A/N: In this AU Sanemi does not actually hate or dislike Giyu. They just bother each other but, really care for each other as family. I made everyone care for one another. Also, I made Makomo Giyu's biological little sister.

You made it back to your apartment bringing all the demons with you. You and Avery busted down your door to keep from dropping them startling the demons you already have. Suma was the one in the front and the most shocked.

"WHERE DID YOU FIND THEM ALL?! HOW!? ARE YOU SOME KIND OF DEMON WHISPERER?!" Suma was panicked and surprised but, was quickly silenced by Makio. Avery had helped you with the five children and you had the grey-haired demon, the demon with the fox mask, and the three children. When the five children actually saw the unconscious grey demon they quickly huddled around him 

"Nemi.! Nemi wake up! We are safe! We safe Nemi." Oh shit. Oh fuck. Nemi. This was Sanemi. You fucking found all of Genya's siblings. Holy shit you didn't know what to do or say. You don't know whether to leap for joy or start crying with how good your luck is and with how persistent your nature is.

"Oh, My God." You turned to Tengen whose mouth had dropped and was looking at Sanemi and the siblings. That's right he knew about them and seeing Sanemi unconscious was no Bueno. 

"Okay. Okay." You took a deep breath as you looked at all the new demons trying to see what you should do first. "Would you guys like to clean first or eat first?" They all blinked and, stared at you still scared out of their mind while looking around at the same time. It was radio silence and, you breathed. You really wanted them to eat but, you wanted them to be clean as well. You decided to go to the kitchen and feed them. Ripping packs of meat open you separated them into portions into small bowls. They were small children and, who knows when was the last time they ate. You slowly brought out small bowls of meat placing them in front of each child, It was nine children, and, the only adult-looking one was still unconscious. You were seriously concerned for him. "Please eat. It is okay to eat. No one will take it from you I promise. After you guys eat you can take turns bathing. If you need help you can ask me or ask one of my friends." You stepped away and showed them Tengen, Makio, Suma, Hinatsuru, Gyutaro, and Daki. 

"I'll be back Y/N." You nodded at Avery who left your apartment for a few. More than likely they were going to call Julicia and, tell her the good news. You really wanted to see the look on Mitsuri's face when she got her children. 

"Where are they going?" It was one of the five children who looked between the door, the food, and you. You needed to placate them.

"They will be back. I promise. They just made a phone call to someone to let them know the good news." You still didn't know about the girl with the fox mask but, she decided to grab her bowl and, sit next to you while holding your leg. You sighed watching her a bit with a kind smile before looking away at the others. You really needed to check on Sanemi. "Hinatsuru sweetheart, can you get me the first aid kit, please?" Seeing your predicament she ran to get the first aid and bring it back so you can help Sanemi. The little girl was still holding onto you while eating. You looked up at Hinatsuru who had everything and, you slowly sat down the little girl moving to let you sit before leaning back into your side. She was clingy and, that was okay. 

"You're helping Nemi?" You turned with a smile to who seemed to be the oldest of the children. You nodded your head. 

"Yes, I am going to help your brother okay? I don't think Genya would like to see his big brother hurt. None of you really." It was silent before you heard feet and, hands-on your arm and neck. 

"You know Gen? We can see Gen? You promise? Where is he? I want Gen!" They all were talking at once and, crying a bit. However, as soon as they started whining they shrieked huddling away from you confusing you. That was a whirlwind of emotions.

"We sorry! I'm sorry! Don't hurt us, please! PLEASE!" You almost cried because they really thought having regular emotions was deserving of punishment. You sighed giving them the most reassuring smile you can muster.

"I will never hurt you. Even if you were to hurt me I will never hurt any of you. It is okay to be scared and care for your brother. Family is a beautiful thing to have. You are allowed to feel and be happy, be sad, be angry, be scared. It is okay. I am going to help Sanemi and my friend Avery is going to make sure Genya comes." You then turned to Mitsuri's three children. "I will also make sure that your mommy comes. Julicia has Mitsuri your mommy, Genya their brother, and another nice demon named Giyu." The little girl that was clutching to you gasped grabbing your arm to get your attention. 

"GIYU IS MY BROTHER! I WANT GIYU!" You didn't see that coming and, it must have shown on your face because she became more insistent with you, and, before you can continue that's when Avery made an appearance. 

"I told Julicia and, she is going to bring all three of them here. I hope you don't mind." You shook your head agreeing. You needed to focus on Sanemi though. You felt yourself spiraling a little bit but, Sanemi came first right now.

