(I forgot to mention in the bio, the picture above is the outfit Y/n wears during his casual time or when he attends the academy. I did some research and find out that some characters' outfit is different during something like this. I don't own this photo.)

"The age of shinobi is over."

Standing on a wall are two males as one was standing tall while the other is kneeling on the ground with their sword. One of them has spiky, blond hair, blue eyes, and two whisker markings on each of his cheeks. He wears a belt with noticeably shorter black pants, regular shinobi sandals, and a cloak.

"I can't believe you went this far, Kawaki." The blond male stated in disbelief.

The other male has a black undercut, with the shaven sides being blonde, the roman numeral IX under his left eye, and a pair of hooped piercings under his right eyebrow. He wears a violet infinity scarf and belt, white overalls with his chest exposed, and a black vest trench coat.

"I'm going to send you to the same place I sent the Seventh Hokage, Boruto." The male Kawaki declared.

Guess this was the only possible..." Boruto slowly concluded. "Even after he-"

"Don't you dare say his name?" Kawaki quickly interrupted. "He's long gone, and he's not coming back."

"Oh? Is that right~?"

The two males turns as the clouds got darker. It shows a person on top of the hill as lighting roars. As the lightning shines, it shows a male with feminine features as their hair was white like snow, but the bottom of their hair is green. They have red eyes that have kanji righting on them as it pierces through the two males.

Their outfit was like a demonic shrine priest as the outfit has some torn spots. In their hand is a sword as it glows and sparks like lightning.

"You are right about one thing Boruto." The male looks at the shocked male as he licks the blood off of his hand as his eye glows brightly.

"The age of shinobi is over!"

They were at the now destroyed Village Hidden in the Leaf. Buildings falling as flames were the only thing shinning as it starts to rain. "So..." The male raises his sword as lightning starts to come out wildly, "Let's end this!"

This story begins several years earlier...

Third Person POV:

"Hey!"

Three boys were sprinting as they were in a hurry. They were jumping over as one was jumping without much problem while the other two are putting in the effort.

"Wait up Boruto!" One of the boys stated as the other one was following him without much problem. He has black-colored, spiky hair, tied up in a ponytail, and his mother's teal-colored eyes. Unlike his father, he has sharper facial expressions. His outfit consisted of a white shirt, a green jacket with yellow sleeves and collar, over it blue pants, and regular shinobi sandals.

"Is this that important?" The other guy questioned. He has some effeminate looks as he possesses eyes that are noted to be red. His hair is black with a green ombre at the bottom and is styled in a ponytail and with center-split, ear-length, voluminous curtain bangs that flow down to frame the sides of his face. 

His outfit is a two-color haori with an obi belt wrapped around him. He wears long black socks as underneath is black ninja shorts and a black shirt.

"Yeah, it's bad. It's really bad." Boruto answers. The two other boys look at each other as they continue their destination.

Scene Change Jutsu

In the Hokage building is Shikamaru and the new Hokage of the Leaf Village Naruto. 

Shikamaru has the same narrow brown eyes and a typical expression suggesting he is either bored or irritated. He has shoulder-length black hair tied in a spiky ponytail. Currently, he wears a coat and pants very similar to what his father, Shikaku, used to wear. He also grows a short goatee.

As for Naruto, his appearance changes as he has long yellow-blond, spiky hair and blue eyes. His trademark characteristics are the three whisker markings on his cheeks. After becoming Hokage, Naruto dons a garment similar to his father's: a white cape that has a red flame pattern around the hem, is held together by a red rope, and has the kanji for "Seventh Hokage" written vertically down the back. Underneath this, he wears an orange sweatshirt with black stripes, black pants, and sandals. He occasionally wears the traditional Hokage headpiece but has stopped wearing a forehead protector.

"What kept you so long, Lord Hokage?" Shikamaru started to complain as they were walking. "You don't have much time left at this point."

"It's tomorrow, huh...?" Naruto questioned as he almost lost track of time.

"Please hurry...." Shikamaru sighs as they were not at the Hokage's office. Opens the door to see multiple stacks of paper. The stacks were even outside of the desk as some accidentally fell to the floor. "...or you won't be done by the entrance ceremony."

