A/N: Okay so now that all of you live in the castle the demons in your care now are the Rengoku family (Kyojuro, Senjuro, Shinjuro, Ruka), Tengen and his wives (Makio, Suma, Hinatsuru), Inosuke and his mom Kotoha, Shinobu, Kanae, Kanao, Sanemi, and his six siblings, Gyomei (the two children he had was Kaigaku and Zenitsu), Giyu and Makomo, Rui and the spider family (all of them), Muzan, Doma, Akaza, the Tsugikini twins, the Tokito twins, Gyutaro and Daki, Enmu, and Obanai and Mitsuri with their 3 children.

If there was one thing you were good at, it was keeping a promise, and just like you promised all the children you slowly but, surely started taking them outside in public. You didn't want to force anything on them and, the first ones who wanted to go outside with you were surprisingly Zenitsu and Kaigaku. Kaigaku was still very protective of Zenitsu but, he trusted you which was something you were glad about. When they asked you, you first wanted permission from Gyomei who was a little hesitant but, he agreed. 

"Would you like to come with me? That way you can watch them yourself, you know just in case." He was a little too uneasy for your liking and you wanted everyone to be as comfortable and happy as possible. 

"I'm not sure if I would be welcomed..." You nodded your head understanding his concerns but, you wanted to prove that in this city he didn't have to worry about that. He didn't have to be frightened or scared of anyone.

"Of course, you will be welcome! You're not the only tall demon here, in fact, the demons here are very much your height, the men anyway. The women sometimes are a little shorter about '6"8 or maybe '6"9, in that range, so you have nothing to worry about...Unfortunately, I cannot take away your past, I wish I can take all your pain and suffering and throw it away. All of you. I can't though because the past is the past but, I want to make your guy's present and future beautiful." You were carrying Zenitsu in one arm and holding onto Kaigaku with your other hand watching Gyomei come to some sort of revelation. He stood up rather quickly and with two of his arms grabbed the three of you, and lifted you guys up for an embrace. Once the three of you were comfortable he used all four arms to hold you guys and started walking. 

"Where are we going?" You were going to say that you can walk but when you saw how relaxed Zenitsu and Kaigaku got squished between you and his chest you chose to let the giant do as he pleased. Clearly, he had a mission on his mind that he planned on completing and you weren't going to be the one to stop him. After you guys left the castle he continued to carry you three and, by this time Zenitsu and Kaigaku had fallen asleep and were purring softly while holding onto you for dear life. It was a sweet sight and if you snuggled closer to them no one bared to witness. 

"Our old home." You were surprised he would take you there but, you were just too happy to have gotten him out of the castle with you and his two children. You are not sure if they are biologically his but, you knew the two in your arms were brothers and they called him dad so that was that. You wished sometimes it was easier to tell but, the family doesn't always mean blood. Family is who you feel safe for and who you would die for. You always thought your siblings and dad were the only ones you would die for until you met all your demon friends including the children. You would lay down your life if it means they can survive. You wouldn't tell them that though because they won't be able to handle such a sentiment. They won't be able to comprehend just how much you love them all. 

"I bet you kept it beautiful. I can tell you have a beautiful soul just from looking at you. You're a sweetheart despite the cruelty humans threw your way." You were talking about his eye and the scar on his forehead. You were worried that a human did something to him. More than likely someone did. 

"...I sure hope you think it's beautiful." No more was said and if he squeezed you a bit tighter then you weren't going to say anything. Whenever any of them showed affection you would soak it up like a sponge and allow them to do as they please. Your family came a long way and you'll be damned to stunt their growth and comfortability by making them feel uneasy or unable to show affection. If you die from it so be it, but, you'll try not to, there is no need to traumatize them all over again. Your eyes zeroed in on a cabin that was surrounded by wildlife and flowers. 

"I see a cabin! It's over there with a stone walkway and flowers all over it! I know you can see it Gyo!" You looked up at him and with his one good eye, he was giving you an undecipherable look. It seemed he wanted to say something but, didn't know how to approach the subject. 

"You have really good eyesight because that's a couple of hundred feet away." You did a double take and it seemed the cabin was right in front of you. Huh? That was strange. You had an inkling of what was going on but, you didn't want to get your hopes up.

"It seems like it's right there though, that's strange but, I am glad we found it!" You were having weird occurrences like that lately, better eyesight, better hearing, a stronger jaw, and an overall increase in strength that you didn't have an explanation for. It may have to do with the fact that you rough house a lot with your siblings and you just got an increase in muscle. That wouldn't explain the better eyesight and hearing but, whatever. You weren't going to concern yourself with such trivial things. At least not right now you won't.

"Do you...really like it?" Once you got there you looked around and it was even more beautiful than you thought, it was filled to the brim with all kinds of flowers, and there were vines lacing up the front porch-like area of the house with a stone walkway. You heard water so there must be a little pond in the back with fish and water lilies, probably some frogs or toads. It was very peaceful and you prayed no one would come and ruin this little sanctuary, it felt sacred and deserved to remain that way. 