"While I fix up Sanemi can you please get the others from the apartment next door? I think the children would like to see more demons as well." Avery nodded doing as you said as you finally worked on Sanemi. You washed whatever visible skin you saw carefully first before you cleaned his cuts and wounds, and dressed him up. When you took off whatever was left of his shirt you saw that he had a lot of scars which was extremely concerning. You thought demons were supposed to heal but, clearly, he was not healing properly. He must have been starved and used as bait or something. Maybe he was part of a fight ring? He had to be, he had way too many scars for your liking. He also had large bruises on his ribs which signaled cracked ribs so you tightened bandages around him. When you tugged a little rough on the last pull he screeched sitting straight up and scaring the shit out of you. 

"NO!" You moved your arm in front of your face wincing at the feel of something slicing your arm. When you pulled your arm down, it was radio silence. Quiet. Too quiet. You and Sanemi stared at each other as his eyes followed the slice on your arm. It was for sure more than a scratch and felt more like a gash with the way blood was coming out and it burned. His eyes were wide with panic and, so were the children. He started scrambling trying to apologize, tears coming to his eyes as the children started crying too.

"I'm sorry for scaring you Sanemi. I was just bandaging you up because you were hurt. You can go to your siblings if you want." You backed up from him to give him a wide berth and, looked away from him as you tended to the cut. It really burned and needed to be cleaned to prevent infection. That's when Avery came in with the others. They all looked around at all the demons and, the air was just awkward and, uncertain. You had your back to all of them to try and, give them a weird sense of privacy. Avery made their way to you. 

"What happened to your arm?" You smiled up at them despite the way your arm was on fire.

"It was an accident. I scared Sanemi, the pretty one with the wild white hair while I was bandaging him. Now we match a bit!" You finished your arm and, turned back to him who still haven't moved and, neither did his siblings even though they were staring at each other as well. "You guys can go ahead! Please, don't you miss each other?" That was all the motivation they needed as they glomped at each other. Sanemi was trying to hold all of them at the same time and vice versa. They seemed whole even though you saw Sanemi glancing around until his eyes stopped on Muichiro and Tengen. 

"....Tengen? Muichi?" With glances at you, the two aforementioned demons stepped up to him even though his siblings didn't move away from them. You watched as Muichi all but hugged Sanemi and, Tengen rubbed his face against his. It was endearing and made you feel warm inside. It was such a beautiful feeling. 

"I'm going to get Julicia, she is downstairs." You nodded your head at Avery who left to go get Julicia. She made it here fast so, you're pretty sure she broke a few laws and speed limits to get here. You were excited. You turned to all the demons to gouge their reaction and, other than watching you from time to time they all seemed content. 

"Would you like to eat Sanemi? I can get you something to eat, Y/N won't mind. She is really nice. The best if I am being honest and, her friend Avery is amazing too!" Sanemi was skeptical as he watched Tengen get him food and, you turned to the door opening. Avery and Julicia walked in first followed by Mitsuri, Giyu, Genya, and, surprisingly Kyojuro and Senjuro. They also seemed very surprised as they made a bee-line for you. You opened your arms getting flattened to the floor by Kyojuro's and Senjuro's weight. 

"Y/N I MISSED YOU SO MUCH! YOU HAVE SO MANY FRIENDS HERE! WOW!" You laughed as Senjuro and Kyojuro smushed their faces to you peppering kisses on your head and cheeks. You just knew the others were so flabbergasted. "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR ARM?!" Before you can answer them that's when you heard screams. The three of you turned quickly to see Mitsuri crying freely while holding her three children to her. It was a whole sob fest. 

"MY BABIES! I GOT MY BABIES! OH, MOMMY MISSED YOU SO MUCH! THERE WASN'T A DAY THAT I DIDN'T THINK OF YOU!" She was crying while pressing sloppy kisses on all of them while refusing to let them go. "Mommy is so happy! I got my babies. Mommy got her babies back. I missed my babies. I love you. I love you. I love you all so much." Kyojuro had gotten off of you looking now between all of them. Mitsuri, Tengen, Giyu, Muichiro, all of them. You turned to see Genya hugging all of them, his siblings while crying never letting go of none of them. Sanemi was no better. You finally looked at Giyu who had two cute blue horns coming from his head-hugging the little girl to his chest and rocking her side to side. This was a lot to take in.

