"Hmm...from what that old man said...a city should be...here..." I said as i looked in the distance to see a small town.

"Is this what he meant by city?" I asked myself. not being able to eat something for three days straight puts a strain on my body. I also removed my mask to let fresh air come to me.

"Welp, i need to get a temporary job i guess...." I said as i walked towards the town.

I look around the town to see all kinds of things. A pottery, a restaurant, houses, and more importantly...

"A School..." I said.

"Hm? Do you have a business here sir?" A female asked.

"Uhm...is this school hiring teachers??" I asked.

"Uhm...i dont know...maybe you can ask the principal? He lives three blocks west from the school." She said.

"Thank you." I said as i walked towards what she said.

Ggrrrrrr~

I heard my stomach rumble. Maybe i should eat first.

"Come and participate on this special eating contest!! The winner gets a huge amount of money and any set of clothes!" I heard in the distance.

"Sigh...im sure there's an entrance fee... I won't bother.." i said as i got near the restaurant. I kept walking past it and heard.

"Entrance fee is not needed for this special occasion!!" The man said.

I perked up and immediately signed myself up.

"Me!!" I said as i went to the stage.

"Woah, that man wants to challenge the best eater here??" A person said

"He has some guts. If he doesn't win, he would have to pay..." Another said.

"Are these two the only contestants?!?!" The man said.

"Okay!! Let the eating contest begin!!!"

Half a day later.

"Are you serious?? Those two are still eating!" A man said.

"Its already sunset and the previous champion looks like he's about to puke..." A woman said.

"That new challenger looks like he can still go!" A kid said.

A few more dishes and the opponent, my opponent raised a white flag. Im still eating because it tastes very good.

"Can i eat your portion??" I ask him and he nodded. I took his plate and ate it.

"Thanks, this was the first food i ate since the past three days. I appreciate it." I said.

"And the winner!!!" The host said as he raised my hand.

He gave me the prices and bid me farewell.

"You have to pay!!" The man said.

"I dont have enough money for all of it..." I heard my opponent say. I returned to my previous spot and talked to the man.

"Uhmm sir, let me pay for him." I said.

"But you won it." The man said.

"Well, people should help each other out." I said.

"Very well." The man said. He took the amount he needed and left.

"Thanks..." My opponent said.

"No problem. We should help each other out anyway." I said as i walked with him.

"What's your name??" He asked me.

"I am hanzo.." i said.

"My name is Dominic...im from a foreign country..." He said.

"I see..." I said.

"I'm actually very poor...the reason i kept wanting to win is to support my siblings and parent..." He said.

"Parent?" I asked.

"Yes...my father abandoned my mom along with us kids...he sent us here so he won't see us again..." Dominic said.

"I see... Do you need anything right now?" I asked.

"Uhmm...i need new clothes for us...and some money for food..." He said.

"A house?" I asked him.

"We have a house inside a cave..." Dominic said.

"That's dangerous." I said. Feeling guilty, i gave him the clothes i won.

"Here, you can have the rest." I said.

"Ehh? But you won it..i dont want to leech off of someone." Dominic said.

"Don't worry, i can get more if i want to." I said.

"Thank you very much!!" Dominic said.

"Hmm...looks like the principal lives here..." I said.

"We have to separate ways now, farewell." I said.

"See you next time hanzo!" He said as he ran off to the mountain cave his family lives in.

I knocked into the door and see a man open it.

"Is there anything you need?" The man said.

"Are you the principal of this town's school?" I asked.

"Why yes...is there anything you need?" He asked.

"Let us discuss it inside." I said as i was let in.

Inside

"I see...thats not a bad idea... Being a physical education teacher can help the children grow up healthy.." he said.

"Don't worry, the only requirement i want is an assistant." I said.

"But where will you find one??" He asked.

"Well, don't worry, i already have one." I said.

"Do you need a house??" He asked

"No need sir, with the salary you will pay me, im sure i can manage." I said.

"Are you knowledgeable about the human body and their needs?" He asked

"Why yes sir, im also knowledgeable about diseases we may catch." I said.

"Hm....why do you want to be a teacher instead of a doctor? It pays higher than a teacher." He said.

"I want to be able to socialize with others...not like doctors who has their hands full of patients, they wont be able to fully socialize. Besides, this is easier." I said.

"Hmm... I guess this would be a fine addition to our school...very well, your work starts next week. Don't be late. I will adjust the school schedule to fit your subject.

"uhm if i may, my subject can be once a week only because making it daily would tire the children out." I suggested.

"Hmm...thats a nice idea. Well, you pass. You may go." He said as he gave me my id for teaching. I bowed and left.

"Hmm... Let me visit each neighboring town and destroy every demon there so that children can come here safely." I said as i walk towards the eastern town.