"Guess I'm gonna be here all night again."

Scene Change Jutsu

They were on a train as Boruto sighs in relief, "I barely made it." He pulls out a burger as he smiles. "The limited-edition green chili burger! It's the last day they're serving it!"

"Why do I keep hanging out with you?" The black hair kid questioned himself as the white hair kid also agrees. "I'm starting to ask myself the same thing."

"You don't want yours?" Boruto ask as the black hair kid quickly stood up, "I didn't say that." Boruto looks at the white hair kid as he sighs, "Hey come on Y/n! It's gonna taste good!"

The black and green hair kid Y/n turns to Boruto as he looks slightly unamused. "The last time you said, you stayed at home for a week." He reminded as he look at his burger.

They took a bit as they were impressed by it, "Mmm!" However, in a couple of seconds, both males' facial expressions change, "Spicy!"

"What's in this!?" The black hair kid questioned. "So good right?" Boruto smiles.

Y/n was still eating as they look at him. "How are you still eating it?" Boruto's eyes widen.

"It's not that bad. I can still taste the flavors but it's not spicy at all." Y/n shrugged as he finishes the burger.

"I'm starting to think that you're not human." The black hair kid sighs as he turns to Boruto. "You know, you're impossible..."

Boruto sips on his drink and gasps. "I've gotta say this train is convenient." Boruto smiles as he looks towards the village, "I hardly have to walk at all, now that we've got this."

"Yeah, the Hidden Leaf Village is getting more and more modern." The black hair kid nodded as Y/n also agrees. "I'm starting to wonder with how this place is changing, could we call this place a village. Or do we call it the Hidden Leaf City?"

"Hmmm. But of course, starting tomorrow, we still have to attend that old-fashioned Ninja Academy." The black hair kid sighs as Boruto gasps. "What?! That's tomorrow?!"

Y/n look at Boruto with some concern. "There's a lot of stuff to get ready. Did you do any of them?"

"Uh..." Boruto was lost at words as the black kid turned to him and raised an eyebrow. "Didn't your dad tell you about it?"

Boruto groaned annoyed as he sips his drink, "Maybe."

Y/n sighs, "Boruto...please don't go doing anything that's gonna embarrass your dad, okay?" The black hair kid agreed too, "Yeah, plus it'll make me look bad too." 

"Seriously?!" Boruto questioned as Y/n put Boruto's burger into his mouth. "You may not know this..." Boruto's eyes widen as his mouth was full, "but your mom has been telling me to watch over you."

"She does?" Boruto asks. "In some way...it's like this train." Y/n stood up as Boruto was confused. "If this train stays on the tracks, it'll go to a destination without any problems. So just wait till you get there."

"What're you talking about?" Boruto ask while the burger was still in his mouth. "My point is that you should behave," Y/n concluded.

He looks down a bit before looking up, "I should get going, see ya." Y/n jumps off the train as he turns towards the black hair kid, "Shikadai, make sure you don't oversleep!"

The black hair kid Shikadai gasps, "That was one time!!" Y/n giggles when he suddenly stops as his eyes widen. He was sniffing a bit when his mouth started to water a bit, "...Blood..."

The scent was intoxicating as he quickly look to see where it was coming from. He notice a group of the kid as he see most of them watching out as one kid pushed another kid into an alleyway. However, what caught him is the bleeding hand.

"Denki, this is all you've got?" One guy questioned. The kid Denki is a bespectacled boy with dark eyes and black chin-length hair some of which he gathers in a top-knot, allowing the rest to fall around his face. He wears a blue suit with white trimmings, blue shorts, and sandals.

Y/n quickly jumps into the roof where he sees Denki outnumber as two more kids were with the one kid. Looking at him, he is particularly small for his age.

"Isn't that enough?" Denki questioned softly. "Well, yeah, kind of, but maybe not..." The second kid turns to the others, "Right guys?"

"Yeah! You see, we wanna have some fun, too." Y/n's eyes glow as he suddenly smirks as he hears the conversation. "Huh...?" Denki asks.

