Damian's pov

I walk into father's room he was sitting by his desk and looking into some paper work .

" Father when can I get married" I asked , and stood beside his desk

" When you are old enough " father said looking at me confused

" and when will I be old enough " I asked

" When you become 22 maybe..." Father said

"Tt they will even have grandchildren by then" I said in frustration 

"who will have grandchildren" father asked even more confused

"the love of my life and the man she is in love with , they will have grandchildren by the time I turn 22" I said sadly 

"So that's why you were asking me so many questions about marriage ,hmm and may I ask who this 'love of your life and the man she loves' is , anyone I know " father asked 

Bruce's pov

"So that's why you were asking me so many questions about marriage ,hmm and may I ask who this 'love of your life and the man she loves' is , anyone I know " I asked , I was curious to know who my son was in love with, whoever it is she must be very unique , I mean it's not normal for damian to be in love and heartbroken for such a pity reason 

Damian takes my hand and pulls me to the window and points outside , and what I saw was astonishing 

" You love mar'i " I questioned damian just nodded 

"you can't marry mar'i she is my granddaughter . Damian mar'i  is dick's daughter and dick is your brother , and do I have to explain to you who mar'i is to you " I say not thinking about the impact , I look at damian who was at the verge of crying .

" Damian I'm sorry " I say and put my hand on his shoulder 

"it's okay father I didn't expect much from you anyways " he said sniffing 

" okay fine, you can marry mar'i , but you will have to keep her happy and safe , and don't worry about dick ,I'll talk to him  " I said , he seemed happy for a moment but then got sad again 

" but I can't marry my love , for she is in love with someone else " damian said , acting quite dramatic 

"and who does mar'i love " I asked and damian pointed out the window again

" jon, mar'i loves jon *chuckel* and what makes you think that " I asked damian 

" 'think' , I am fully aware of their love for each other , mar'i is so good to jon and can't see me when she is with him" he said 

" damian thats ridiculous , mar'i is not ignoring you , you never even talk to her and jon is always so joyful so , she enjoys being with him" I explained but damian was just glaring at me

"Are you trying to support kent , father" he asked 

"of course not damian ,*sigh* so what do you want to do about " I asked him  

"Kryptonite" damian said with a smile

"No" I sternly answered 

"*sigh* Its alright father , sometimes you have to give up in life , but I'm happy you tried to help " damian said with a sad smile

" No , you are Damian Wayne , you are my son and I am not going to let my son give up on the person you truly love " I said

" But what will we do " he asked helpless

"hmm dick always come in handy in these moments " I said smiling

" but father , grayson is very possessive about mar'i why will he help me " damian asked

" you don't have to tell him who you love you just have to tell him your situation " I said 

" ok lets ask grayson , he has the answer to everything " damian said

" Not everything " I said as called dick and put the phone on speaker 

"Hello" dick said

" Grayson I need your help" damian said 

" with what dami " dick asked 

" with this girl " damian replied , it was indeed funny to listen to damian , never had I thought that he would be in love 

" aww dami likes someone, okay but what help do you need " dick asked 

" I like her but she likes someone else and_" damian tried explaining but dick interrupted

" Say no more dami I can understand what you feel "dick said , I wasn't very surprised  I knew dick would handle it

" hmm in moments like these I would suggest you... Kidnap her and take her to an abandon island " he said

" DICK " I screamed

" I know , don't get me wrong but , if she spends time with you alone , with no other human interaction then she will definitely fall in love with you cause there will be no one greater then you  " dick explained and it made sense so why not after all I would secretly provide them with all their needs    

" hmm okay grayson , good bye " damian said and kept the phone before dick could question us 

" so satisfied " I asked damian 

" No, grayson's idea will work , but what if kent comes in search of mar'i " damian asked still sad

" ok then you can use Kryptonite " I said 

" really !" damian exclaimed

" yes , but you can't stab jon with it , you are only allowed to throw it at him " I said

" ok , but what if grayson tries to stop me " damian asked 

" hmm , well it was always his idea " I said as damian chuckled

" In moments like this , most people say thank you , correct?" damian asked 

" yes thats correct " I said 

"uhh thank you father " damian said with a smile , and then he ran out of the room 

hmm if only the thought of mar'i being his has changed him so much , then I wonder what else will change when mar'i will truly be his .