"I love it, it matches your personality as well as Rui and his family. You guys must have loved it here but, I am glad that I found you guys. I do not ever regret meeting you guys. All of you are a piece of me and I don't want to lose any of you no matter where you go." It was silent again and this time Gyomei simply sat down in front of the cabin and leaned back still holding the three of you close to him rocking gently. The rocking motion was slowly lulling you to sleep. 

"You can sleep Y/N. I promise to protect you, you're safe with me. In the same way, you make sure we all are always safe." That promise made you feel warm inside and with a gentle smile and leaning your face against Kaigaku's hair with Zenitsu smooshing his face into the side of yours you fell asleep warm, safe, and happy.

Okay, so you didn't want to worry anyone but, now you were growing a little concerned. A couple of things were concerning you and that was that at your new job, you had the displeasure of seeing that guy you threatened with Avery to get the Kocho siblings as well as the Hashibara family along with that horrible woman who was insistent on knowing where you live. It was too much of a coincidence for you and you're a thousand percent sure they put more than one tracker on your car. You were right and you found all four of them and disposed of them in different locations knowing those trackers weren't cheap. You were pissed and paranoid. Now, the other part you're concerned about is the changes you saw in yourself. You were trying to come to terms with your hearing, vision, and strength, and now your teeth were sharper. All the ones from your canines all the way to the back were sharp as daggers. You cut your tongue so many times but, it would heal. That was another thing that had you freaking out a bit. Your healing time dramatically increased. Why would you be turning now? That has never been heard of. A human that can turn into a demon? What kind of phenomenal was that?

"Y/N, sweetie?" You jumped at the soft sound of Kanae from behind the bathroom door. She acted like a concerned older sister and you don't blame her considering she has two younger sisters. "Are you okay? You seemed distressed." She didn't wait for you to confirm so she opened the door just in time to see you examining your teeth. You showed her even though you were feeling insecure about the whole thing. 

"I was looking at how sharp my teeth got. See" You opened your mouth and her eyes widen a bit before going back to normal. She pressed a tentative finger pulling away when your canine cut her and she gave you a surprised look. 

"Maybe you should tell your dad? I think he can help you figure out what's going on." You shook your head vehemently. You had a good idea of what was going on and the last thing you wanted to do was worry your dad about something like this. If it became too much for you to handle then you'll tell him but, until then you can handle it for yourself. 

"No thanks, I do not wish to worry him. He worries so much about other things there is no need to have him worry about something as little as this. If it does become too much for me to handle then I will tell him. That's a promise." You turned to her smiling a bit knowing how seriously she takes promises and you intended on keeping them.

"As long as you promise. You can tell me anything too you know. Or, anyone else if you do not wish to tell me anything." You can tell she got a little insecure at the end and that just wasn't going to do. You pinched her cheeks giving her a cheeky grin 

"Don't ever doubt I will not tell you things. As long as you wish to hear me speak I will gladly tell you anything you want along with everyone else. I love all of you and I never want any of you to forget that." She was blushing and it was the cutest thing you've seen today. After you guys talked for a little while longer she left the bathroom to leave you to your own devices. You were not going to tell anybody about the people at your job harassing you because you can just report them to HR. All else fails you're just as crazy as Avery and you can handle it yourself again. They weren't important to you. You left the bathroom going to just walk the halls.

"Y/N!" You turned around just in time to get bombarded by the Shinazugawa siblings including Sanemi who stood away a bit watching with amusement as his siblings glomped you to the ground. You were laughing letting them hug and cling to you as they talked your ear off. It made them happy knowing they can do this and just be themselves. "Come outside! We want to show you something!" You were paying attention to all of them and you saw that even Sanemi was excited which means this was important. You allowed yourself to be dragged outside watching in amusement how happy they were. It made you excited to see what they had planned. "Close your eyes!" You did as instructed and allowed them to guide you which made them even happier if the squeals were any sign of that. You always showed how much trust you put into them without even having to think about it. You felt the coolness of the outside and the wind in your ears.

"OPEN YOUR EYES." You did as instructed and then your jaw dropped immediately after your eyes opened. There were decorations all over the place from balloons to party favors, to snacks, food for everyone, presents, and all of your family from your parents to the demons you rescued. Everyone was there and before you can stop it the waterworks started. 

"SURPRISE!" Everyone screamed this very loudly and you didn't jump but, you felt a couple of tears escape out of pure shock and happiness. An overwhelming flow of happiness entered your system.

"Do you like it?" You turned to address Sanemi and Genya who were red with shyness but, were staring at you waiting for your reply. They all really were and all you did was laugh and grab Sanemi and Genya since they were the closest in a bone-crushing hug. 

"I love it so much. You guys are the best, I love all of you so much. You all makeup pieces of my heart, you make me whole." If you heard a couple of sniffles then you pretended you didn't. Now was not the time to dwell on your newfound powers or changes or whatever is going on with you. Now was the time to celebrate life, to celebrate family.