"Yeah! Huh..." Suddenly a shadow figure was sitting on the first kid's shoulder as they then straddled on a standing kid's shoulders and used the momentum to snap off, rolling and throwing the kid forward, making him hit the wall. "Ahhh!"

"Huh?" Denki's eyes widen as the two other boys gasps. "What the--?!"

The kid stood up as it was Y/n who giggles. "My such a sight. Three hideous-looking boys messing with a kid."

"What did you say?" The second kid questioned. "You crazy?! You wanna get hurt?!" The third guy asks.

The first guy stood as the three boys now see Y/n as they smirk. "You know, a good-looking person like yourself should hang out with us." The second boy stated as Y/n smiled, "Oh?"

"Yeah! With us, we can protect you from everyone who messes with you." The first put his shoulder around Y/n. "So why not-AH!"

Y/n grabbed his arm and tossed him over his shoulder. "Who the fuck gave you permission to touch me?!" The boys shiver as Y/n's eyes glare at them. "Give him back his wallet, and get run like a dog between its leg."

"Why you-Oomph!" Y/n grabbed the third guy's face and slammed it into the wall. "A ninja?!" The second guy's eyes widen as Y/n shakes his head. "Look you guys are making me do. I have to ruin such clean skins. You know some people just didn't have the clothes that you guys have, but you do this?"

"Makes me wonder how uglier you can get?" Y/n whispers behind the second kid. He quickly turn but fell to the ground as his body was shaking as if he got electrocuted.

Y/n picks up the wallet and hands it to Denki. "Here, I think this belongs to you?" Y/n smiles. "Y-You..." Denki's eyes widen.

"Denki was it?" Y/n questioned as Denki nodded. "You should probably hide." Denki was confused until the rest of the kids were coming.

"Hey, aren't you done messing with that kid yet?" The kids' question is when they gasp at the scene. The third kid was bleeding a little on the wall, the second kid was still shacking, and the first kid was knocked out.

"What do you think you're doing?!" They started to run towards Y/n and Denki. Y/n was smiling with joy as his eyes were slowly blinking. However, he felt someone close towards him as he realizes that Denki was still with him.

"Come on, we're getting out of here," Y/n stated softly but his hands were clenched hard. "Okay--!!" Y/n put Denki over his shoulder as he runs off.

The kids grunt as they run out of the alleyway. They quickly turn and went in a direction, as Y/n and Denki were sitting on top of a roof building. Y/n was watching the scene as he was watching them running far away from them.

"Denki, are you doing okay there?" Y/n look over and see Denki's head being down. "No, I'm not okay!" Denki answers, "Now more of them will just come after me tomorrow!"

Y/n was confused as Denki continued. "That money was just spare change for me..."

"Whoa, hold on...?" Y/n was lost as Denki sighs. "Doesn't this upset you? You have to show them that you're not some piggy bank!"

"I can't. I'm not strong like you..." Denki answers. "Huh?" Y/n furrowed his brows. "I saw what you did back there. You know ninjutsu right? Do you go to the Ninja Academy?" Denki asks.

"O-Oh, uh, no..." Y/n smiles with his eyes closed. "Well, I start tomorrow."

"What? Tomorrow? That's when I start, too." Denki quickly looks up. "That's cool! Then we can get to see each other!" Y/n sticks out his hand as Denki does the same.

Time Skip Jutsu

"It's what my father wants. To inherit his company, he said I gotta learn academics and ninjutsu." Denki explains. "I'm sorry, that must be hard," Y/n replied.

"So, what's the name of your business?" Y/n asks. "The Kaminarimon Company." Y/n quickly turns to Denki, "You mean the biggest company in the whole village!?"

"Y-Yeah..." Denki slowly answers. "I guess that explains why you said it was pocket change," Y/n mumbles as he realizes why Denki said that.

"Still, I don't get it..." Y/n was still lost as he tilted his head. "Why is your father so hung up on you learning ninjutsu?"

"My father was shinobi in the Fourth Great Ninja War. He believes his achievements in battle led to his success in business." Denki explains. "So, he has great faith in ninja."

"...Is that what you want?" Denki turned as he was confused. "Do you want to become a ninja?" Y/n restated his question.