"ARIGATO!" You were not prepared to be crushed to the floor again but, it was welcomed. You focused your eyes to see Mitsuri was the one squeezing you. "YOU AND AVERY FOUND MY BABIES! ARIGATO!" She kissed your cheek which caught you off guard but, it didn't make your smile disappear. You watched as she hugged Avery before going back to you for hugs. "I'm forever in your debt! I will do anything for you! Anything! You brought me, my children, back!" You were slightly uncomfortable but, you had an idea. 

"I have one idea." The way she nodded earnestly while leaning in impossibly closer almost gave you whiplash. "I would like for you to make a video with your children so I can show Obanai." She froze for three seconds before screaming directly in your face. How did you still have your hearing?

"YOU KNOW OBANAI! YOU KNOW MY HUSBAND! WHERE IS HE?! WHY CAN'T I SEE HIM?! I WANT MY HUSBAND! PLEASE GET HIM!" You let her freak out before placing a hand on her head petting her to calm her down. The way she melted into your touch and arms was slightly alarming.

"He is currently at an adoption center but, unadoptable because he is rather mean." You heard collective sighs from Kyojuro, Sanemi, Muichiro, Yoriichi, and Tengen. "I was thinking if I got you and your children I can give it to him and, it can be motivation to be nice, either I or Julicia can adopt him out." Gulping she nodded as you handed her your phone. She took a video telling him how much she loves him and, showed her the three children being sure to thank you and Avery the most. She also took a picture that you sent to your printer to print out. You will make a trip the next day to give it to him. Lastly, you took a picture of all the demons just in case he wanted a picture of them too. Anything to help.

"Um...were there any other demons?" It was Giyu's quiet voice who answered as the little girl never left his chest and, his arms were wrapped tightly around her. Daki was running all over the place enjoying the attention she was getting with Gyutaro watching her as she ran around. 

"Yes! It was Obanai, Akaza, Muzan, Doma and Enmu! Unfortunately, all of them are unadoptable but I want them all to get better so they can be adopted if I am being honest." 

"Our friends..." Kokushibo and Gyutaro looked at each other with small smiles so, you assumed they knew all of the other demons. You simply smiled thinking of something before making an ah-hah sound. 

"Would all of you like to take a picture?" You wanted a picture of all of them together including Avery and Julicia

"Well, only if you're a part of it!" A lot of them agreed with Mitsuri so you set a 30-second timer on your phone set up as everyone got in the picture. When you were grabbed you were squished in between Mitsuri and Kyojuro who were holding you and, Tengen had his chin resting on top of your head. The camera went off a few times and, everyone separated once you moved. It was a lot going on but, now that it was an extra 10 demons you had to think about the arrangements. 

"I can take the rest of Genya's siblings and Giyu with Makomo. That's it though." That was good and Avery had already said they can take Mitsuri with the three children and still have room for whenever Obanai became adoptable. Avery and Julicia were pretty well off. Not as good as you were but, definitely way better than your average person. You weren't worried at all even though Mitsuri was a little worried but, once reassured that she can see Julicia anytime she want and she would be living with Kyojuro and Senjuro she felt a lot better. After talking a little more all the demons hugged, squeezed, and waved before leaving. Now it was you and your demons you owned now. That was a lot to take in and, it definitely was late. You definitely needed food and a shower.

"I am so damn tired. I need a shower and food. You guys can go back to your apartment or stay here. I don't mind at all." You left the demons alone as you took a well-deserved, peaceful, long shower. Once changed into your pajamas you saw they were all there still which didn't bother you at all. You made it to the kitchen and, grabbed some Tostitos pizza rolls to eat. Roughly twenty minutes later you were eating your pizza rolls with a glass of soda half asleep. The events of today were just exhausting and, you wanted to spend the night reading books with the TV playing in the background but, it looked like you were just going to have to save that for tomorrow. You finished eating watching as the four demons went back to the other apartment and said goodnight to all your demons. "I'm locking the door for the night. I'm going to bed. Love you, guys." You trudged your way to your room falling asleep as soon as your head hit the pillow.

The next day came and you found yourself making your way to the adoption center where the five demons were. You had pictures in your hand and, you were convinced that progress was going to be made with these pictures. You had hope. When you got there you greeted the young lady that was there last time. 

"Hello Ms. L/N. Fancy seeing you here again." She was smiling gently at you as you returned it. 

