No One POV

"Now, let's begin our final lesson."

"Um..." Boruto spoke as he finds Shino to be odd. "Sensei, are mad about something?"

"Hey," Shikadai traps Boruto in a headlock. "I don't know what you did, but hurry up and apologize! Sensei's seriously lost it!"

"Huh?!" Boruto looks offended but went quiet when Y/n shakes his head. "Sensei, we're sorry for the trouble we've caused." Y/n spoke as he bows his head.

"No, there's no need to apologize anymore. It's because..." Y/n felt something wrong as he looks up and sees Shino's insects, "I'm going to kill all of you now..."

Boruto and Shikadai froze, "What did you say, Sensei?" Shino's insects start to attack them as they all dodge. "Is this happening for real?" Shikadai yells as Mitsuki throws his kunai.

The insects stop Mitsuki's weapon to reach Shino by making webs. "Wow, who knew you could use it like that." Mitsuki complimented.

"Is this an appropriate time for that?" Y/n questions, "Seems like Shino Sensei snapped."

"You have got to be kidding me," Boruto spoke as he was shocked. Boruto sees the shadow spectra possessing Shino, "Is that what I think it is?"

"I've had enough of not being taken seriously by my students, or having all my hard work backfire. I've had enough of everything!" Shino yells, "It almost seems like everything I was worried about, was a lie. I've been liberated! That's right, just like these insects!"

Shino's insects begin devouring the surroundings. Many trees were falling as the boys were seeing the damage the bugs are creating.

"Don't they say you better watch out when a normally quiet person just snaps?" Shikadai asks. "Yeah, it's just like what happened to Metal!" Boruto slowly looks at Y/n, "And..."

Y/n sees Boruto looking at him as if he knows what they're talking about. "We'll talk later, let's just focus on stopping Shino Sensei."

"Stop...me?" Shino questions, "Do you think you can?"

"Shadow Paralysis Jutsu!" Shikadai tries to pin them with his shadow, but there are too many, "It didn't work!"

They all jumped back, and some begin overtaking Boruto and draining his chakra. "Boruto!" Shikadai yells as he sees the insects on Boruto's leg, "Damn it, even if we can stop some of the insects, there's still too many!"

"It's a waste of time trying to teach you kids. Troublemakers who constantly give their teachers a hard time..." Shino spoke, "Lazy and indifferent ones who don't want to listen...And disruptive outsiders...I've given up on teaching you anything more. Therefore...I will eliminate you right here!"

"Wind Style: Immense Breakthrough." Mitsuki blows the insects away with his Wind Release and stretches his arms to retrieve Boruto. Y/n throws a smoke bomb to cover their escape.

Once the smoke was clear, Shino looks around and see that Y/n was the only one present. "Taking their problems personally as always. You, a student that I once enjoyed, always find yourself in taking care of their mess, how sad. My insects will find them."

"Really?" Y/n raises his hand as red lightning starts to spark, "I find that difficult to believe and insulting you think so little of me. But just know, this is me being merciful."

Shino's insects start swarming after Y/n as charged at Shino, but while dodging, red lightning was trailing as it was burning the insects.

"Tch!" Shino was getting annoyed as more insects started to appear and go towards Y/n, 'What kind of Jutsu is that? I've never seen red lightning!'

"Lightning Release: Fox Lightning!" Y/n generates a discharge of yellow electricity from their hand, manifesting a fox as it charges toward Shino.

"Lightning release?!" Shino yells as he dodges but sees that more of his insects were caught. He turns but sees red eyes beaming as he froze.

It was like time stopped as Y/n brings his hands out as it was head to Shino's face.

Scene Change Jutsu

At the Academy, Iruka wonders about Shino, "Anko Sensei...Where's Shino Sensei?"

"According to the schedule..." Anko puts her dango on the table as she goes to her computer, "He should be conducting extracurricular activities."

"I see..." Iruka nods, "He seems depressed yesterday, I hope he hasn't been brooding over it."

Anko shakes her head, "Relax, Shino's just experiencing the hardships of being a teacher here. He's going to learn the versatility of being a teacher and how to work in his class. Now stop looking worried, you look old."

"Funny coming from you." Iruka clenches his fist. "You look like you barely aged."

Anko smirks, "What can I say, I have my secret."

Scene Change Jutsu

Shino and Y/n were staring at each other as neither of them had a move. 

Y/n was starting to get frustrated; Shino has been dodging and had not tried to land a punch, kick, or anything physical. All that they've been doing was using the insects to do the heavy work while Y/n just make some attempts to hold Shino back from getting to the others.

