Damian's pov

we were all waiting for mar'i in the dining room since she was taking a lot of time , but she wasn't the only one even father was taking a lot of time .

"I'm ready " mar'i said 

wow 

she looked amazing , we were all shocked we couldn't say a word , and I guess we were staring 

"Hello" mar'i said breaking our stare , then father came into the room fixing his tie he too was mesmerized but mar'i's beauty  

"wow you look beautiful mar'i"  he said 

" thank you " mar'i said with her angelic smile 

"ok let's go we'll be late" father said 

time skip to the gala 

Damian's pov

we reach the gala's entrance and saw the crowd of reporters it was like a fish market everyone was screaming something  or the other 

we all walked out of the limo first , father then todd the drake , I was next and the mar'i , but when mar'i walked out there was silence I guess all the reporters were shocked too see mar'i's dress but I was wrong the reporters were shocked to see mar'i herself and considered themselves lucky 

"mar'i grayson where have you been " all  the reporters questioned altogether making a lot of noise we couldn't hear their questions so we all decided to ignore them but most of those questions were for mar'i 

"why are you here with the waynes" one of the reporters asked but we still didn't answer finally we reached the huge doors 

" there you both are " my fathers friend lawrence said 

"I realized it was you it was you when I heard the crowd scream " he said to mar'i 

"by the way this is my friend Bruce and bruce this is mar'i , my best model , and look the dress has got its shine back because of you " he said 

"I suppose you are not aware off mar'i being my daughterinlaw " father said with pride

"ohh wow that's amazing I guess she married Timothy " he said 

this was the time I felt like stabbing him to death

"I wish" drake  said under his breath 

"no she is married to damian " father said looking at me with a smile because knew how angry I was 

" sir there are some people who you should meet " lawrence's secretary said 

" ohh well it was a great talk do enjoy the party " lawrence said and walked away