"Yeah, I just wanted to know if there was any progress with the demons. Did any of them become adoptable yet? Do you think any of them are close to becoming adoptable?" You and the young lady talked a bit that Enmu and Doma were becoming likely but, more so Enmu than any of them. There wasn't much progress with the others which was fine. 

"You can go see them but, we haven't made progress really with Muzan, Obanai, and Akaza. They are rather stubborn." You nodded your head thinking that maybe the pictures you had were going to be helpful in changing their moods about behaving. You wanted to adopt them for Kokushibo and Gyutaro's sake, to be honest. Obanai for Mitsuri. You made your way to the unadoptable wing being sure to stop at each of their doors. Enmu was first and, he visibly brightened when he saw you. You blinked and he was in front grabbing your hand. 

"I heard you've been doing great. I'm so proud of you." You rubbed your hand across his face gently scratching his chin watching him smile in bliss. He did seem to be a lot better since the last time you saw him. You blinked reaching into your pocket and, handing him a picture. You watched him grab the picture curiously freezing a bit in place. "Gyutaro and Kokushibo are with me along with their siblings. When I told them about you, Doma, Akaza, and Muzan they were rather excited. I suggested a picture and they agreed. You can keep it. The others are a couple of my other demons and, the rest of my two good friends take care of them." You left him be to make it Doma.

"You have Gyutaro and Kokushibo?" You blinked not expecting to see him at the window with a slightly skeptical look, his smile nowhere in sight. It was a nice change of pace really. That smile was too unnerving.

"Yes, I also have Daki and Yoriichi and, a few other demons. My two amazing friends have other demons as well. Here." You handed him a picture of the group watching him grip it tightly while shaking slightly. "Be a good boy and, maybe one of us can adopt you. I would love to." You were in a slight rush not wanting to push your luck so you quickly caressed his face and, moved over to Akaza who was also at the window having heard everything. 

"Let me see a picture." You rose an eyebrow at him and, he huffed a bit but, obliged "May I please see a picture." You smiled liking his manners and handing him his own group photo. You watched him scan the pictures.

"You can have it. Let it be motivation to get better. To be better. I know you can do it. I want you to become adoptable so, that either I or my two friends in the picture can get you. I would love to give all of you a beautiful home." You placed both hands on his hands giving a light squeeze and moving on to Obanai. The one you really wanted to see and, spend time on.

"I'm not interested in anything you say, human." You smiled at his prickly nature finding it more endearing than annoying. He was so defensive and protective of his being. 

"So, you're not interested in seeing Mitsuri and your three children?" His entire back went rigid before he slowly turned to look at you with wide eyes. "I also have a picture of your friends as well. I already told them about you." He was interested so you slid the two photos to him through the window watching as he moved rather quickly and, snatched the two photos staring at them. 

"...How did you find them?" You explained in detail how your friend Julicia had her, Giyu, and Genya, and, then how you went online and found a sketchy place where they had Genya's siblings. You and your friend Avery went, finding the whole thing suspicious only to find out it was a child trafficking ring and, you found his three children there right along with Giyu's little sister and, the oldest Shinazugawa sibling in a crawlspace in the closet.

"I also have this video that Mitsuri made for you." You watched as he watched attentively through the glass, his eyes tearing up at seeing his wife and children. It ended and, he was crying not caring that you saw him. "Please Obanai. You don't have to like me at first. Liking a human is earned, trust is earned. I just wanted to show you how serious I am. I want you to get better. I need you to get better so one of us can adopt you and, bring you to your family and friends. Please Obanai." The two of you stared at each other for a while until he slowly grabbed your hand and brought it to his forehead closing his eyes. You let him. 

"I promise." It was the clearest you have ever heard him and, he held your hand for another minute before letting go and grabbing the pictures going to hide in a corner. You finally went to your last demon of the day and, that was Muzan. 

"I know you heard everything so here is your picture." You slid it to him making sure he grabbed it. "You have no reason to trust me. You have no reason to like me. It is okay. I want you to get better. Kokushibo and Gyutaro seemed pretty happy when I mentioned you, Akaza, Enmu, and Doma so please get better. Be nicer. Behave so you can become adopted. I plan on adopting all of you so, please be kind." You gave him a large smile with a wave going to leave only to feel his hand lay on top of yours. 

"It's hard...I will try though." He stared you in the eyes before gently smiling. You were proud of his sincerity. All of them if you're being honest. You weren't worried. Everything was going to be okay. They were going to do it.
