Two years since that painful day and it still haunts you. You hate it.

The two years were like an emotional rollercoaster; you went though pain, sorrow, self doubt, grief and anger.
You looked at the mirror with a confident face holding your sword that was placed onto your hip.

You were one of the few who passed the entrance exam...others unfortunately not, however you were glad that your friend, f/n,  made it.
"Y/n! We have a mission!", she exclaimed.
"Hmm?", you faced her direction and saw her running towards you.

It was now dark and no one was on the streets.
"What did the report say?", you asked in a quiet voice.
"A demon has been seen here on multiple occasions however it seems to disappear
When confronted", she answered," it has also killed over 15 people".
You both heard a noice behind and quickly turned around.
"Watch ou-", you were thrown towards a wall and your friend was being held by a demon.
"Y/n! It's fine just kill it...I-I'll be fine!", she desperately tried to escape but the strength of the demon was overwhelming.
You positioned yourself.

You charged towards the demon with incredible speed however wasn't able to cut deep.
"Damm it I can't fully strike it with f/n being held", you were irritated and thought hard about what you were going to do.
"Y/n I'll be fine! Just attack it with all you've got don't worry about me!", she exclaimed struggling to breath.
"Alright....", you took in a deep breath.

You again attacked the demon but it avoided the attack, f/n was now almost out of breath.
"Let her go!", you shouted.
The demon looked at you with a evil grin.
"Oh you mean this one? Oh no no no, she's a tasty one".
"Fight me!", you commanded," or are you too weak!".
This pissed the demon off and he let go of your friend, she was unconscious.
You took a fighting stance and the demon leaped towards you.
You were able to dodge this but it was faster than you expected, the dodges you made were all successful but barely.

By now you were getting a bit tired from the blocking against the immense strength the demon had and you were thrown at a tree, you coughed up blood from the impact and stood up slowly.
"Come on die!" The demon stated before running at you.
At this moment you thought you going to die, this was the end.
You closed your eyes and waited for the impact...but nothing.
You slowly opened your eyes and saw that the demon's head was cut off, you widened your eyes to see the man in front of you was your ex, Giyu.
"Giyu?", you questioned in surprise.
He turned around but before you could say anything you fell unconscious.

You were awoken by the sound of birds and the calm trees dancing to the wind,
You rubbed your head that was still aching.

That Impact was hard.

you tried to stand up but failed and instead fell.
"You shouldn't be moving", you heard a familiar yet cold voice say.
The man was sitting against the corner of the room behind you.
"Giyu?", you remembered what happened before you fell unconscious.
Your ex saved you.
"Where am I?", you asked bluntly.
"At my house" he responded with an emotionless look.
"Ugh, I have to go", you again attempted to stand but it was no use your bones in your legs were broken.
"Hey...don't move", he sternly said." I don't want to repeat myself".
"And why would you care?", you coldly glared at him," after all the last two years you didn't bother at all".
He didn't respond and stood up," get some rest".

You were left there, anger flowing through you.
"Why now? Why out of all the people him?", tears swelled up in your eyes," after the past two dreadful years of my life he appears like nothing happened, like everything is fine...god dammit...that bastard doesn't even know the amount of pain I've been through", you griped the sheet of the futon and threw the pillow at the wall in anger.

Timeskip

It had been a week since you were taken in by Giyu and the both of you haven't spoken since you were here.
"Y/n!", your friend smiled and spun you around.
"H-hey!", you exclaimed in shock.
"Sorry I got a bit too excited".
"No that's fine but why are you so happy?"
"Well....I might not or might have a lil crush on that water boy".

"T-that's great", you smiled at her.
"What should I do?", she asked.
"Umm tell him?", you hesitantly replied.

"That sounds like a logical thing to do...hmm I'll think about that", she thanked you and walked away happily.

It was evening an the sun was about to go down and you heard your friend's voice and Giyu's. Curious you placed your ear against the door.

"A-at least for a day! Maybe a date so I can prove-"

You heard footsteps coming closer so you hid and the door swung open with your friend ready eyed and running.

You wanted to run after her but couldn't or else Giyu would see you.
"I know you're there y/n", Giyu said.
You slowly came out of your hiding and stood in front of him.
"Couldn't you been nice?", you harshly said.
"I was", he sighed.
"Well it doesn't seem like it", you rolled your eyes," you're always like this"
"Like what?", he asked.
"Always cold hearted and brutal", your voice raised a bit," why can't you be nice?".
You could feel your eyes fighting back the pathway of the tears and your voice shaking.
Giyu stood up and placed his both his hands in your cheeks, lifting your face uphold to him.
"I'm sorry", he leaned in and gave a small peck on the lips," It's my fault,isn't it".
You were speechless and frozen.
"G-giyu?"
He swiftly picked you up bridal style and led you to his room.
"H-hey what are you doing?"
He placed you on a futon gently and pushed you so you were against the ground and he was above.
"I'll make it up to you", he whispered before kissing you passionately.
You were reluctant at first feeling guilty about your friend, but gave in because you still did love him.
He then removed your clothing one by one slowly whilst giving you love bites everywhere.
You were left laying naked and cold.