"Not really..." Denki answers. Y/n sighs, "I can't say what you should do since it's your life. But what I can give you is to do what you believe is right. If you don't want to become a ninja, then try and tell him."

"I couldn't do that. I never disobeyed him..." Denki explains. Shadow was covering Y/n's upper face as he was still walking. "At least you can trust him!"

"Huh?" Denki looks up to see Y/n smiling. "I mean you know that he's trying to do what he thinks is best for you. So that means that he cares for you right?"

Denki froze for a bit before nodding, "Yeah, but what about you?" Y/n's smiles drop, "I don't have a father. I only have Onii chan and Neesan, so I can't relate to your problems with your dad."

"Oh...I-I'm sorry!" Denki quickly apologizes. Y/n stop walking as he turns towards Denki, "In all honesty, you shouldn't put so much pressure on yourself. We're still kids, we have time to grow but we also have time to just have fun!"

Denki stared at Y/n was he noticed the sun coming down. "Denki, what time is it?" Y/n asks as he was suddenly worried. "It's seven o clock," Denki answers as Y/n's eyes widen.

"O-Oh! I'm gonna be late!" Y/n panicked as Denki was confused. "I thought you don't have parents?" Denki questioned. 

"I don't but I promised a friend of mine that I'll eat with them. Also, their mom can get worried very easily so I don't want that to happen." Y/n explains as he jumps on a rail. "Denki, don't let anyone pick on you! Show them who you are!"

"O-O...Okay!" Denki answers as Y/n chuckles. He jumps down as Denki looks down but sees that Y/n was already out of sight. "Whoa..." Denki then chuckles as he looks up. "Show them who I am!"

Y/n arrived at the house as he knocks on the door. The door opens as it shows a woman with white eyes. She has dark blue hair that she keeps in a bob-style reaching her shoulders. She wears a light purple short-sleeved jacket with a long-sleeved white shirt underneath, light brown shorts, and purple open-toed boots.

"Oh Y/n, I was getting worried if something happens." The woman smiles as she was deeply concerned. "I'm sorry Lady Hinata." Y/n apologize. "I was running some errands and lost track of time."

"Y/n, how many times do I have to tell you? Just call me Hinata." Hinata smiles. "Y/n!" A new voice came as they hug Y/n.

A girl who bears a striking resemblance to Hinata, having her dark-blue hair that she wears with straight bangs and a time-cut. Her hair flares out on the sides and back, and she has an ahoge on the top of her head, which resembles the stem of a leaf. She also inherited blue eyes, whisker markings on each cheek, unruly hair, face shape, and mouth.

She consists of a light yellow long-sleeved hooded-sweater with a blue shirt underneath that has a petal-like pattern and a two-layered pink flutter skirt. She also wears long, black open-toed stockings and fuchsia shinobi sandals.

Y/n giggles as he hugs back, "Hey there Himawari!" Himawari giggles, "So, I got this cute outfit that we can wear!!!"

"Now now Himawari, he's here for dinner. Remember both your brother and Y/n have to go to the Academy." Hinata stated as Himawari pouted.

"So, Himawari, do you know what we're eating?" Y/n asks Himawari. "Yes, I do, because I helped make it!" Himawari proudly stated. "Oh? Then I can't wait. Just let me wash my hands."

They were at the table as Boruto came to them. "There you are Y/n! Where have you been!?" Boruto demanded. "He has to do errands. Unlike you who would get into trouble." Himawari teased. 

"Hey! Who side are you on?!" Boruto's eyes widen. "The pretty side." Himawari put her hands under her chin as Y/n followed the same gesture.

Hinata brought the food as it was a cooked fish with some veggies around it. There was also some salad, cooked meat, rice, and soda drink for them. "Woah..." The kids were in awe.

"I can't believe you two are already starting at the Academy tomorrow..." Hinata chuckles. Boruto let out an excited sigh as he was about to eat. "I met your father when we were at the Academy."

"I've heard that a hundred times, ya know," Boruto complains. "He was always causing mischief, so people would treat him like a problem child," Hinata explains.

