You were able to make it back just in time before the sun set, as you walked towards the sliding doors you heard a familiar and rough voice, "Oi y/n!".
You turned around and saw the wind pillar, sanemi, and rolled your eyes annoyed.

"What?", you crossed your arms and gave him straight face.
He responded," So where were you?", he asked in a curious yet mocking tone.
"It's none of your business.", you blatantly said," just leave me alone Sanemi".
He hummed a tune and walked closer to you," aww is the little weak y/n trying to run away?", he gave another grin and that made you lose it.

"Look You moron, I'm not in the mood to endure your bullshit neither you mocking me!", you shouted at him in anger which made him widen his eyes.
He clicked his tongue," well then you better get used to it then", he darkly said and walked away," bye bitch", he exclaimed.
You rolled your eyes and swiftly went into your room and plopped yourself on your fluffy futon.
You felt your eyes slowing giving up on you and you slowly drifted to sleep

You woke up with tears streaming down your face

You got up groggily and cleaned yourself up, you put on your haori which was y/c with a star on the back of it. Yes, you are a pillar and just a newly announced pillar too, the psychic pillar, your forms allowed you to not only be able to kill your enemies but too also create illusions that seemed far too real.
However, you still needed to work on your skills as sometimes you can't control them so it effects some of your teammates too, that's why you decided to go solo on missions it was better this way.

You yawned and looked at yourself in the mirror your h/l  h/c  glistened against the sunlight and thought:

As you got your sword to take with you, your door slid open.

"Y/n, good morning", you heard a soft and tender voice.
"Mitsuri", you said in relief.
"Meeting started five minutes ago and we're all waiting for you", she informed you in a polite manner," and oyakata-sama is there", you quickly rushed outside into the hallway and into the meeting slamming the door to the side.

He looked at you with reassuring gesture," no it's completely fine y/n I understand, especially after last night".
You were confused and then it clicked

"I'm sorry for making a fuss last night I wasn't in a good mood", you bowed down and sat in your seat whilst you noticed Sanemi in the corner smirking with delight.

That son of a-

"Demon! Demon at the east rural village it is in a cave for shelter and has considerable power!", the bird informed us all and you stood up.

"I'll go and slay it.", you said and was about to go ahead.
"No, I'll come with you", a hand grabbed you and it was Kyojuro.
"No. I'm going by myself.", you firmly stated and he let go of your hand.

Timeskippppp

You were in a forest and you were determined to slay the demon that was rampaging the village, until you heard cries?
You quietly walked towards the source of sound thinking it was the demon and slowly the sound became louder.
"Hmm?", as you peaked through a bush you saw three young boys.

One had burgundy hair with long earrings, one with a boar mask and dual swords and another on the ground with bright yellow hair.

"Hey!", you called out and walked towards them in annoyance.

"What are you guys-", your eyes widened, your heart pounded, your breathing started to be sharp, your eyes widened.

"Z-Zenitsu?", your voice strained," is that...really you?", your eyes started to tear up and like a faucet let out all your pain you've been keeping in for the past five years.

He also recognised you and was in the same state of shock. You ran up to him and stopped in front of him.

"I missed you.", that's what you could say.
He held your shoulders softly and smiled at you.
"I missed you too", he buried his face against your shoulders and cried," god I missed you so much".
"I know Zenitsu, I know and I'm sorry", you said profusely.
"No it's fine," he looked at you with the same glee of happiness he would always show you," now I have you by my side again I'll always be with you and never leave your side!", he exclaimed.
"Umm are you a pillar?", the boy with the burgundy hair asked shyly.
"Umm yes", you replied.
"FIGHT ME!", you jumped from the sudden volume and changed your attention to the boar masked man.
"Umm, excuse me?", you said in a confused manner.
Smoke came out of the nostrils of the mask," I said...FIGHT ME!", he exclaimed and charged at you.
"Y/n!", Zenitsu grabbed you quickly and put you into his chest.
*bump*
The both of you hit against the ground and the boar masked man has his arms restricted by the burgundy haired boy.
"Ouch", you rubbed your arm from the slight pain.
"Are you alright?", Zenitsu asked worried and you responded with a nod.

"INOSUKE!", Zenitsu shouted at him.

You giggled and smiled, thinking about the past.

"You are my hero"
