The time flew by and now you're 20 almost 21. It has been almost six years since you've seen that white-haired boy and to be honest, you miss him. A lot.

"Well I guess I gotta continue doing work!", you spoke to yourself with a cheery tone and went back inside your flower shop.
It was a small shop however people from every corners of Japan, even overseas, would buy flowers from your shop since the flowers had the most prominent smell and vibrant colors.
You wore your apron and tied your hair into a low loose bun.

It's a beautiful day,
you thought and hummed whilst putting flowers into bouquets.
Ring!
A customer came in and you welcomed them with a pleasant smile,"welcome to my shop", you bowed down.

You continued to greet customers and satisfy their orders until the sun started to set.

I should go back home

You closed your shop in a hurry and wore a warm jacket, then set off to home.
It was getting darker and you became more worried and anxious since you've heard about mysterious creatures lurking at night waiting to eat their next victim, you gulped at the thought and tried to shake the thought off your mind.
At the corner of your eyes you saw a puppy on the street huddling on the side of a cold building,"hey, are you alone?", you crouched down and gave a warm smile.
The puppy's eyes lit up and wagged its tail, then went up towards you with glee.
You smiled," Come with me then", you gently lifted the puppy and covered it with your jacket keeping it warm.
You continued to make your way through the quiet and barren streets when a figure appeared, confused you asked what they were doing.
It didn't respond.

"Umm sir are you fine?", you asked with a worried tone.
The puppy started to whimper out of no reason so you tried to comfort the poor thing.
However, the figure took its chance and leaped towards you. In panic you quickly ran in fear.

What was that?

It wasn't any normal human being humanoid? No no no, it was definitely one of those creatures the townspeople spoke of. Demons.
Your heartbeat went faster from the realization and your breathing became irregular.
Was this how you were going to die? You still wanted to see him again.
A sharp claw slashed your back and you screamed in pain, falling onto the floor.
You looked behind and there it was, the demon looking down at you with desire to consume.
"S-someone please help", you pleaded.
It laughed.
"Do you really think anyone is coming for you?", it came closer," you must be some stupid girl to think of that", with that it scratched you again and you screamed in agony again, it grinned seemingly enjoying your pain.
Then a sudden pain like no other came upon you...but you couldn't scream no matter how much you wanted to it felt like you were being suffocated.
Looking towards your shoulder it was bleeding profusely, it bit a chunk out of your shoulder.
"A marechi...", it whispered and then laughed out loud," today is my lucky day!".
Before it could consume you a white street of light went across its neck.
It froze for a second, eyes wide open and then the head fell off.

You were paralyzed and could sense your eyes starting to give up.
"Y/n?"

What a familiar voice
You then fell unconscious.

You suddenly woke up and in panic; you were breathing heavily and your whole body sweating.
"Finally you're awake", you turned to face the familiar voice and immediately tears welled up in your eyes.
"N-nemi?",you weakly said," is that you?".
The familiar man knelt down holding your hands tightly," yes", he responded," and I'm back".
You hugged him tightly and sobbed into his chest, he stroked your hair and repeatedly said 'I'm sorry' over and over.
"Where have you been?", you asked a bit more calmed down.
There was a moment of pause before he spoke," I became a Demon slayer", he said," and I'm now a pillar".
You stared at him in confusion.
"I basically kill demons...and I have for the past six years"
"Oh...", that was all you could think of replying.
He then sat down in front of you,"so how about you?", he asked.
"I've opened a flower shop and it's been running for the past four years".

He nodded his head," that suits you well".
You blushed." O-oh thank you".
He then came closer towards your face," you still remember...that promise?", his warm breath hit your face.
"Y-yes..."
He came further closer and now we're inches apart." Well I would like to fulfill that promise", his voice was deep and husky almost alluring.
"Sure...", you shyly responded.
He chuckled a little before kissing your plump lips softly.
"I'm glad"
He then stood up," well, as soon as you've healed lets go together", he grinned.
You nodded in response, still in a trance from the previous action.
You then heard the door close, he left.

BONUS!

"Nemi!", you called out in excitement.
"Huh?"
You ran towards him and jumped onto him, he caught you and spun you around.
"Excited I see", he chuckled at your cuteness.
"Yep!"
He held your hand and gave a peck on the forehead,"lets go then, love".
Your face became flustered and you shyly also kissed his cheek,"y-yeah let's go"
"You're so cute when flustered", he laughed and gave out a long breathe," I'm happy that we're now together and I can fulfill that promise".
You hummed in response.
"Hey can we also make another one?"
"Sure"
"Let's get married"
"Eh!?"
