, a demon who could possibly use a wide-ranged weapon could easily take you out if they had the right power and strength."

You

"Sweet... So I just gotta watch out for that stuff, right?"

Ryo

"That's pretty much it."

You took a good look at the demons, frozen, standing right in front of you. It was almost as if they were brain dead. 

For some reason, you just thought that it would be such a wonderful idea to slash off its head with your bare hand. 

You

"Agh! It's pissing on me!"

Ryo

"No- Y/N! A demon's blood is yellow, it's what you need to expect!"

You

"I don't know if I wanna keep on killing demons... I don't want their piss all over me!"

Ryo

"As said before Y/N, it's not-'

You

"Well, we're just gonna call it piss because I said so."

Akira

*Sigh* "Whatever you say."

You took a good look at the other ones, right before slashing off their heads just as you did with the first one.

Akira

"Y'know, she seems to kinda be enjoying it in a way of her own. Before, that was Lilith that we were trying to communicate with. That was only because Lilith had taken over Y/N."

Ryo

"I suppose so."

You

"Uh... Ryo?"

You yelled, from a distance. Ryo and Akira thought that it would be best if they stayed away from you, just for now.

Ryo

"Hm?"

You

"What do I do now? There's no more of them."

Akira

"Really?..."

Ryo

"Oh. Then... We'll come here tomorrow night. When more spawn again."

You

"So that was it? Kinda boring if you ask me."

Ryo

"Fine then, how about I force a duel upon you and Akira?"

You

"Jeez, Ryo! I did say that I was bored, but I'm not that bored!"

Akira

"I kind of am interested in this though... It's hard to tell which Devilman is stronger."

You

"Oh hell no, there's no way that you're actually considering agreeing to the duel."

Akira shrugged.

Akira

"Pfft, I'm just joking! It wouldn't be pleasant to see us killing each other, really."

You all headed back, you being unable to sleep again. It was just like jet lag.

Ryo heard knocking at his bedroom door in the middle of the night, the noise waking him up.

Lazily, he got up from his bed and opened it to see you, blurred in his vision.

Ryo

"What?"

You

"Do you at least have any sleeping pills?"

Ryo

"No, I ran out. You can't sleep again?"

You

"Yup."

Ryo

*Sigh* "What do you want me to do about it? Sing you a lullaby?"

You

"No way. Give me methods to sleep. You seem to sleep easily."

Ryo

"... I dunno, just think of sleeping. Count sheep?..."

You

"Ryo, nobody counts sheep anymore, you should know that."

Ryo

"Oh... Oops. Then how about... Since you can't sleep, let's go on a train."

You

"Ryo, that's probably the most random shit you've ever said to me."

Ryo

"I'm not kidding. I'm being dead ass serious, let's go ride a train."

You

"You're kidding."

Ryo

"I'm not."

You

"Will Akira be okay here alone even?..."

Ryo

"He should be fine, he's a deep sleeper."

You

"I guess so. But why do you all of a sudden want to bring me on a train?"

Ryo

"You must be bored, having to stare at the living room ceiling for countless hours. So, I'll take you somewhere exciting."

You

"Just how is a train exciting?"

Ryo

"... You get to see nice views."

You

"Pfft, no way that you find nice views exciting."

Ryo

"Huh, how rude. Making fun of one's interests? Not cool, Y/N. Also, could it just be that you're... afraid of the train?"

You

"... Okay, fine! We'll go on the train!"

This was confusing to you, out of nowhere, Ryo had just asked you to board a train with him. And in the middle of the night too, probably the most dangerous time to go outside.

Ryo

"Where would you like to go?"

You

"... I don't know."

Ryo

"Come on, it's up to you."

You

"I've never really been out of the city. I don't know what other places are like."

Ryo

"What kind of place are you looking for?"

You

"I'd say... A silent place. Someplace that's calming."

Ryo pointed to a certain part of the map.

Ryo

"Then I'll take you there."

You both finally boarded the train, looking around. Surprisingly, it was actually quite modern on the inside.

You were awkwardly sitting up straight.

Ryo

"What's up with you?..."

You

"Huh?"

Ryo

"Why do you look like that?"

He questioned, his chin resting on his palm.

You

"Like what?..."

Ryo

"You look angry."

You

"Oh- Do I?..."

Ryo

"Mhm."

You

"This feels strange, I've actually never been on a train before."

Ryo

"Wow."

You

"Is that supposed to offend me?"

Ryo

"Nope, it's just surprising since you're an actor. I thought that you'd have to be brought everywhere to shoot new scenes."

You

"Oh, that? Yeah, no... All the scenes you see are fake."

Ryo

"Heh, I figured."

Ryo looked like a literal zombie, he was just about to fall asleep. He laid his head on the table that was in front of the seat that you and he were sitting on.

You

*Sigh* "Ryo, what was the point of bringing me all the way out here to go on a train with you if all you're gonna do is sleep?"

Ryo

"Wh... Huh?"

You put your hand on the side of your forehead.

Ryo

"Y/N."

You

"What do you want now?"

Ryo

"What do you think you would do if I hold your hand?"

He asked his question with absolutely no hesitation, and it was quite sudden. That's the last thing you'd expect him to ask you.

You decided to play along with it, and simply answered his question.

You

"I'd probably smack you across the face."

Ryo

"And... What if I asked to hold your hand?"

He continued with his questions, still so sudden.

And you still played along with it.

You

"...Then maybe I'll allow it."

Ryo

"Maybe?... Then, in this case, Y/N, could we hold hands?"

You

Why the hell is this just- So sudden?

There was some silence before you answered.

You pulled out one of your arms from being crossed and laid it wide open just beside Ryo's head, which was still being laid on top of the table.

Lazily, he lifted up his and put it in yours. You shivered, feeling a quick chill up your spine once both of you made contact.

You

"God- Ryo your hands are fucking freezing?!"

Ryo

"It's fine, yours is there to warm it up anyways."
