Mar'i's pov

I woke up at 6:30 , got dressed in the washroom and made my way to the grave yard to dad's grave , I was just heading to the manor when , a black car stopped next to me , and out came Lawrence Wordsworth , my old friend , boss , designer during my time as a model

"Mar'i my dear daughter" he said and hugged me , he is a father figure

"Hello Mr Lawrence" I said with a smile 

"where are you now a days I can't find where you live " he said in his usual accent

"never mind I just wanted to tell you that I am hosting a gala at my manor and you are invited and this is your gown and you will wear this and only this " he said in a hurry 

"Lawrence I really can't _"

"No no you have to come , at least come for your old friend , oh and please come so that you can give me your adress    bye " he said running to his car, as I saw a crowd of fans running behind the car 

Time skip back to the Wayne manor 

I come to the room and see damian still asleep since it's only 6:50 and he wakes up at 7:00 , so I make my way to the washroom and change into my gym clothes and walk to the gym 

Time skip of few minutes till damian wakes up

Damian's pov

I wake up and don't find mar'i so I walk to the gym to see , Mar'i and Drake. Drake trying to impress mar'i but she wasn't very impressed by him but always smiled at his dumbness

" Ok Mar'i pass me 7 Kg dumbbell" he said Mar'i smiled and picked the with no difficulty and handed it to drake but drake couldn't hold it an for a sec and dropped it , making me and mar'i laugh 

"what are you laughing at it's not like you can hold it " breathless drake said , I just smirked and picked the dumbbell with no trouble 

Drake was shocked , mar'i was unimpressed but smiled sweetly I was about to drop the dumbbell but thankfully Mar'i caught it , now I was impressed

" Well like husband , like wife " drake commented , making me and mar'i blush 

" Bruce is looking for you guys "Todd said standing near the door 

we all leave to meet father in the living room , father had a envelop in his hand 

"oh good you all are here I just got an invitation from my old friend and he has invited the entire family , that means you to mar'i " father said with a smile 

"does your friend happen to be Lawrence Wordsworth" she asked

"yes "  father answered

"well he happens to be an old friend of mine and has invited me as well" she said with a smile we all look at her with shock 

"uhhh and he has sent me a dress to ware at the gala" she said trying break the awkward silence. she then got a call from jon I guess and left the room

"wow your wife is famous" drake 

I just nodded too shocked to say anything
