Sky POV~

I flew off towards the forest.

'This makes no sense... how is Ty a demon? He's too nice and cute to be evil!' I sighed. I had a lot of searching ahead of me, though he can't have gotten far if he was injured.

I started by searching the tree line, and then I gradually moved inwards.

~TIME TURNER TIME SKIP OF MAGIC TO ONE HOUR LATER~

'Where is he?! I've searched the entire forest floor!' I thought, frustrated.

I had started heading back towards the village, when something caught my eye. Something purple.

I rushed over to it. It was more of that purple blood, and it was smeared on the trunk as though he had gone up the tree.

'Of course!' I thought triumphantly. 'I couldn't find him on the forest floor because he was in the canopy!'

I flew up the tree, and there was some more of the blood. Then the blood stopped, and I looked around to see the trail lead to the next tree over. The branch was partly broken, and there was purple blood all over it. Then I noticed that the branch was sizzling under the blood. I looked closer, and gasped. The blood was slowly healing the branch! I took a picture and recorded the data in my glasses. Then I heard whimpering.

I flew around the tree with the broken branch and gasped. There was Ty, lying inside a hollow of the giant tree. But the most shocking part was how he looked. He had black and purple wings and tail, and he had claws and fangs, with his eyes now purple with black slits. He was also covered in purple an red blood.

'He's some sort of ender dragon demon.' I thought to myself.

I took a closer look at his wounds. Ty was covered in cuts and bruises, and there were even around 9 arrows stuck in his body. The holes in his white v-neck shirt and gray pants were stained purple around the wounds. But some of them were surrounded by red and purple. Then I noticed the hole in his shirt that was still oozing purple blood, right above his heart. He was holding a tenth arrow in his hand, and I guessed that he had pulled it out.

Suddenly, Ty opened his eyes and saw me. He jumped, but then calmed down.

"H-hey, Sky. I guess they sent you to kill me, huh." Ty's eyes were sad, but resigned. He seemed open to death.

"Ty... I'm not going to kill you." I told him.

"Why? I'm a monster, and I deserve to die." He said.

"Because instead I'm taking you to the angel court." I said.

"What?!" Ty replied, startled. Then his eyes widened as he saw something behind me. He lunged at me, pushing me away.

"What was that for?!" I asked him. Then I saw the new arrow in his chest.

I whirled around, and saw Ty's dad in the tree across from us.

"YOU DIDN'T KILL HIM!!!!" Ty's dad screeched at me, reloading his bow. "SO I'LL JUST HAVE TO KILL BOTH OF YOU!!!!"

"I don't think so." I said as I pulled out my budder sword and flew at him.

I dodged his arrows until I was right next to him. He pulled out a sword, and lashed out at me.

'Is this guy insane?!' I thought to myself while I parried his attacks.

Then I saw an opening and struck. I knocked him unconscious, but not before he had hurt me. With a huge gash now on my right wing, I barely managed to get back over to Ty.

"I'm sorry... he hurt you..." Ty said.

"It's ok, it's just a scratch." I managed to say through the pain.

"Come here." Ty said, sitting up.

I obeyed, and he grabbed my wing and held his wrist over it.

"Let's hope this works..." He said, and cut his wrist, making some of his blood to fall on my gash and fill it.

Then, my wing started to heal. The flesh grew back, and the feathers did too.

"Wow..." I said, flexing my wing. "Your blood has healing properties?"

"Well, I was only guessing based on that branch that I broke but got covered in my blood." Ty answered, grinning. "I think my wounds will heal soon too..."

Sure enough, his wounds were already almost done healing.

"Ok. When you're all healed up, we can head to the angel court. Until then, you should get some sleep." I told him.

"Ok..." Ty said and within moments, he was asleep.
