P.O.V. [Name]

I was walking beside Blaze both of us slightly out of breath. I then saw a giant building in the distance and smiled when I did. I then started to run forward with Blaze behind me.

I ran towards the city only to run into an invisible force. The sudden stop caused me to rebound slightly and I looked in front of me.

I then slowly moved out my hand and came across the invisible force. However whenever my hand came into contact with the force it turned blue. "What is this?" I asked aloud looking at what was in front of me.

"This is how they keep the demons and monsters out of the city," Blaze said looking at me. I the looked at the blue energy and then looked back at Blaze.

"Well what is it?" I asked looking at him.

"It's actually a result of them fighting demons. It's nothing but electricity," He said looking at me.

"Really? But it doesn't hurt or shock?" I said as I once again placed my hand on the invisible field.

"Yeah I know it's a trick that a few people picked up from a demon that they were fighting. He would incase himself in electricity and they wouldn't be able to hurt him. The way he did it was by condensing it to the point to where it couldn't enter the body," Blaze said looking at me.

"Then how do we get in?" I asked looking at Blaze.

"I'm not sure exactly. I would imagine they have someone waiting somewhere around the area to let us into the city," He said looking at me. As soon as he said this I heard footsteps.

I looked to the direction they were coming from and saw a male walking along the city. I looked at Blaze a little unsure and he nodded. When he did we then started to run towards the male.

When we did he noticed us and smiled. He stopped walking and reached into his pocket. When we got close to him he smiled and handed us two cards with a special symbol on them. When we took them he smiled at us.

"This are you're official Star Shade cards. You can't get in or out of the city without them," He said looking at us. I smiled hearing this and looked at him.

"The academy is in the center of the town. Make it there and you'll be given more instruction," He said looking at me. When he said this I smiled and we started to walk towards the center of the town.

While we were walking I saw two females walking to the academy as well. We then started to walk over to them. Getting closer I could see that one had bright blue hair and blue eyes and the other had dark black hair and red eyes.

They then noticed us and walked over to us. "Hey so are you two new here as well?" The female with blue hair asked looking at us.

"Yeah we are, we just got here and we're heading towards the academy," I said looking at her.

"Oh okay that's cool. Well my name's Aoi and this is my new friend Sayaka. We also just got here today," she said looking at us.

"Cool I'm [Name] and this is my friend Blaze," I said looking at them. When I said this the blue haired female smiled at me and we continued to walk.

"So who do you think is going to be selected for teams?" Aoi asked looking at me.

"Teams?" I questioned looking at her.

"Yeah, everyone has a team consisting of three members," she said looking at me.

"Well I guess it doesn't really matter as long as I'm with my friend [Name]," Blaze said looking at the females in front of him.

"So how long have you two known each other?" Sayaka asked looking at us.

"We've been friends ever since we were kids," I said looking at her. She smiled hearing this and nodded.

"Well I guess it's nice to see that you two came here together. Not many friends come here together. They're usually separated when they go through the woods because one is weaker than the other," she said looking at me.

"Well we're not weak and our friendship has lasted this long so what's a little longer?" Blaze asked looking at her.

We then stopped reaching the Academy and I saw a female with pink hair and green eyes looking at us. "Follow me," she said looking at us.

While we were walking she looked at us. "My name is Hikaru, I will be your combat teacher for the three years that you are here. That is of course unless you are a tamer ," she said bringing us into a room with a several others.

"Wait in this room until you are given a number when you are you may leave and search the city that has the number you have been given. The others that are also given your number will be the members of your team," She said looking at us.

She then turned to us and looked at us. "Any questions?" She asked looking at us.

"What's a tamer and specialist?" Blaze asked looking at the female in front of us.

"A tamer is a human that has inheirted a small amount of demon blood. They are gifted with the unique ability to mark a demon as their familiar. They fight using the demons that they have tamed instead of fighting hand to hand like the students I teach," she said looking at us.

"Oh okay," Blaze said looking at her. We then walked into the room and waited for a male to hand us our numbers.