"This is getting on my nerves." Y/n mumbles as he dodges a swarm of insects. "I thought you were trying to kill me? What happens, don't have the balls?!"

Shino just smirks as Y/n looked like he now wants to murder Shino. However, a small fox was in front of Y/n as he looks down.

Shino was confused until he sees Y/n having a different aura. Before Shino could speak, red lighting was fired as it hits the insects and Shino as he screams in pain.

There was no reaction from Y/n as he just walks away, not wanting to see Shino turns into a bug as the whole time, they were dealing with a burnt bug clone.

Meanwhile, Shino caught up with Boruto, Shikadai, and Mitsuki. The three boys were starting to get tired as they found another place to hide.

"Damn it," Boruto breathes hard. "We can't outrun him..."

"What's worse is that Y/n is dealing with Shino's clone." Shikadai mentions, "Who knows what's happening there? This is such a drag!"

"If that's the case then we should help Y/n!" Boruto yells as he gets up. "Regardless of being a clone, it's still him fighting Sensei!"

"No." Shikadai spoke, "Without a plan, he's gonna catch up to us again. And besides, Boruto...You haven't recovered the chakra that was taken from you yet."

"So, what am I supposed to do?!" Boruto yells. "If you can't escape then..." Mitsuki spoke, "All you can do is kill Sensei with everything you got, right?"

"Huh? K-Kill him? What are you talking about?" Boruto asks as his eyes widen. "Well, that's what he wants to do, right?" Mitsuki asks, "Then what's wrong with doing the same?"

'This guy!' Shikadai and Boruto yell in their head.

"If you don't do anything..." Mitsuki squints his eyes, "You're going to die."

"I might be thinking of that." Y/n spoke as the boys jumped in surprise. "Y/n?! But weren't you fighting Sensei?!" Boruto quickly asks.

"I was...but not anymore." Y/n smiles, "But we have to think of a way to deal with Sensei differently." Y/n turns to Mitsuki, "If we kill him, that'll cause more problems as he's a teacher who probably figured out a way to do this without letting the other faculty members be suspicious."

Mitsuki smiles, "Ah right, I guess I haven't thought that far. I'm sorry Y/n."

'He's apologizing to him and not us!?' Boruto and Shikadai yells angrily in their mind. "But I think I know how..." Y/n spoke as he crosses his arms and looks down, "Shino Sensei has been unconcerned with using chakra. Even while I was dealing with his clone, he was just letting his bugs go crazy."

"Yeah, now that you mention it!" Boruto seems to realize as well, "He's been doing the same with us."

"In other words, Sensei's snapped, so he lost his usual composer." Shikadai summarizes, "We should use that to our advantage."

"But the problem is his bugs." Y/n points out, "Sensei is from a clan that specializes in his bugs, so trying to get rid of them would be difficult."

"I have a plan." Shikadai spoke as he turns to Mitsuki, "But to work...I'll need someone to take on a dangerous task."

Y/n was able to click it together, "A decoy." Shikadai nods, "Yeah. And I think the transfer student is perfect for a decoy."

"Shouldn't the person who suggests it be the decoy?" Mitsuki asks. "Normally, but the problem is that Shikadai can't be the decoy. He's the only one who can immobilize Sensei quietly, so we can't risk those bugs getting him." Y/n explains as he looks at Mitsuki, "You on the other hand, have a strong versatility in Wind Style, and looks like you still have enough chakra to get in and get out."

"I see." Mitsuki thinks about it, "That does seem reasonable, considering I'll be strong enough to protect you."

"Hey!" Boruto yells as Shikadai joins in, "Also, we saw what you can do yesterday and even now, so you'll give Sensei the element of surprise since he might not know what else you can do."

"Hang on. Let me be the decoy!" Boruto suggested. "Huh/What?" Shikadai and Y/n look at each other before looking at Boruto.

"I haven't recovered my chakra, but I can still make shadow clones!" Boruto explains. "Idiot! That's too risky for you right now." Shikadai argues as Y/n nods, "You are right now Sensei's number one target to get rid of. You could seriously get killed."

"We're the ones who drove Sensei to the tipping point." Boruto argues, "I'd better take responsibility for my actions. And...I also want to help everyone."

"Everyone?" Mitsuki was confused. "Then it's all the more reason that I'm perfect for it. Because if it comes to push and shove, I can..."

"That's not what I mean." Boruto cuts Mitsuki off, "When I say everyone, I mean Shino Sensei and even you, Mitsuki. I'm not giving up till the end. I'm not letting anyone die!"

Mitsuki was shocked for a moment before he smiles, "I understand. But there's something I want you to let me do."

