Sky POV~

TY WAS A DEMON?!?!?!?! How come I couldn't tell?! I'm able to detect a demons presence, how come I couldn't detect his?! I pushed a button on my sunglasses. They zoomed in on the purple liquid on Ty's dad's knife. Then a caption popped up.
Demon blood. Type unknown.
The caption said. If that is Ty's blood, then he must be a very rare type of demon for his blood not to be in the database. Sigh. I guess I have to stop the villagers from going after him, they'll just get hurt.
"STOP!" I called out.
"Who said that?" Ty's dad said, looking around.
I walked though the crowd, stopping right in front of him.
"I did." I said, glaring at him through my shades.
"Well of course you would, you're one of Ty's no good friends. We're going after that demon and you can't stop us!" Ty's dad yelled at me, getting a few "yea"s from the crowd.
"I have every right to stop you." I said calmly. "If you all go after a demon, then you'll get killed. These kind of things are left to angels to handle."
"Then where's an angel now?" Ty's dad sneered. "We sure could use one."
"There's one right in front of you." I said as my budder colored wings sprouted out of my back. I was the only angel in existence with wings that weren't white.
Everyone gasped. "An angel!" I heard a few people cried out, and everyone started murmuring.
"All of you, go home! As an angel it is my duty to kill demons. I'll get rid of Ty." I called out to the crowd, and they all started to walk back to their homes or jobs.
"No! I'm killing that good for nothing beast once and for all! I've been waiting ten years since my wife died for an excuse!" I heard Ty's dad scream in rage behind me.
I turned back towards him. "Sir, if you do this I will have to arrest you and bring you in to the angel court for punishment." I warned him and he stopped screaming and turned as white as a sheet.
"Humph. Come on, Ben, lets go." He said and Ty's older brother followed him back to their house.
I sighed. Now I was going to have to hunt down my bestest friend in the world, who was also my crush, and take him to the angel court. This was going to be hard, since Ty knew the forest better than anybody, even Jerome, who was a bacca. Wait a second...
"Glasses, pull up the image of the unknown demon blood." I said, and the image came up.
Yes... There! That was human blood! Why was there human blood on the knife, mixed with the demon blood, when Ty's dad said that Ty had already been transformed?! Something wasn't adding up...
