When you got home you had sent Gyutaro and Daki, real name Ume but, she liked being called Daki so you would stick to that, inside to get introduced to Tengen. 

"I will be right back I just want to show the others where they would be staying okay?" You popped your head out of the apartment and, went next door to the other apartment. You had the key card to open it and, when you got inside it was fully furnished, you just needed to hook up the internet and, fill up their refrigerators. "I hope the four of you don't mind staying here. I own both apartments and since I don't have any room I thought you guys wouldn't mind staying here." You turned to the four of them and, it seemed neither of them had blinked let alone breathed. 

"Are you...sure?" You blinked before smiling big. This was all very overwhelming for them, you have to remember that.

"Yes! You guys are twins and, who knows how long you guys have been separated from each other before being brought to the same adoption center. I want the four of you to reconnect and just get used to a new environment. I think my presence might be too much for you guys so to keep you from spiraling or being overwhelmed I'll just come twice a day to check on you guys. I will also set up the TV, and fill up the refrigerators with different meats as well. There are four bedrooms, you guys can sleep however you want...When I get the chance I will get you guys some clothes but, I think you're going to have to settle for some hand-me-downs for now." You shuffled side to side thinking a bit. The hand-me-downs should be fine for now, right? They can eat the same kind of meat as the others as well.

"Thank you, owner." You turned to Yuichiro you guessed or maybe Muichiro who spoke and he bowed down to the floor to you. It made you cringe visibly.

"Please do not bow so low, or bow at all. There is no need for it, I am just happy to have you reunited with your family." You beckoned them to come further into the apartment and explore. "I'm going to be back in a few with some packs of meat for you guys to eat. Then I'll set up the internet and TV." You smiled at all four of them and left for your other apartment to see how Daki and Gyutaro were holding up. When you entered you were happy to see them interacting with Tengen and, his wives were fawning over his little sister. You smiled happily at the sight. 

"Oh, Y/N! We were just telling him and his sister that our home is theirs! That's what you said, right?" You grinned giving Tengen head pats and a chin scratch.

"That's exactly what I said, good boy Tengen." He purred at the praise and, you turned to Gyutaro who looked like he wanted head pats as well so you did that for him. He flinched at first and froze up. He wasn't used to a kind touch which is fine because that is something that you can work on with him. You continued to pet him a little more until he finally untensed and, relaxed the muscles in his face and neck. "See? There you go, baby. Touch doesn't hurt. It's not supposed to hurt. We can take our time with this, okay? I don't want to overwhelm you with so much touch at one time." You pulled away only to feel someone grabbing your other hand and, placing it on their head. 

"My turn, please" Daki looked up at you with big blue eyes and, you smiled petting her head and, giving her scalp scratches. She was so happy and, you pulled away not wanting to overwhelm her either. They both needed to get accustomed to touch even though it seems she would be better and, quicker adapted to touch than her brother. That's fine you won't give up on either of them. They already had too many people do that to them in the past.

"I just came to make sure the two of you know you don't have to be afraid. Tengen, Makio, Suma and Hinatsuru are very good. They are all sweet and, you can ask them any question you might have. If you want to ask me you can ask me as well. Do not be scared none of us here will hurt you. I don't have any clothes for you two right now but, until I do buy some I hope you don't mind borrowing clothes." Both of them shook their heads bowing to you making you cringe. 

"Thank you so much for taking something like me and, my sister home." They were not things. They were basically humans in a different font. You bent down placing a hand under both of their chins to lift their faces up to face you. You gave them a gentle look paired with a gentle smile. You really hated that they bowed to you or felt the need to do so in the first place.

"Please, never bow to me again. There is no need to bow. I am truly sorry from the bottom of my heart that the two of you were treated with such malice. It should not have happened. I wish I can change it but, I cannot. I can only make your present and future better." You rubbed both their faces as they cried a little bit, but forced themselves to stop, getting scared. "I am not mad at you for showing emotions. Emotions are normal. Do not be afraid. It will take time but, we can do this together. You two got Tengen and his women to help right along with me." You tilted your head at them.

"What about the others?" You smiled big at that. 

"They are right next door, all of them." You were addressing the other four occupants of the room as well. "All of you can visit them, talk without me there and, be open. I am okay with that." You stood up giving all six of them head pats. "You guys can share a bedroom as well. Eventually, I can make it so that it'll be two beds, make it more comfortable." You turned to Suma who was itching to ask you a question. 

"What other demons are you talking about? Can we see them?" You smiled at her rubbing her hair down on her back. She had a lot of hair. Maybe she wants a haircut?

"Of course, you guys can see them. They are two sets of identical twins related to each other. Their names are Mucihiro, and Yuichiro for the younger twins, and for the older twins, it's Michikatsu and Yoriichi. I still do not know who's who entirely. I bought the apartment right next to us so they can have space since it would have been rather cramped. They look more reserved and, to themselves so I wanted to give them time to get adjusted. I'm bringing meat over there for them to eat." You looked at the four of them. 

