A few days later after the chapter 

Damian's pov

Recently mar'i started patrolling with us at Todd's request . I admire her even more now , though I'm not happy with her suit , its the kind of one I feel should be worn in the bedroom ,only in front of your husband , it was too revealing , but then again , she is from Tamaran and needs solar power , which is hard to get at night of course . 

" so all this time you were right there , so close to me and yet I never saw you " I said to avoid the awkward silence

" yes, but we not allowed to go to the opposite wing , so you can blame fate " she said , things just kept getting awkward  , I am sure if she were here with drake , they wouldn't faces this problem

"how many languages do you know " I asked not getting any other topic

" hmm....I don't know , English , Arabic , Japanese , French, Spanish, Russian, Hindi , Latin and Kryptonian " she said with her regular smile 

"you remember all these languages" i asked her dumbfounded , forgetting the fact that she was Tamaranean

"ya , I'm Tamaranean , I learned most of them through the act of kissing " she said calmly , not remembering who she is talking to , I stared at her and she seamed confused , but then realised the problem " I mean I didn't learn all the languages by just kissing random people , I learned ,English , Arabic and Kryptonian the normal pen and paper method , but the rest of them , I learned through the act of kissing " she said , just when I thought things couldn't get worse . I decided to stay quite for the rest of the night .

Time skip to the next night

It was 12pm and Mar'i was not yet home . Mar'i , todd and drake had gone to get groceries at 11:00 , currently it was 12:00 , I don't think it takes one hour to get groceries. I go to the batcomputer and track Mar'i , the tracker showed that Mar'i was with Todd and Drake , IN A BAR!!!. I knew I shouldn't have let Mar'i go with that alcoholic Todd , I take my car and quickly drive to the location , I didn't want anything to happen to my wife , we live in Gotham , the home of all criminals , I have to keep her safe even if she is a trained assassin , an alien hybrid and an ex inspector of GCPD , she is my wife , and its my responsibility to keep her safe .

I reach the Bar and I see a frail girl standing there , she wanted to move from there but the guy, who was most probably drunk, was blocking her , I got out of the car and got closer to that woman it was Mar'i . 

"for the third time sir, I have a husband , he is this tall *shows how tall damian is* , he is very , very attractive , he has green eyes and lips that I want to kiss all day " she described me and I blushed , its once in a blue moon that you get to hear such good things about your self from your wife , even if she is drunk

"oh , he looks exactly you " she said pointing at me 

"of course he does , Mar'i , I am your husband , Damian " I explained to her and side by side glared at that guy , who was clearly trying to take advantage of my drunk wife , soon enough he ran away leaving me alone with Mar'i 

"Husband Dami " she said as she leaned on me and hugged me , I hugged her back "I missed you " she said , I couldn't express the joy I felt at those words 

"what did you drink " I asked 

"water , but it was bitter , I asked uncle jay , why was it bitter but he was too busy with the girls and timmy got lost " she answered innocently 

"Todd , I am never going to send you with him and_" I said but she interrupted me     

" Husband Dami , 5 boys walked up to me in the bar , they said they would show me a good time , but I didn't go with them , I'm loyal husband Dami , you don't need to put a tracker on me " she said with a cute pout and gave me my tracker , it was surprising that she found it  

"Oh beloved , I trust you , the tracker is only for your protection " I said giving her the tacked " did they touch you ?" I asked

" who " she asked 

" those boys you were talking about " I said angrily , some people are about to die today 

" no , but one of them did " she said innocently

"who , where is he " I asked boiling in rage 

" I don't know where he is now , I slapped him and he didn't wake up " she said 

" did you knock him out or kill him  " I asked her 

" I'm not sure , but he was breathing I guess " she answered 

"ok , come on lets go home " I said , and walked to the car but she stood there 

" husband Dami , can you pick me" she asked , and walked to her picked her up bridal style ,and took her to my car , we then drove home 

Time skip to when they reached the manor 

I parked the car in the garage , and walked out but again Mar'i didn't move , she sat there with her innocently adorable pout 

"what's the matter beloved" I asked "do you want me to pick you again " and she looked at me with sparkling eyes 

"piggy back " she said and got out of the car , and I did as my wife commanded , I took her on my back and started walking to the manor to our room , on my way I met father

"whats the matter " he asked with a smile 

"hello there grandpa" Mar'i said 

" well you look extra joyful today " father said a little confused 

"todd got her drunk " i said with a glare 

"jason did what " father asked 

"Yes !!! I found her at the bar , he and drake seemed to busy with the girls " I said 

"No , husband dami , uncle jay was busy with the girls and timmy got lost " she corrected me 

"didn't you search for them " father asked 

" No , I was too bus_"I was saying but was interrupted by my beloved 

"Husband Dami , I'm tired , can go to bed , pleeeeeeeeaseeeeeee" she said and father chuckled

"you should go damian , we'll talk later " father said and I nodded 

"goodnight gandpa " mar'i said 

"goodnight Mar'i " father said in response 

Soon we reached the bedroom , I placed her on the bed 

"ok mar'i , I'll leave you get dressed " I told her 

"NO , I DON'T WANT TO CHANGE MY CLOTHES , I'M TOO TIRED " she said 

" you won't be comfortable to sleep in that tight clothes mar'i " I said 

"*sad* , *suddenly happy* can you change my clothes " she asked and I looked at her in shock 

"pleeeeeeaseeeeee " she said with puppy dog eyes , I can't refuse that 

a few minutes later 

After I had mar'i all dressed up , I went to the washroom and got dressed myself , and I went to my side of the bed to sleep 

"Husband dami " the cute voice of my beloved echoed 

"yes , my love " I asked 

"can you cuddle me " she asked ,

"I would be more than happy to " I said and held her close , her head on my chest , my arm around her waist . 

"I love you " I said 

"I love you too , husband dami " she said , I didn't want today to end , for I knew , I would never get too hear those words again , at least not if she is in her senses.