"I'm starting to see more of the resemblance," Y/n stated as Boruto turn to him. "What does that mean?!" 

"What are you talking about? Did that train make your ears hear things?" Y/n questioned innocently. Boruto tries to find what to say but he gave up, "Ah!" Himawari giggles at the sight.

"I thought for sure that your father would be home tonight..." Hinata slowly stated. "Yeah, what's new...? He just keeps on ignoring you and Himawari!" Boruto stated.

Himawari looks down as she was thinking about it. "Boruto..." Y/n look at Boruto as a way of reminding the conversation. "This village has stayed safe because your father and many others protect it." Hinata stated as she put her hand on Himawari's shoulder, "Let's just enjoy the food."

"There's not even an enemy for them to protect us from anymore." Boruto looks down. "Look Boruto..." Hinata then looks serious, "fighting isn't the only duty a ninja has. The Hokage has a lot to do to make sure people can live safely in peace. You're going have to learn that starting tomorrow at the Academy too."

Time Skip Jutsu

"Thank you for the meal." Y/n was at the door as they were done eating. "Anytime, you are more than welcome to come in!" Hinata smiles.

"Bye Y/n!" Himawari waves as Boruto does the same, "See ya Y/n!"

"Boruto make sure you wake up!" Y/n reminded as he walks off. "Hey!" He chuckles as he could hear Himawari giggles.

As he was walking, he was at an alleyway as he was coughing. He throws up the food as he was breathing hard. "Damn it!" Veins were popping out as Y/n look annoyed. "I thought I had more time!"

"Hey kid, are you alright?" A male voice came as Y/n froze. He can smell the alcohol as the man was drunk. Y/n's lips turn into a smile, "I am now."

The man was confused when he suddenly sees a pair of red eyes staring down. He was shaking when suddenly something big was coming towards him. "No! No! Guaah!"

Y/n walked out of the alleyway as he was on his way to his apartment. "Disgusting," Y/n complains as he was now at the apartment.

His apartment was a simple area as there was a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, a balcony, and a bedroom. He went into the balcony he looks up at the moon. He stared at the moon as he can almost feel someone's presence with him.

He clicks his tongue before walking inside as he closed the door.

Time Skip Jutsu

It was morning as Y/n was on his way to the academy. While he was walking, he notices that Denki was walking. He was gonna approach him when he sees that Denki was with the same three boys that were messing with him.

"The hell..." Y/n furrowed his brow. He followed them as he was hiding.

"What did you wanna talk about, Denki?" The first kid asks. "What? You want revenge?"

"You called us out, so let's do this?!" The third kid yells. "What's the deal, huh?"

"Denki..." Y/n was lost as he was hearing all of this. 'Is he taking my advice like this?! This isn't what I wanted-urgh!'

"Hey..." The second guy notices some money was on the ground as he smirks and picks it up. "Oh! Lucky!"

"Look!" The kids notices that there was more money, but they were leading a trail inside the train. The kids walk into the trail as they pick up the money that made them go inside.

"..." Y/n was staring at the kids as he was lost. 'So, they are animals.' Y/n snuck his way into a train as he caught a sudden scent. His eyes widen as he looks around, 'How!?'

The train started to move as Y/n hears a voice. "You guys are so simpleminded." Y/n was confused, "Denki? His voice..."

Y/n jump out of the window as he realized that the scent was coming from a direction. He follows it as he notices someone, "Boruto?"

Boruto looks up as he smiles, "Oh hey Y/n! I see you're gonna ride the train too!" Y/n quickly take a sniff, 'The scent isn't coming from him...Why does Boruto have a new scent?' He shook it off as he sees Denki.

"Hey, Denki!" Y/n jump on the hole as Boruto does the same. "What are you doing here? And who's that with you?" Denki asks. Y/n's eyes widen, 'The scent...why does Denki smell like them?'

"I just happen to see you. You are going to the entrance ceremony, right?" Y/n answers as he turns to Boruto. "Also this is Boruto, he's the friend that I mention when I was worried about the time."

"Who cares about all of that? I need to show father my power. And prove that I'm strong." Denki stated.

