A/N: I'm sorry for disappearing for so long. Between depression and school, I was not in the right head space to do anything I enjoy. I am trying and getting better though.

"Y/N, you really haven't considered dating anyone yet?" You were folding laundry with Kanae, Kotoha, Muzan, Gyomei, and Akaza. They were your shadows when it came to household duties which you didn't mind. You loved their company.

"I actually have, more than once, all the time if I'm being honest. However, I'm scared of getting into one. It's hard balancing. Also, I have come to terms with the fact that I would date more than one person but, that is hard to do considering everyone has to be on board and a lot of communication needs to happen in order for it to work." You were folding the colored T-shirts. You were honestly talking about the ones in the room with you and others as well in the castle. 

"So, what I'm hearing is that you already have people in mind?" You fumbled the shirt in your hand looking at Kotoha's smug smirk with a shy grin of your own. "It seems like you have. Care to share with the audience here?" You were way too embarrassed to admit to your feelings out loud like this so you decided to throw a shirt over your head to hide from them. You felt a tug on your own clothes so you went straight down to the floor holding the shirt to keep hiding your face. 

"Awww look at her. Someone is being a little shy today." It was Akaza who was trying to gently tug the shirt from you now but, it didn't budge making him giggle. He splayed his hand on your back smoothly running it up and down. "I can smell your embarrassment. We are the last ones you need to be shy around doll." That made you want to curl up so you did with his hand never leaving you. The others were chuckling as they continued folding. You heard movement and peeked an eye open to see Kanae smiling at you near your face. 

"We will never force you to tell us but, maybe you can tell one of us and we can help." She was very much talking about herself without actually saying her name so you indulged her. You mouthed the names Akaza, Muzan, and Gyomei which had her jumping up and screaming in glee. 

"SHE TOLD YOU! WHAT DID SHE SAY!?" It was Kotoha who had got up following Kanae around trying to get her to answer. Wait until they figure out you want both of them as well.

"It's not only them! There are more." They all turned to you in disbelief and confusion. Kanae looked like she might pass out from excitement and Kotoha was going to explode if she didn't get the tea. 

"I WILL THROW HANDS EXPEDITIOUSLY IF YOU DO NOT SPEAKETH!" Kotoha was red in the face turning back and forth between you and Kanae.

"I promise to tell you Kotoha, you and Kanae can know and help and work your magic okay? Let's finish folding and then we can go talk." It was decided and even though the others in the room were dying to know and kept teasing you, all of you did was finish the laundry and went to deliver it to everyone. You, Akaza, and Gyomei did the kids and some of the teenagers while Kotoha, Muzan, and Kanae did everyone else's. The three of you started taking the kid's clothes to their rooms and putting them up. That's when they went into attack mode. More Akaza than anything. 

"Soooooo, when are you going to tell me the big secret? Who are the lucky demons? Do I have to beat them to let them know not to hurt you?" The idea of Akaza beating himself up gave you the giggles especially as he started flexing his muscles. "I'm pretty strong you know, I know martial arts and was one of the top dogs." He was being a show-off and you loved it. You loved knowing he enjoyed being himself and was comfortable enough. The feral animal he was, was no more and you will always admire him for his strength and for allowing himself to trust you. 

"You are pretty strong just like Gyomei. Look at his arms, he got tree trunks for arms." You turned to Gyomei who simply smiled looking at you with his one good eye. "Come on now let's finish the laundry and I promise to eventually spill my secrets. Just not now." They were satisfied with that and continued to do as told. Once the laundry was done they disappeared to do whatever it was they wanted and you decided to go to one of the libraries and see who you can find there. There was always someone in one of them whether they were reading, just exploring, or waiting for someone to come so they can play hide n seek or tag. 

"Mama Y/N let's play!" You turned to see Daki, Nezuko, and Susamaru coming from behind the bookcases. They were vibrating with excitement so with a smile you covered your eyes and turned around counting out loud listening to them scream, giggle, and scurry to hide before all went eerily silent. They knew you can hear and smell them so they more than likely would hide somewhere with a lot of dust or in a hole in a wall. 

"Ready or not here I come." You carefully walked almost hovering on the ground looking up since the last time they were hiding on top of the bookshelves and it took you a while to find them. You decided to climb the nearest one and glanced across seeing none of them. It seemed they learned to not always hide up high. The library was huge though so it didn't mean it would be easy finding them. You continued walking deciding to check the walls because Susamaru wasn't a fan of leaving the floor she was on. That was Nezuko and Daki's doing so Susamaru was definitely on the first floor.  "Where are you my little lamb?" You went still holding your breath and straining your ears. There was a certain scratch and pitch you were listening for. She didn't know this library too well so she wouldn't go far from the exit or where you can't find her. You waited a few more seconds and heard the scratch you were listening out for. "Found you." You sped walk two rights, left, and straight down to a door by one of the staircases. You crouched opening the door and startling the girl inside. 

