"Have you ever had the feeling you have been stalked?" I asked Iu, who walked along the street beside me. Every once in a while we earned odd glances from people.

"I can shape shift at will, does that answer your question?"

"How convenient. But can you try to blend into the crowd a little bit?"

"If I change now, we would only attract more attention."

"Guess you're right, and why do you appear this way?"

"Because I choose to."

"What an arbitrary demon we have here."

"Is this coming from a psychopath?"

"Whatever. Just wondering do you have any special powers that can like... teleport?"

"Teleport..." she rolled the word on her tongue. "As in travelling through space instantly?"

"Something like that."

"No."

"Are all demons like you?"

"I always thought human are annoying, but this one in particular is more annoying than the rest." Iu said giving me an annoyed look.

"I will take that as a compliment."

"A zealous soul such as yours will face a zealous end." Iu said, changing the topic so sudden it was like a slap to the face.

"How can you be so sure...wait you can see the future?"

"...Very vaguely."

"That's very interesting. Which raises another question, can you see your own death?"

"No, my vision at most will only extend to few weeks. Any further than that, the future becomes pitch black to me."

"And what happens if you see your own death?"

"Death is very different for demons then human."

"Then what is it like for demons?"

"..."

"Fine, I bet it's boring anyways."

Silence walked between us. And after what felt like an eternity I spoke up:

"We should catch the bus; it would be much faster if we use transportation to get out of here."

"I was waiting for your decision the whole time."

"My bad." We went around and asked the locals in English, for the bus stations that can take us further south. Their English wasn't as good as mine, but it was comprehensible. We thanked them and begin we begin to walk towards our designated bus stop.

"You got friends here." Iu said pointing to a hooded figure standing among the crowd.

"I don't have any friends..." I paused, "Oh I see what you mean."

The hooded figure seemed suspicious enough form a distance as it scanned around looking for something...me. And it actions reminds me so much of a... entourage. Then I made a mistake by making eye contact. Even though it was for a very brief moment, we both already knew each other's identity off the top of our head.

"Iu, there is a Chinese tactic called: let's get the hell out of here." I said. At the same moment, a random bus pulled up by the bus stop without further communication I grabbed Iu by the wrist and pulled it into the bus.

"This is not the right bus." Iu responded.

"I know...did it follow us?" I asked.

"Normally I could sense the presence life. But something is different about this one. It's not natural."

"Not natural for sure, I thought they were exclusively on Calypso Island."

"Interesting. What exactly are they?"

"More flesh than machine, but more mechanical than a robot."

"A robot, as in automaton?"

"Yes, but not quite. They have the ability to process any sort of logic, but fail to even understand even the simplest of emotion. Metaphorically it's like a math genius who doesn't know his alphabet."

"Interesting. I would like to see one close up."

"Trust me you don't want to. They wo..." the bus stopped so suddenly I almost bit my tongue. I swore loudly and rouse from my seat to see what was the fuss was about. As soon as I saw my blood froze. The hooded entourage stood in the middle of the road. The bus driver came off the bus and yelled something in angry Portuguese, but the entourage just stood there. The driver tried to shove the entourage away, but instead he was swatted to the side, way out of the picture. There was a collective gasp among the passengers that included me. The entourage took off the hood and revealed itself. For moment I couldn't breathe properly, her beauty could not be described but reminded me of Venus, the Roman goddess of love. Her long pony tail was the color or milky white and creamy pink and the color seemed to alternate under the different angle of light. Her eyes are like beautiful sapphires encrusted into eye sockets. She wore a jumpsuit that only existed in sci-fi movies and Calypso. But I had to remind myself, it was an entourage not a real person. If it was a real person I would have been the one chasing it halfway across the world. Anyhow it moved onto the front of the bus and began tilting the bus little by little. At first I didn't quite understand what it was trying to do then soon realize it is trying to capsize the entire bus.

Endanger all the civilians just to kill me? Am I really that important?

"Change of plan we are getting out of here now." I said as I came up with an escape plan at the very same time.

"Very well, how?"

"Let's get onto the ceiling first." I said opening the ceiling hatch. The space was tight but I managed to pull myself up.

"Hold onto my hand!" I offered a hand and Iu took it with a frown. By the time I pulled Iu onto the ceiling the entire bus was on the verge of flipping over.

"Very well, what now?

"See that truck coming up?" I pointed.

"It's full of pigs."

"That too, but its heading in the opposite direction."

"I still don't..."Iu seemed to get my plan that moment, "you are insane."

"Sometimes you just got to do whatever it takes to live." I replied with a grin.

"You are absolutely out of your mind."

"I will take that as another compliment." I let the compliment sink it. "On the count of 3 we are going to jump."

"..." Iu stared at me, clearly not liking the idea.

"3...2...1...now!" We jumped. And we landed with a soft crunch. And I stood up slowly and found myself in the midst of a bunch of pigs.

A second sooner I would have been road kill, a second too late I would become road kill of the next car.

I looked around for a moment I realized Iu was nowhere to be seen.

Poor demon probably became road kill...

"I am right behind you, are you blind?"

"Thank goodness you are still alive. Or who else would keep me entertained with life threatening danger?"

"I am sure it would be more entertaining if you died."

"For you it probably would, not for me though." I stood up so I could take in a breath of less filtered pig filth.

"Well it seems the entertainment hasn't ended yet." I looked back and saw what Iu meant. That particular entourage was chasing us on foot with amazing speed, and in just a few moment it would catch up to us.

"Well looks like we have to jump again."

"Very well. I hope you die."

I was unable to help as my lips curved into a wicked grin.

"Why did you have to say that? Because we are jumping off a bridge!" I replied in a sarcastic tone.

"This is absolutely madness."

"I never thought I would be told that by a demon. But by whatever means, we should be making the jump just about...now!" as I grabbed her wrist as we both plunged into the open air. I looked down and expected a short drop into a soothing river. But I was wrong, it was about a skyscraper drop into the churning rapids below. For a moment I thought Iu's ability would slow down the gravity of the fall, but I was wrong as we both dropped like anvils.

Next thing I know, my entire world was surrounded by water, the feeling is like being caught in a washing machine while upside down. A brief moment later, I felt an invisible force tugging at the back of my collar as I was picked up and tossed onto solid ground. And once on solid ground I felt like coughing out enough water to make a whole God damn swimming pool.

"Humans." Iu sneered, who's dress remained completely dry.

I was just about to come up with a really good come back if it weren't for the fact my stomach felt like being flipped inside out...on that thought I turned away and emptied my contents, it wasn't a pretty sight.

"Very well, human. What is your next decision?" Iu said with disgust.

"I..." I sneezed right onto Iu miniature black dress shoes, which earned me an evil eye.

"Change my mind, let's find a kind-hearted person we can steal from." I suggested.

"Such devoid of gratitude. You disgust me more."

"Another thing I never expected to hear from a demon. There is only one iron rule in this world, and it called unfairness. Never broken, and never will be."

"Humans." I could almost taste the venom in its voice.

"I was about to give you another piece of my mind, if it weren't for the fact I am going to catch a god damn cold."

"I see it."

"See what?"

"A charity house, about a 2 hour walk from here. We can rest there."

"How do you kn-...almost forgot you are a demon. Well, what the hell are we waiting for then? Let's go!"

Talked to a demon, almost killed by an entourage...What's next?
