Between me and Iu, there was an equal look of shock on our faces.

"Psy...o..." she said again. Realizing what was going on I seized the opportunity to speak:

"Yes, that's right. Me, Sol." I point both hands on my chest.

"S...o..." she said facing towards me.

"Good job! This is useless demon." I pointed towards Iu. And I immediately felt the bones in my arm snap. I whelped and the bones started to knit again.

"I, Iu." Iu said.

"I..." Iris pronounced.

"I, Iu." Iu repeated.

"Go easy on her." I said, which earned me an evil glare.

"I, Iu." As Iu continued to ignore me.

"I..." Iris pronounced the same exact way as last time.

"You, Iris." I pointed at Iris.

"I...I...r..."

"Good! You are so close!" I was literally kneeing besides her cheering.

"I, I...s..."

"Come on! You can do this!"

"..." Iu just watched coldly out from the corner of my eye.

"I, I...s..."

"I BELIEVE IN YOU!" I was literally clutching her hand, which was much tenderer and smooth then any human skin. The touch alone was enough to fuzzy my head.

"I...rr...s"

"YOU DID IT! YOU DID IT!" I literally hugged her and I surprisgly she didn't push me away and beat the shit out of me like the last time we made contact. And after a few seconds of contact, I began to slowly pull away, with Iris staring back at me blankly.

Hopefully later on, she doesn't remember me taking advantage of her, and knock my head off for it...

Slowly, I turned to Iu and asked:

"Previously you said you could see the future, then tell me what is the furthest future you can see?"

"..." Iu closed its eyes and began to meditate silently, then all of a sudden her eyes flew open, which even gave me quite a scare.

"Someone is after us, and is heading towards us fast."

"Is it authorities or is it the cult?"

"...I don't know for sure, but the encounter is inevitable and it would be in a day."

"Is the result absolute?"

"...No, not entirely. Small changes won't affect it, but major turn of events could change the outcome."

"How long can we avoid it as best?"

"3 days and that's only if we head north."

"Do you think we would be able to defeat whatever it is?"

"..."

"Alright we are moving north then."

"Is that your decision?"

"Yes, yes indeed. Oh and look the rain stopped." I said getting up.

"Very well, north is that direction." Iu said following me

"You are finally some use, useless demon."

Iu shot me a look so I quickly added:

"Take it as a compliment; it will make your life easier."

"Keep your compliments to yourself psycho." Iu said, as she took the lead and the rest of simply followed. And even though I had no idea where we are heading, I couldn't give less than two shits, cause I am happy. And that's all what matters for now.