Scene Change Jutsu

"It seems you've finally given up and are prepared to meet your fate." Shino looks up, "Boruto!"

"I'm just done chasing you." Boruto brings out his kunai, "Instead of running, I'm taking you down right here, Sensei!"

Shino's bugs go to Boruto while they throw their kunai. Boruto tries to get to Shino with shadow clones and makes use of the webs to place an exploding tag near him. 

Shino manages to avoid all of his attacks; they hear a weird sound as they look back to see Shikadai. He manages to avoid the Shadow Technique and immobilizes both Boruto and Shikadai.

"You're keeping me quite entertained." Shino looks at the two boys, "What happened to the other two?"

Shino notices Mitsuki in the distance. "What's the matter, transfer student? You're not gonna help them?"

Mitsuki stayed silent as Shino turns away from him. "Well, whatever. I'll leave you for later." Shino looks up at Boruto and Shikadai, "So helpless without your Y/n coming in to save you. You were going to use your Shadow Paralysis and then jump into the water with me, right? You figured the insects could be contained in water. I can see right through a half-baked plan like that."

Shikadai chuckles, "We'll see about that. Sensei, looks like you've lost most of the insects you can use."

"Now, Mitsuki!" Boruto yells as Shino quickly looks back.

Mitsuki extends his arms underwater, dragging Shino down. 

'Not a bad strategy...But...' Insects were being released despite being underwater. 'You thought I didn't have any insects that can be used underwater, huh...? Don't underestimate my clan's Parasitic Insects!'

'Lightning Style: Fox Lightning!' Lightning was forming as Shino looks down and see Y/n releasing his foxes to stop them.

Y/n swims up and he grabs both Mitsuki and Shino as all three was now on the ground. Y/n coughs as Boruto and Shikadai go and checks on them. "Shino Sensei! Mitsuki!"

Scene Change -Health Office-

"Everyone, I'm very sorry."

"Shino Sensei..." Boruto spoke as Shino apologizes, "Clearly, I wasn't myself at the time. Imagine, attacking a student who I should be protecting!"

"To be fair, we've put you in that mindset." Y/n messed with his hair a little, "We never thought the mental pull of our action has been affecting you."

"Yeah, we have been making your life 10x harder than it needed to be." Boruto looks down and scratches the back of his head. "By the way, I had no idea you were that strong, Shino Sensei!"

"Y-You guys..." Shino spoke as he was shaking a little. "Please don't cry..." Y/n spoke, "Seriously, please don't."

"Shut up!" Boruto, Shikadai, and Y/n laugh at Shino. Mitsuki was watching the interaction as he was remembering his conversation with Y/n before.

It was getting late as they were heading back home. It was only Y/n and Boruto as the two were having an awkward silence, it's been a few days since they walked back home, and it was only because of the Metal situation.

"Hey Y/n..." Y/n turns to see Boruto looking down, "Back then, did you mean what you said."

"You're nothing! A self-center brat! Always causing trouble and making others get dragged down! Daddy's little shadow!"

Y/n sighs, "Yes." Boruto furrows his brows as he hears Y/n, "You've been causing so many problems and we would get dragged into them. I've never said anything because of the situation with your dad, but that got me pissed off. You have parents who would do anything to make sure you're safe. So many people dream about having that, a mom that would kiss your scrapped knee and just hold you, a father that will teach you how to be strong, and..."

Y/n sighs, "I meet your dad." Boruto looked shocked as Y/n continued, "It was during those days I had to stay at home, he was concerned with how many people had been acting odd, and when it was now someone close to you, he couldn't sit at his desk."

"What did you two do?" Boruto immediately asks. "We just talked about what happened and then we've hanged out." Y/n answers as he describes his time, "He was understanding on how ruff it is in being alone and just made me feel warm."

Y/n was holding onto his sleeves as he was missing that warmth. There were only two people that gave him that warmth and they're no longer there to give him that.

"Boruto..." Y/n looks at them, "You need to be patient. Naruto knows how his absence is affecting you and his family. Just give him some time as he'll plan on making up for the many days he hasn't been there."

Boruto was silent as Y/n didn't know what else to say or do. "I'll see you tomorrow..." Y/n walks away as Boruto was still silent.

Boruto clenches his fist. 'So, you'll have time for him and not me huh?'

Looks like Y/n was able to tell Boruto how he felt.

Yes, Anko isn't the same as the franchise. She's aged but she aged like a whine. I disliked how the creators were making characters have a drastic change in their appearance.

So yes, Anko is another character in this book who will have a different appearance than she does in the franchise.