"I would like to see them as well." You turned to Hinatsuru who looked nervous but, proud that she spoke up. You certainly were proud of her.

"Amazing job for telling me what you want! You're such a good girl! Thank you." You smiled cheekily at her watching her blush profusely under the praise. "All four of you can come with me if you want to. I want to let Daki and Gyutaro adjust a bit to being in a new place." You turned to the two new occupants "Does that sound good for the two of you? You guys can explore and talk while I am next door introducing everyone." They both agreed rather quickly and, you went to the kitchen and grabbed two reusable bags, and packed them to the brim with raw meat. "I think this should be enough." Before leaving the apartment you grabbed the third bag and stuffed clothes for them to wear until you got them their own. You then left the apartment with the four in tow and, knocked twice on the new apartment door before entering to keep from scaring them. 

"Hey guys, I brought some people, er demons for you to meet." You had to remember to use demons instead of people. All well. When the twins emerged from the back the younger ones' jaws dropped and, you turned around to see the four had a similar expression. "You guys must know each other. Don't let me stop you!" You smiled hurrying to the kitchen pretending to ignore the now six demons hugging and talking a mile a minute to each other. You busied yourself putting the meat in the fridge when you felt the hair on the back of your neck stand up. You turned around to see Michikatsu and Yoriichi staring at you. You finished packing up the meat before walking towards them stopping a couple of feet away from them.

"...You brought us food." It was Yoriichi who spoke and, you smiled at him. 

"Of course I did. I want you, your brother Michikatsu, Mucihiro, and Yuichiro to eat as well. I want to take care of all of you." You guessed with their names and by the shock on his face, you got the names right. Maybe it's because you wanted to take care of them. "Oh! I got clothes!" You rummaged in the bag handing three outfits each to Michikatsu and Yoriichi who looked flabbergasted. "After you do what you have to do, eat, shower, whatever you want you guys can change into one of those. That's all I have for now until I get you guys your own clothes." You decided to risk it and, pat them both on the cheek and they instinctively closed their eyes leaning into your hands. They were cute. You slowly pulled away watching their eyes open as they both blushed. 

"You got us clothes?" You turned to see who you believed to be Muichiro. He must be the younger twin because Yuichiro stood in front of him looking at what you had. You handed them the bag for them to rummage through.

"There are six outfits in there for the two of you to share. You both are the same size so it was simple. I am sorry you have to wear hand-me-downs but, that's all I got until I get you your own clothing." They all looked at you in shock and, that's when Tengen and, the women came up to greet Michikatsu and Yoriichi. "I will be in the living room setting up the internet if you guys have anything to ask or say to me." You slinked away to the living room and set up everything. By the time you were done, you turned to see both twins had cracked a smile at Tengen and, his wives. It seemed to have been a good idea to bring them over here to introduce themselves. 

"...Is this place really ours?" You turned to see Yuichiro standing next to you wringing his hands together. He noticed you are still crouching so he dropped to his knees bowing his head. "I spoke out of line, I'm sorry." You huffed raising a hand to land on top of his head. He flinched but, then whined when you rubbed his head. It must be a demon thing to love head pats. 

"Yes, this place is really yours. Please, don't apologize. You're being a good older brother Yuichiro. You care for your brother and, older cousins as well. You just want what's best for all of you. That is very admirable and, I am proud of you. I think you did an amazing job protecting him. Use this time to get closer to your older cousins. You guys are too beautiful of a family to become a broken one." You were wiping away stray tears that had fallen watching him smile warbly at him and, give you such an open look of adoration. It was almost too much. 

"Thank you so much. I won't let you down." You smiled sadly at that but, hid it as quickly as it appeared. You placed a hand on his cheek rubbing his face with your thumb. 

"The only thing I ask of you is to be happy and, healthy. I do not know what horrors you may have faced but, I want you to be happy. That is all I ask of all of you. Eat, sleep, find yourselves, do not be afraid of me, and be happy." You smiled at him one more returning to checking all the devices in the house to make sure they had internet. Once satisfied you came back to the front to see that Tengen and co had left back to your own personal apartment leaving you alone with the four new demons. You didn't mind in the slightest. When you were in the living room you felt someone tapping you. It was Muichiro staring up at you with a rather blank face. 

"Can I get head rubs?" His brother seemed to freak out for a good reason. Other bad humans would punish demons for even talking, or looking at them without permission let alone asking for anything. You weren't those humans though.

