Damian's pov

It was the night before we left to go to Metropolis , I was worried for mar'i , she will be here alone , well alfred is going to be with her but then again we live in gotham . Over the few days I have realized that my wife is beyond beautiful , and in this two days that I won't be with her any thing can happen , I mean there are so many psychopaths out there.And the is if people come to know that the waynes are out for two days they can break into the manor to steal some thing but can end up stealing my wife. For that silly reason I wasn't able to sleep the entire night .

Time skip to next morning

it was 5:10 in the morning and I was all dressed up but my tie was missing ,and I was getting frustrated 

" mar'i have you seen my tie " I said angrily and a little loud , loud enough to wake the sleeping girl , she got up still very sleepy and looked at me confused 

"tie" I said , she got out of bed really droopy and walked to my cupboard , she is not going to find it there , for I have already searched there . I look at her walking to me with my tie in her hand.

"so now you are spying on me" I said in arabic , but she was still to sleepy to understand . 

she was yawning like a puppy , I'm not calling my wife a dog , I'm just saying how cute she is , so I kiss her forehead and smile , she smiled back and kissed my cheek 

" can I go to bed now " she said , I smiled and picked her up and placed her on the bed 

"goodbye beloved , be safe " I said 

"goodbye dami "  she said half asleep . well at least she was still sleepy , or I would never get a kiss from her . 

Time skip to when damian reaches Metropolis

Damian's pov 

we finally reached Metropolis but I still couldn't get my mind off mar'i , father must have noticed it 

" you know you can always call her and ask her how she's doing" father suggested 

"that's not my look out , why should I call her and who do you mean by 'her' , I am only worried for this business meeting nothing else " 

"firstly how many 'her's do you have , and bruce didn't ask you if you were worried for mar'i or not he just asked you to talk to her , and lastly when have you ever been worried for business meetings" todd said with a smirk 

I only glared at him.  

after the meeting was over I couldn't understand what I was feeling , I wanted to go home back, to mar'i and stay in our bed room , in silence , the silence that screamed how much I loved my wife. 

Wait was I missing mar'i , but why , we don't even talk to each other , but I still miss her. Ok thats it I am going to meet my wife . 

I changed into my robin costume and I went to my bike , and went towards gotham 

time skip to when robin reaches gotham 

Damian's pov

After I reach gotham I decide to spy on mar'i , what if she is cheating on me , oh please don't cheat on me , I trust mar'i and know she won't do any thing stupid , right?

as soon as I reach near the manor , I park the bike near a bush and jump over the wall and go the window only to see alfred cooking and mar'i sitting on the table top and talking to him , she seemed nicely dressed a little to nicely , hmmm I hope she is not going to cheat on me . She was wearing black skinny jeans and a black leather jacket

"ohh well its time I go alfred"she said looking at her watch 

" ok mistress , come home soon and do well" alfred said with a smile 

"I'm going to the bar alfred not to the opera " she said with a smile and alfred smiled back 

bar , she is going to the bar and alfred is so proud , I am not pleased with mar'i's behavior , but then again she is my wife I have to save if she gets into any trouble. I start following her from the dark to make sure she doesn't see me , after following her for sometime she walks into a bar so I walk to a window to spy on her .

to my surprise she doesn't talk to anyone she just sat in one corner and drinks  some think , which I guess is water cause she seems in her senses after a lot more of waiting mar'i gets up and walks toward the stage and sits on the of  the drum set . she plays drums , well thats new .

so she can sing as well how come am I not aware of this . 

time skip to the time for mar'i to leave 

I see mar'i walking out of the bar its very late I am going to wait until she reaches the manor , after all gotham streets aren't the place for women to walk during the night , and besides its my responsibility .

As she walked for a while and I followed her from the roof tops , I couldn't help to realize what a terrible husband I am , I don't know a thing about my wife ,  even drake knows more than me . While I was thinking all this , I saw a group of three men walking near mar'i and circling her , with one of them in front of her and two behind her . Mar'i stops and looks around .

" woman give me all your money and everything" one of them said  

" hmmm why don't we take her instead " another one said as they all smiled evilly , I was filled with rage but before I could do anything , mar'i stepped on the foot of the guy standing behind her and elbowed him in the stomach , then she punched the guy in front of her , and she only glared at the third burglar , who looked at his friends and then ran away . While I just stood there on the top of the roof as a proud husband.

Mar'i begin to walk back to the manor , after reaching there she pulls out the keys from her pocket and opens the door . I walk to the window of my room so I can see what mar'i is doing.

She walked into the bathroom and came out in her purple color top and blue color shorts , and climbed into the bed , she was facing my side of the bed and she seemed sad . 

Looks like I'm not the only one missing my wife ,

" I'm coming beloved " I whispered and then left for Metropolis
