SET IN MODERN TIME

"Please give me another chance to prove my love"

It was yours and your husband's anniversary and the both of you were still at work.

"I wish you the best day y/n!", Mitsuri exclaimed whilst smiling.
"Thank you", you responded shyly.
"Ah, can't believe it has already been a year since you and Giyu married", Kyojuro added one.
"Hopefully he'll do something flamboyant...however knowing Giyu that guy is dull", Uzui sighed in disappointment.
"I agree", Obanai nodded
"Obanai you're not meant to agree", Mitsuri tugged onto his arm and furrowed her eyebrows.
Obanai seemed to get flustered and apologised.
"N-no I understand after all Giyu is quite a kept to himself kind of guy" , you sighed and gave a reassuring smile," I have to go now or else I might be late for the anniversary!", you waved at them and quickly went home.

You arrived home a bit too excited and as soon as you opened the door you yelled out:
"Giyu!"
A head poked out from the kitchen and there he was your husband, standing there with a blank face.
"Yes?", he questioned.
"Come on get ready!", you hurried him by pulling his arm.
"A-ah yeah sure", he responded and went to get ready.

I can't wait!

Both you and Giyu got ready for the night out and the two of you agreed to go to an amusement park, after all rides were your favourite and even though Giyu doesn't seem to be fond of them he agreed.

"How do I like?", you asked.
You were wearing a black long pleated skirt with a beige turtle neck and a long dark coloured jacket with a black cross body bag.
Giyu blushed," y-yes you look pretty".
You beamed a smile," I'm glad".

The two of you arrived at the amusement park and your eyes sparkled with joy.
"So many things to do!"
"Which one do you want to go on first?", Giyu asked.
"Hmm...that one!", you pointed towards a red rollercoaster and Giyu gulped.
"Hey are you fine?", you asked him.
He nodded but he was clearly not.
"Could it be...you're scared of rides?", you teasingly said whilst nudging him.
He turned red," n-no", he responded," I just don't like rides".
"Oh really?", you leaned closer towards him," are you sure?", you grinned and he pushed you away a bit.
"Y-yeah...that's all".
"Hmm ok then...but I still think you're scared of rides!", you said giggling.
"Whatever then", he sighed and the both of you boarded the ride.

It had been a couple of hours and the both of you went on every single ride there was apart from one.
The Ferris wheel.
"Lets go on the last one",you said.
"Sure".
The view was beautiful and you could see the whole town, the vibrant colours mesmerising and the sound of the fireworks going up into the air to reveal their own.

"It's beautiful isn't it?", you said whilst staring out onto the sky.
"Yes it is",he responded," but not much as you".
He murmured the last bit but you heard it.
You smiled towards him and gave a soft peck on the lips,"thank you", you said.
He also smiled and hugged you close.
"I love you Giyu".

The ride had ended the two of you decided to go home however you had to go to the bathroom and went. However when returning you saw another figure, quite petite next to your husband and they seemed to be talking.

Who's she?

You quietly hid behind a wall looking if they were going to do anything.
Then the girl leaned in towards his face. Your face froze. Your heart broke in pieces.

The girl kissed him on the lips.

You felt tears pouring out of your eyes and from the corner of Giyu's eyes he saw you and his eyes widened.
"Y/n!", he shouted.
You ran. And ran.
Your mind was foggy and filled with confusion.

Did he cheat on me?

Whilst running your mind was racing with questions: who is she? How long have they been out? Does he not like me? Does he not love me?

Then bam.

You were on the side of the road crimson liquid dripping from your pitiful body, you didn't bother to try to stay alive. After all what was the point?
Tears fell from your e/c eyes and you just payed there whilst people around you were panicking and checking on you.

"Y/n!", you heard a familiar voice cry out.
"Giyu..", you weakly said.
He held your body against his and cried
"No no no don't die on me", he desperately said," it wasn't what it seemed to be!"
He frantically shouted for help and someone to call and ambulance.
"Giyu"
"It's not what it seems to be...y/n I mean it,I'm sorry I'm so sorry please don't leave me...not you...I only have you", he sobbed loudly and you gently cupped his face with all the strength you had left.
"It's ok Giyu...I trust you and I love you".
Your vision became blurry and the sounds become harder to make out what was being said and then darkness filled your vision.

"Y/n!"

You woke up and noticed that you were in an unfamiliar room,
"A hospital?", you questioned and looked around to see that you were in a bed and in critical health.
Your whole body aches to the point to even move an arm was agony.
The door opened and you widened your eyes.
"Giy-"
Giyu quickly wrapped his arms around you and burrowed his face in the crook of your neck and sobbed.
"I thought I lost you", he said in between heavy breathings.
You patted his head," well it's fine now", you comforted him and stroked his hair.
He pulled away and his face was dull...more dull then it usually was and his eyes puffy and swollen.
You felt bad.
"Y-you forgive me right?", he asked with a broken voice," It it wasn't me who kissed her I didn't want to kiss her it's just that she suddenly did and I just was shocked I'm telling the truth and I honestly don't like her she's just a colleague from work I swear-"

"Giyu"

He stopped and stared.
"It's fine...I understand", you responded and held his hands," it wasn't your fault".
He could feel himself getting emotional again and cried loudly.
"I'm so sorry y/n I love you I truly love you and I wouldn't do anything to hurt you", he held you close to him.
You smiled.
"It's fine Giyu", you caressed his cheeks.
"Thank you so much y/n"
"I love you"
"I love you too y/n"

This one is a meh for me and I honestly think I could've done better but I had to shorten it down a lot because of how long it was.