"Denki, I think that you've made your point!" Y/n then turns serious. "No, not yet. I must prove that I'm stronger beyond any doubt." Denki quickly spoke.

Boruto suddenly grunted in pain as Y/n was catching Boruto's new scent being stronger. "Look just stop this!" Boruto yells.

"I wasn't talking to you. But you're going to have to stop me." Denki then smiles. "Oh, the first railroad switch is about to pass by."

"What!?" Boruto quickly looks out of the window. He throws his kunai as he missed, "Ugh!"

"Too bad." Y/n turn to Denki. "What the hell happened to you, Denki?" Y/n demanded.

"My father's word is absolute." Denki's words trigger Y/n. "What's that?!" Y/n started to walk towards Denki.

"I have to have his approval. Or else I..." Y/n quickly grabs Denki by his shirt and lifts him, "Forget about that! You don't have to prove him anything! You have a life, so don't try and waste it on the people who want to use it!"

Denki gasps as his eyes now had lifted to them. He quickly groans in pain as Y/n put him down, "H-Hey, what's wrong?"

"Hey!" They turn to the three kids. "What're you doing? Look ahead!" The first kid yells. "It's coming man! The other train!" The third kid yells.

Y/n and Boruto look forward and see another train coming towards them. Y/n was about to move when Denki grabs his sleeve. "Why...? Why did I do this?!"

Y/n look at Denki before smiling. "Stay here." Y/n jumps up as Boruto does the same. "I have an idea!" Boruto yells. "Okay!" Y/n nodded, 'We're doomed.'

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Boruto created three clones as they all grabbed each other's ankles. The real Boruto jumps as Y/n grabs his ankles. "Let's do this," Boruto smiles, "Right!"

Boruto yells as the clones was able to switch the railroads. Y/n was still holding on to Boruto when he suddenly slip. Y/n gasps when both Boruto and Y/n was about to fall. 

Suddenly someone wrapped their arms around Y/n as it was Denki. "Wow! Nice one, Denki!" Boruto smiles. "Can we celebrate when we're not dangling!" Y/n calls out.

Denki pull Y/n in and Y/n was able to pull Boruto in. They sigh as they were sitting on the ground. "We're okay now guys..." Boruto sighs.

"What?! Speak for yourself!" The third kid yelled. "It was kind of fun, though," Boruto stated.

"No, it wasn't! Hm?" Both Denki and the first kid said at the same time. "Relax! I was just kidding!" Boruto quickly stated.

"Bad time for that!" Both Denki and the first kid started chuckling. Suddenly the train started to shake. 

They look back to see that the train was breaking. "What do we do now?!" The second kid asks. "Let's jump to the other one." Everyone turns to see Denki. "Let's go!"

"You're right." Y/n grab the second and the third as they were over his shoulder. "Come on! Go!"

"How are you this strong!?" The two kids yell. Y/n tossed them to the next cart as the first kid jumped there. "Hey come-"

"Sorry, but we've got somewhere we need to go!" Denki stated. "Yeah, but we're never gonna get there if we just stay on these tracks!" Boruto turn the train as it was going out of the tracks.

The cart fell off as it was now in the air, crashing at Naruto Hokage's head. "We made it." Boruto relieved sigh. "Boruto Uzumaki...has arrived on the scene, ya know!"

"B-Boruto..." Naruto's eyes widen. All the adults turn pale as they were shaking.

"Damn it..." Shikadai complains. "One hell of a way too embarrassed your dad..."

"At least we tried." Shikadai turns to see Y/n being next to him. "What the?! How-?!"

"Hm? I've been here for some time. You were probably too focused at the...scene." Y/n looks up at Boruto. "Oh, that reminds me, Denki are you okay?"

"What!?" Shikadai turns to see Denki's eyes widen as he stares at Y/n. He felt something dripping from his arm to see specks of blood.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Denki smiles. He wipes the blood off but realizes that it wasn't from him.

'Y/n...huh.'

Okay, so some of you may notice that when I described Naruto, it didn't match what he looks like in the manga or series. But this is our book and when I saw his new appearance I almost fell off of my bed. I refused to have Naruto looking like this, so this is what our Naruto is gonna look like.