"You found me too fast!" She was pouting but laughed when you snatched her up and started tickling her. She was rather small for her age so it was easy. 

"Now we can go on another adventure and find Nezuko and Daki. I'll let you in on a secret." You leaned in and comically whispered, "They're on the second floor." The both of you giggled and made your way upstairs to find them. Susa stuck to you like white on rice while you guys looked. You didn't bother looking up top because they knew that would be too easy. They weren't scared of exploring so they wouldn't be near the stairs so you started looking at the back in corners. They would definitely be together because Daki gets scared being by herself.

"They'll be together right?" You nodded at Susa as you listened out and scanned the area for anything out of place. Daki had a habit of hitting things accidentally and Nezuko not caring to fix it. You looked and saw a lamp was displaced due to dust being in a perfect circle. 

"Found them." Moving the table that was blocking tiles you grabbed two tiles that were loose and pulled open a door where you found the two girls surprised. 

"You found us faster than I thought." They both were quick though to get out and latch onto your front. Once you put the stuff back and stood up Susamaru climbed onto your back making herself comfortable. "We need to play hide and seek another time!" The three girls were comfortable clinging onto you talking back and forth as you decided to leave the library and maybe go to the living room or something. You weren't sure and knowing them they'll eventually leave and go do their own thing in each other's room. As expected once out in the hallways they let you go to go do whatever it was they wanted. You were a little hungry so you decided to head to the kitchen. When you got to the kitchen Muzan was already in there and you felt your heart leap to your throat. You had confessed that was one of the ones you had a crush on and wanted to date but, he wasn't the only one. 

"You're going to stand there all day sweetheart?" Your eyes met his ruby ones that were looking at you over his shoulder as you made your way to him until you were standing beside him to see what he was up to. It seemed he had beat you to the cooking. "I figured you would be hungry after playing with the girls." You looked at him surprised and all he did was smirk and tap his ears which made sense. His hearing was exceptional, on par with Tengen's and Zenitsu's really. They had the best hearing really out of everyone, maybe besides your dad. Being a parent honed those skills as well. "I hope you don't mind beef stew." You shook your head as you stood next to him talking idly. 

"You're truly amazing Muzan, you're so talented and I'm going to be forever thankful that you trusted me enough to come with me. I truly do love you." You were leaning into his side watching as he froze for a few seconds before turning back to cooking. In response, he leaned his head against yours turning his face to press a kiss against your head. Music was playing on the radio and it was nice and peaceful with the two of you dancing and moving around each other in the kitchen. Once the food was done he served you a plate and grabbed his plate of raw meat from the fridge. The two of you sat down next to each other on the kitchen island. 

"Enjoy it, sweetness." Smiling you took the first bite as a burst of flavor hit your tastebuds. You widen your eyes before digging in ignoring the chuckling coming from your right. "I'm going to take it that you enjoy it?" You agreed as you dug into the stew and rice as he slowly ate his food. You were finished in no time and were full. You sat up burping and leaning against him. 

"I got the itis." Good food always made you sleepy. You were leaning more into him feeling an arm snake around your waist pulling you closer but, you could care less. You were way too comfortable and full to care. "You're so warm and comfy." You snuggled more into his side your face snug in his neck as he rocked you side to side humming. 

"You can go to sleep if you want, I'll watch over you." You trusted him with all of your heart so you did just that. You fell asleep.

When you woke back up you were warm and soft. You didn't want to move so you snuggled more into the warmth but, woke up when your warmth moved. You opened your eyes and looked up to see Muzan's eyes again. He took you somewhere more comfy it seemed.

"Did you sleep well, princess?" You blinked feeling yourself get flustered. 

"I-I did. I see I clung onto you." Muzan was staring at you with the softest eyes you've ever seen him make.

"After you fell asleep I took you to your room but, you clung to me so I stayed with you. I got to admit it was nice being so close to you without someone else interrupting." There goes your heart beating a mile a minute that you're pretty sure that he can hear but, he was giving no indication that he did. "We can stay here a little while longer and then get up and do whatever. It's still early and the others are making dinner in a while." If you didn't know any better he seemed content to just stay with you the rest of the day. Unless that was your crush talking to you. Maybe both. Not the time to be delusional.

"We can stay here a little while longer. I'm comfy." To emphasize your point you snuggled closer liking the way he tightened his hold on you purring deep in his chest. It was low but, you heard it with the way your ear was pressed against his chest. You liked to think it was reserved just for you. Maybe Muzan was going to be the first one you ask. You're definitely going to ask Akaza next.

I am sorry for the length of this chapter in comparison with my others but I do need to get back into the groove of writing and thinking about how I am going to finalize this book. I believe I'm going to have 3-4 more chapters before it's complete. It's nice to be back and to everyone who stuck around thank you so much! You guys are the best :)
