Chapter 7:Prom
It was the day of scarlett and summer's prom and dr jones she had moved up as the vice principle now while mr fisher he was the guidance counselor and he wanted them to do a few songs like 3 or 4 and they felt honored that she asked them to sing and summer and scarlett was getting ready at summer's house and dr jones asked roxas and axel to be apart of the chapperones at the prom including sora and riku and zexion as well demyx was working same for reno.

Or so they thought and roxas is zipping up summer's prom dress it was a solid blue like the color of her eyes it tied around her neck and she had a corset on underneath and her makeup was done by zexion and her hair was up in a bun and the curls fell down summer smiles when she looks in the mirror her dress was a cerulean blue and it straped around the neck and it showed off her bust area and as it got to her knees it showed off her knees and she had on silver shoes and when she stepped out of the door she seen scarlett she was in a pink dress.

It went well with her brown hair and riku was mad because when she was a baby and a toddler she had silver hair and as she got older it turned into brown just like sora's and she had on a strapless with a sweetheart neckline and it was sparkly from the top of her shoulder and made its way down the skirt it turned into a hot pink and at the bottom it was purple it was doing a fade out sorta thing and she smiles at her and says "you look beautiful scar".

Scarlett smiles and she says "look at you summer" summer smiles and grabs her hands and she says "are you ready to step out and show everyone?" scarlett smiles as they step out into the living room and when they entered paine met scarletts gaze and she smiles and scarlett seen she was in a tux it was a vest and pants and scarlett smiles and paine says as she approaches scarlett and she says "you look beautiful".

Scarlett grabs paine's hand and paine puts a corsage on her hand and summer kisses shinra goodbye because he was spending the night with cloud and zack and summer says "thank you paw paw for watching him" cloud smiles and kisses her cheek and says "just have fun ok and don't drink the punch ok?" scarlett and summer nodd and cloud laughs and kisses them on the foreheads and him and zack leave and in walks in axel and he hugs summer and she says "hey daddy well you didn't have to come we was gonna meet you at the country club" axel smiles and kisses her forehead and he says "I wanted to see my girl ok" summer smiles and roxas comes out of the bedroom and says "summer don't forget your corsage".

Roxas looks to axel and axel says "hey roxas" roxas smiles a crooked smile and he says "hey axel" axel sighs and says "want dad to put your corsage on?" summer nodds as roxas hands him the flower and as he grabs the box their hands collide and roxas blushes and axel puts his hand on roxas's fingers and roxas pulls away and summer smiles as he puts the flower on her wrist and everyone leaves and when they get to the country club everyone takes pictures scarlett and paine got several glares but they didn't care and the parents was giving them discusted looks and paine wraps her hand around scarletts waist and scarlett smiles and summer says "aww how cute".

Real loud and scarlett died laughing and paine said "good one summer" summer and paine do a fist pound and they set up their equipment so we got scarlett on keyboard ienzo on drums summer singing and summer alternates from singing to playing the acoustic guitar and electric guitar and when they step on stage and everyone starts yelling and screaming and roxas smiles as he starts setting up the camera and summer says "ok guys when we sung at the talent show this year dr jones said you loved us so much you wanted us to sing for prom well evidentley I didn't sound like a drowning horse" the crowd giggles and roxas shakes his head and thinks she got axels sence of humor axel smiles when he heard his thought I wonder what everyone is gonna think when they know I can read minds and summer says "ok the first song is called Applause".

It's killing me not to walk over there and ask him to dance with me" sora sighs and says "go ask him" roxas looks at him and sora says "you'll never know until you try" roxas nodds and starts walking over to axel and roxas stands beside him and axel sighs and says "we made a good daughter" roxas nodds and says "say for old time sake wanna dance?" axel smiles and nodds and as they are dancing summer smiles to herself and zexion knew she was happy.

Roxas had a tear strolling down his cheek axel wipes the tear away and kisses his forehead summer sings her heart out and roxas smiles up at axel and roxas thinks it's like I'm falling in love with him all over again axel read his mind and he replies in his mind I love you too my angel roxas's eyes perk open and thinks did you just? axel smiles and nodds roxas laughs and lays his head onto his shoulder

Everyone starts cheering and they step off stage and roxas and axel break apart and summer walks over to them and summer hugs roxas and he says "you did good baby I'll be right back" axel wiped away a tear and as roxas steps outside summer see he follows him with his gaze and summer says "dad go get him" axel looks to her and he says "well what about" summer sighs and says "we got enough chapperones now go talk to him".

Axel smiles and kisses her forehead and walks out and he see's roxas is in the same place whenever axel approached him when summer went to the hospital and roxas couldn't get the lighter to ignite with the ciggerette and axel snaps his fingers and lights it for him and roxas smiles and axel says "roxas what happened in there I wanna forgive you believe me I do but this is something I need to get past its not you its me I just need time ok?" roxas nodds and says "you can have all the time you need and since when can you read minds?".

Axel smiles and grabs the ciggerette from him and inhales and exhales roxas smiles at him and roxas says "but know this I love you axel and nothing will ever change that" axel smiles and nodds and says "I believe you but I can't stop picturing you with him it kills me rox and for a while now" roxas throws away the ciggerette and hugs him and holds him for a few minutes and roxas raises his head to look up at him and he says "i'm sorry If I could take it back I would".

Axel breaks away and shakes his head and he says "don't say that if you hadn't done that then you wouldn't have had slade he is the only good thing that came out of that" roxas nodds and says "your right".Axel smiles and roxas cracks a smile and axel says "he's my son I raised him" roxas smiles and they walk back inside and scarlett and paine are standing because the principle was gonna annouce the prom king and queen and dr jones says "ok guys now is a time to annouce your king and queen our king is Tidus Simms" he steps on the stage and they crown him and then dr jones says "ok now our queen Summer Hikari".

The crowd uproars summer's mouth drops and she walks to the stage and dr jones crowns her on stage and dr jones says "choose your partners guys this song is reserved for you" summer smiles as tidus joins yuna and summer looks out in the crowd and then she see's the man she has always loved ever since she layed her eyes on him reno she smiles and steps to him and he says "may I have this dance your highness".

Summer smiles and nodds and then she starts slow dancing with him and she is on the stage and then she see's scarlett and paine dancing and she says "scar" scarlett looks at her and summer takes her finger and dragged it to her saying come here scarlett steps up and summer looks to reno and she takes off the crown and places it on scarletts head scarlett smiles and grabs her hand and roxas smiles at that and axel says "she's quite a kid" roxas smiles and looks over at him and he says "she gets it from her father".

Axel blushes and roxas giggles and axel grabs roxas's hand and summer kept looking at scarlett and she winks at her and scarlett winks back and summer thinks your the queen in my heart scarlett smiles and thinks thank you summer for always looking out for me you truly are my best friend summer smiles and when the song ends and everyone went home at midnight and paine and scarlett was walking to their car and then scarlett heard a gun shot and she turned around to see paine's solid white suit turn a tint of red and scarlett shouted "PAINE!!!!"
