"Thanks for the food!" I said.

"Thank you for your patronage dear customer!" The waitress said as i left.

"Hm...i guess its time for me to roam around." I said as i began walking around town.

I look around each and every stall to see what they sold. It is good to remember each detail of every place your in because it can be used to your advantage.

"Hm?" I look over near the entrance of the village to see a merchant getting surrounded.

"Come and buy products at the foreign countries!!" He said as people crowded.

"This could be good to note." I said as i continue to roam around town.

Night.

It was already night time and everyone went in their houses. Seeing as there was no one outside their house, i changed to my demon soul to go to the surrounding forest.

I heard swords clashing on my west. I was interested on who these people were since the guy mentioned an organization called demon slayer?? I really don't understand, which is why i am going to check it out.

"Tell me how many people you have devoured?" A female said.

'urk..its that girl from before ..' i said as i hid on the trees and changed to my human form.

"You don't need to know because you will die anyway." The demon said.

'arrogant fool..' i said as i felt strong power emitting from the girl.

"Oh really?? I was just asking because i hoped to be your friend!" The woman said.

"Heh, friends my ass, we will be friends if you go inside my stomach!!" The demon said.

Seeing as this demon doesn't know when to stop with the pointless threats, i put my mask on and began to talk.

"The ignorant...are fearless. That, is the only thing i can see right now." I said as the demon looked at me while the woman charged at the demon.

The demon parried the woman and threw her away.

"You are ignoring the fact that this woman is far stronger than you. It would lead you to your death." I said as the demon got angry.

"Shut your trap bug..." The demon said.

"[Breath of the Flower] Fourth form: Crimson Hanagoromo" the woman sais as she delivered a slash to attack the demon. The demon tried to get a tree to guard it for him. Keyword: tried.

The slash the woman delivered then curved upward and then hit the demon's neck, decapitating it.

"Im not wasting any chance..." I said. I somehow need to cloak my attacks and disguise as one of her former comrades.

"[Breath of the demon] First form: Ninjutsu Demon Feast." I said as i devoured the demon's body and left a blood patch on the floor. I immediately transformed to my demon soul and looked at the woman. I noticed the woman was looking at me.

"My my, are you perhaps a former demon slayer who got turned into a demon??" She said. She then went up to the tree that was three trees across the tree i am in.

'if i say anything she may attack me. There is no guarantee that im going to live.' i thought as i did the only thing possible.

'i should retreat back to the town. She hasn't seen my human form yet.' i thought as i flew out of the forest.

"Wait up mr demon! Oyakata sama might be looking for you!" She yelled as i just sped up. I reached the entrance of the town and looked for an alley with another exit.

'there!' i thought as i dove there and changed to my human form and removed my mask. After that i exited on the other side and sat on the barrel  behind the wall i am hiding on.

"Huh? Where did he go?" She said as she just left.

"Safe.. " i said.

"Hey! Have you seen a girl that looks like me but more mature?" I heard a voice. I looked over to see the young girl the pursuer was with.

"Hm? I might have seen her... She was on the entrance last time i saw her." I said.

"Well, thank you very much." She said and left.

"Pheew...safe..at last..." I said. The northern town was very safe to say the least. Only that last demon was the only one in this town. Time for me to go-

"Help!!" I heard a man scream as he ran to me.

"Help, theres a monster!!" He said.

"Your that merchant are you not?" I asked.

"Yes, im a traveling merchant. You look strong, please help me!!" He said as a demon came down the roof.

"More food... I thank you for bringing another prey to me." The demon said.

"Heh.  " I stifled my laughter.

"Huh? What are you laughing at?" He asked.

"No hard feelings but.... All of this, is to make myself stronger!" I said as i began to make a stance.

"[Breath of the Demon] First form: Ninjutsu Demon Feast" i said as a mouth emerged from the ground and devoured the demon.

"T-Thank you!" The merchant said as he backed away for a bit.

"Dont worry, i only do this to demons, not humans." I said as he sighed in relief. I opened the barrel and began pouring the content to the blood to cover it up.

"Would you like to accept these as a gift?" The merchant said as he gave me blueprints.

"Hmm...wait a sec...these are blueprints of instruments.." i said.

"These are the instruments from the western country." The merchant said.

"Thank you. Even though becoming a part of me is a gift to my enemies, i also received a gift. Thank you again." I said as i took the stuff and bowed. We chatted for a bit and separated. I had to go back to the central town and get ready for the job.

"Why hello there.." i heard a man say. I looked back and saw a man with black hair and some kind of disease covering his forehead, far from his eyes.

"Who are you" i asked.

"I am Ubuyashiki Kagaya, i am sorry for the bother." He said as he walked towards me.
