Damian's pov 

I come into the batcave on my bike , and see mar'i , she was so lost in thoughts that she didn't notice until I walk up to her , she was looking at grayson's old robin suit

"He was a great mentor " I said , and she finally noticed me

" Yes , yes he was " she said still looking at the suit , we stood there in silence until

" I can never be like him " I said

" You don't have to Damian , you're a great vigilante , different but in a good way " she said with a smile I smiled back at her, I kept my katana on the table with all my other weapons and went to change into my civilian outfit

When I came back I saw mar'i admiring my katana

" you like knives " I asked

" Yes as long as its not a kitchen knife " she said

" do you know how to use it " I asked

" Yes , dad thought me how to use a katana and other weapons " she said

" Hand to hand combat ? " I asked

" dad thought me basic self defence , but I learned more during my police training " she said 

" want to go one round with me " I said 

" o..k" she said sceptical

" don't worry I won't go hard on you " I said going towards the centre of the batcave

" I don't think that's the problem " she said coming to the centre

Time skip of few minutes

Damian pov

I was on the ground with mar'i on top of me for the fifth time in a row , I can't believe I am losing to my wife

" What the , I don't think this is how 'couple fight' works " drake said entering the cave with two cups in his hand , mar'i got off me and stood up and so did I

" hand to hand combat " mar'i said

" o....k , here " drake said handing mar'i the coffee mug

" thanks " mar'i said taking it

" so how do you feel losing to your wife " drake asked as I just glared at him
and mar'i just giggled

" I enjoyed it " mar'i said

" Of course you enjoyed it you won every round " I said and she just smiled

" look at the bright side damian , now you know what will happen to you if you don't listen to your wife " drake said with a smile

Time skip to night 

Damian's pov

Mar'i had been bathing for long time now , I couldn't hear any splashes of water , I hope she hasn't fallen unconscious again . I quickly open the door only to see mar'i in her under garments jumping around , struggling to put on her hoodie

" Need some help " I asked

" uhh.... no....I can manage " she said still jumping around

" you sure about that " I smirked and leaned on the doorframe

" Yes " she said , after few more minutes of her childish struggles " ok , on seconds thoughts , please help me " she said

" ok " I said and helped

" thanks " she said after I was done , we stayed there staring at each other until *thud* something fell and mar'i jumped into my arms

" what was that " she asked

" I'm not sure but it came from the kitchen " I said , mar'i looked at me and then realised that I had picked her so she backed away from me and was blushing , I grabbed her hand and went down stairs to the kitchen to see who broke into our house . Mar'i switched on the light and it was Todd stealing one of Alfred's cookies.

" Hi Jason " mar'i said sweetly and I glared at him

" what are you doing " I asked angrily 

" can't you see I'm taking a cookie " Todd said

" well , taking a cookie in middle of the night when everyone is sleeping , sounds more like you're stealing a cookie " I said

"Night , I didn't know its night " Todd acted and mar'i giggled

" and besides not everyone is asleep , you two are awake and why are you two awake , huh ? doing something important " Todd asked smirking as I and mar'i blushed

" tt of course not , and we are going to bed " I said and grabbed mar'i's hand ready to go to bed

" what's the hurry demon spawn can't wait huh? " Todd asked and I only glared at him .

I got mar'i to the bed room and we slept peacefully ; without doing 'anything important ' .