"Of course, you can." You used both hands to run through his long hair being sure to give him light scalp scratches. He purred with a small smile encompassing his face. It was so adorable as you heard his brother give an audible sigh of relief. They had a lot of baggage. Most if not all demons had a lot of baggage. You felt eyes boring into you as you continue with your ministrations to Muichiro. You looked to the side to see Yoriichi and Michikatsu staring at you. Did they want affection too? You stopped with Muichiro but, he had fallen asleep so you placed him on the couch to rest. Yuichiro went up to him as you went to the older twins with a light smile. "Would you guys like head rubs?" You waited patiently watching Yoriichi look off to the side while clenching his hands. 

"...Yes please," Yoriichi spoke which you were proud of. You grinned at him going to reach for his face and, head with both hands. You laid a hand on his cheek while your other hand went through his hair repeating what you did to Yuichiro and Muichiro. He melted almost falling over if it wasn't for your hold on him. Poor baby was touch-starved. They all were. You honestly weren't expecting any of them to be ready for you to touch them but, you weren't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. You were happy that they allowed this kind of connection. Even if in their mind they didn't have a choice the reality was that they most definitely did have a choice. 

"It's your turn Michikatsu." You let go of Yoriichi to turn your playful glare at Michikatsu who stood frozen. You didn't move until you got his consent. If he didn't want you to touch him then you won't but, if he did then you will. It was a minute before he nodded. The moment your hands went to his hair and scalp his eyes fluttered closed with an audible sigh. Oh, this was just so precious. They all were so precious. You already loved them so much. You didn't do it too much, all too soon for your liking letting him go. This wasn't about you though. This was about making them comfortable with you and each other. With the understanding that while they were with you they were allowed choices, they were allowed to say no to something they didn't want.

"Thank you." You turned to see all four of them staring at you with gratitude which had you feeling flustered a bit. The attention was not expected but, it is still welcomed. 

"Any time...I'm going to be going back to my apartment. I set up the TV for you guys to watch and, if you guys want books I have tablets you can read books online or you can come over anytime you want to check out my home library. What's mine is yours, just warn me ahead of time so I don't think I threw it out by accident...Please don't forget to eat. I will see you guys later." You waved to all four of them closing the apartment door and locking it from the outside. You knew none of them would actually come over even with your explicit consent. You will have to coerce what they want out of them and, take them to your own apartment yourself. When you got back you were happy to see Daki and Gyutaro in different clothes sitting on the floor watching Tengen and co play a game. When they saw you come in they scrambled to attention. 

"Hi, owner." You winced again at the sound of them calling you the owner. You despised being called the owner, it made you feel like a user and abuser. Something you never wanted to be related back to you for.

"Hi Gyutaro, hi Daki. You guys do not have to call me the owner. We can work on calling me by my name. I do not like feeling like an owner. Technically by law, I do own all of you but, I do not like being called the owner. None of you are dogs and cats. Hell, they get treated better than how most of you get treated." You took a breath not wanting to get angry. This was not the time.

"I'm sorry." You shook your head moving his hair from his face to look him in the eyes.

"It's okay, technically you didn't do anything wrong. It's just a personal preference. You're still a good boy." You gave him a few more pats before turning back. You looked in the kitchen and, saw that Tengen and Co had fed him and his sister either before or after they showered or bath whichever one they did. That's when you thought of something. Maybe he knew something about the unadoptable demons from the adoption center. "Hey Gyutaro, is it okay if I ask you a couple of questions." Wanting to please you he nodded rapidly paying attention to what you were going to say. 

"Anything, own-um Y/N." You guys were going to work on that but, for now, it didn't matter. 

"I'm going to say five names and, let me know if they sound familiar by saying yes." You watched as he nodded so you said the names. "Muzan." a yes, "Doma" a yes, "Akaza", yes, "Enmu" a yes, "Obanai", a no but, that got a look from Tengen. 

"You saw Obanai?" You nodded your head and, he had such a hopeful look on his face. 

"I did. He was at the adoption center where Gyutaro and co came from. He was considered unadoptable though due to a severe adherence to humans. I do not blame him but, I do believe he has a chance of becoming adoptable. Hopefully, he does, and, a nice beautiful human can adopt him when the time comes." His face became crestfallen but, then he shined back up when he heard he had a chance of becoming adoptable and getting adopted. 

"I hope everything works out for him." It seemed he wanted to say more but, you weren't going to press him for details. He had said more than enough.

"Me too." You turned back to Gyutaro who was waiting for you to say something. "If they are your friends, all of them are currently unadoptable. I think that all of them are capable of becoming adoptable though. They just need patience and, kindness. Those two things can take someone a long way." Gyutaro surprised you with a small smile which you returned full force. "Thank you for opening up and, telling me. Trusting me as well. I know it takes a lot to trust a human." He said nothing except curl a bit into himself. It seems it was more than enough interaction for him. "Alright, I'm going to shower and, eat something. You guys can do whatever you want." You smiled at all of them exiting the living room and, heading to your own bedroom. You had quite an eventful time and, you were excited about your next adventure.
