Robin's POV

"You are crazy!" I whisper yell at Raven so we don't attract attention and she shakes her head

"I'm not, I'll get captured giving you around five minutes to change into your suit then you come look for me and it'll be all good" Raven says and I look at her not so sure

"Raven I know you are an assassin and all but this is joker and you are just a normal girl as far as everyone else knows, joker can kill you" I say and she sighs

"Look he won't kill me, you'll save me before he does now let's go before my army come in and kill everyone, we only have an hour" she says and I nod.

"Fine just don't die" I say and she smiles as nods looking back at me

"Please, I'm granddaughter of Ra's Al Ghul, I can take a beating" she says then walks in and I follow but keep a good distance behind her.

Raven looks at me and sticks her thumb up then runs out into the corridor where two goons are and where my locker is and she runs past me and I stay close to the wall.

"Hey come back here!" A goon shouts and the other follows with a tracker and I run to my locker taking out my Robin suit and I take off a small tracker joker must have put on yesterday when I was at the warehouse fighting him and Harley.

I put the tracker in the trash after destroying it and I quickly change into my Robin suit and climb into the air vent and head to the one place Joker will be keeping the hostages, the gym hall.

Raven's POV

I run past Dick and hear a goon yell at me but I can't make out the words he is saying. I look back at them and see Robin sneak into an air vent and the goons are catching up but only ever so slightly. All I need to do is chase them away from Robin and get captured.

I run around a corner and 'accidentally' run into a goon and fall over. I'm picked up and the two goons behind me catch up and they all look at me, "what do we do with this one?" One goon asks

"I dunno but she's a pest, we should give her to mistah J" please don't give me to him...

"Nah, lets just put her with the others" thank god!

I'm then pushed beside 8 other students in a line who all look terrified, one of them is Rachel.

The double doors then open and a Joker walks in, he looks like something you'd see in your nightmares. I feel small goosebumps on my arms and joker looks over at the hostages. Rachel whimpers scared like everyone else, I just sit there watching joker.

"I have 9 hostages? Did you kill them without me?!" Joker yells at the goons and they shake their head

"N..no boss, everyone else got away before we could get them" a goon says and joker sighs

"Any sign of bats or boy blunder" joker asks and the goose shake their heads

"No boss" they say at different times and I look the vents above me wondering where the hell Robin is at.

Joker then turns to the hostages and smiles, "last night I placed a tracker on boy blunder, it led us here meaning he goes to this school, he is here right now" joker says looking up at the vents, "and if he doesn't show himself people are going to get hurt, badly" he says then laughs as he walks over to the hostages and looks at us all.

When he looks at me he doesn't see fear so he puts his hand under my chin and looks at me, "you're a brave one, I'll kill you last, you can watch your peers die" he says then laughs and I look at the ground avoiding eye contact with that psycho.

"Who to kill first,who to kill first" he says then puts one hand on his hip and takes out his gun wagging it about, "Enie, meanie, minie...mo" he says pointing the gun at Rachel and she bursts out into tears

"No please!" She cries then the gun shoots but before it can hit Rachel I kick her down making her dodge the bullet and she cries on the ground. Joker glares at me then picks me up by my hair. Crap, I so should have let her die.

Raven just had to play hero didn't she?

Oh well let's see if Robin gets to her in time in the next chapter!
