A/N: Itsuki and Aina are Y/N and her sibling's parents

A/N: Edited 05/11/2023 or 11/05/2023

"Was Y/N always like this?" Y/N was doing overtime at her job and wasn't home so Muzan built up enough courage to ask about her to the family. They are fiercely protective of her and adored her so he didn't want to accidentally say or do something that would get him kicked out. They all were in the living area watching a movie when he decided to pop the question.

"Always like what? Kind? Way more than she realizes?" He blinked looking at the siblings feeling the need to apologize for some reason but, their parents stepped in.

"He didn't mean any harm by that question. You have to remember everyone in this room grew up the way I did. They never knew different or kindness before your sister." That placated the rest of his children as he turned back to everyone in the room who was paying rapt attention to what he was talking about. "Yes, she has always been like that. I always said she got it from her mother because she sure as hell didn't get it from me." He snorted at that shaking his head. "I'm not sure if she told all of you but, I grew up in a fight ring. Taken from my parents when I was a kid, they were killed I believe and I've been in underground fight rings all the way up until I met my wife. I hated her at first." He stopped looking over to his wife for her to continue.

"Yes, it's very true. He didn't like me at all. I and my group had found the fight ring that he was a part of for years and arrested all the humans involved. The demons that were...alive we took them and he was one of the demons that was sent straight to slaughter because there was no way he was going to be rehabilitated." Clearly, those people were wrong. "I didn't give up on him though. No matter how many times he hissed and growled I never gave up. I don't why at the time I didn't but, I'm glad I didn't because he gave me a big beautiful family. Then of course my Y/N added all of you guys so now it's massive! I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life."  Muzan blinked looking up at her father before looking around at everyone else who had similar looks.

"Well, we got side-tracked a bit since we were talking about Y/N. She has always been like that. When she was little she never blinked at how different her siblings looked. She always fed them, changed their diapers against our wishes because we wanted her to be a child, played with them, and helped them with school, bullies, and work. She did everything for them." That's when Mom jumped in again.

"She used to cry all the time because she wanted to be like her siblings. She didn't question how they look, she used to question why she couldn't look like them. She wanted to look like her dad but, she accepted that it was okay to look like me. Kids in school used to make fun of her and say she was adopted but, she got better. Her siblings and ourselves helped her." Both parents heard low growls from the demons in front of them but, other than that there were no interruptions.

"It was kind of hard for her to keep friends. She made friends easily but, it was hard to keep any long-term because they moved, the family was discriminatory against demons or mixed families, or some other mundane thing. It was a hassle. She went from crying to being sad, angry, and then just disappointed. It was a lot but, she is in a better place now. I thank you guys for making her so happy." Both parents bowed to the demons and, they were on their feet talking all at once.

"Please don't bow! It's okay!"

"You shouldn't bow to us! We are fine!"

"We should be thanking you and your daughter!"

"She saved us! Most of us would be starved, hurt, or even dead if it wasn't for her!"

"I love her! She's perfect the way she is!"

There was more talking until they all finally settled down and Muzan was the one who remained standing and bowed to them in thanks before sitting back down. "I just wanted to thank you for answering my questions even if it was a little out of place of me to ask." Itsuki and Aina finally got everyone to calm down with smiles.

"Y/N loves all of you more than anything. Yes, being raised with demons helped her not to be biased, but everything she does is her. Everything she says is hers. She is genuine with her words and actions. That was not our doing. She is her own person and I don't ever want any of you to doubt her. She is a rare, precious gem. Our baby. And now you guys are her babies." Everyone was talking for a little bit while and that's when Y/N finally came back home from work but, she wasn't happy. She was a little sour and they all could tell. Or they just became attuned to her emotions the way she is for them.

"I can sense your emotions all the way over here, sweetheart." Y/N frowned at her dad before huffing with a pout. She hated making faces in front of her dad even if he never got offended. "Do you want to talk about it? To anyone?" No, she didn't. She didn't want to mention how that awful lady somehow squirmed her way back to the hospital and is bothering you about where you live now. She's such a weirdo. She wasn't worth being so upset over though.

"No thank you. It's someone silly who upset me and I don't want to think about them and make myself more upset." You were going to live by that for as long as you can. A nobody like her isn't worth occupying your mind and emotions the way she tries. "Did you guys finish eating? I'll be back though I need a shower." You greeted everyone with a wave but, you will be back to give hugs like you always do. The shower and pajamas were calling your name. You disappeared and that's when Tengen spoke up.

"I think it's the same lady that was bothering her before." That caught the attention of everyone left in the room. "Yeah, there was this lady that would constantly bother her and Julicia at their job wanting to know how she got to live in a luxury apartment and about us. She didn't like the nosiness and questions so the three of them never saw eye to eye. Especially her and Y/N. I bet you the lady came back and is bothering her again." Her parents looked at each other briefly before looking back at them.

"For now we will let her be but I see if she will tell one of us what was the problem." That was the end of that and later on, Y/N came to the kitchen in shorts and a tank looking for something to eat. She decided to heat up some frozen food since she didn't feel like cooking anything fancy.

"MAMA Y/N!" You turned around to grab Daki who was clinging to you while you heated up your food in the oven. She didn't say anything else just curled up against your side placing her face into the side of your neck. "I love you so much." You smiled pressing a kiss to the top of the girl's head.

"I love you too sweetie." She stayed with you until she fell asleep and that's when Gyutaro came to get her and you gave him a hug and cheek kisses before he left. Your food was done so you placed it on top of the stove to cool off while you served yourself juice and water going to place it at the table that was now empty.

"...Hi Y/N." You turned around to see Akaza and Doma standing at the entrance of the kitchen just watching you. It was fine and you waved them both in. You loved their dynamic, Doma annoyed Akaza and Akaza pretended to hate it when in reality they both see each other as brothers. They acted like siblings so the vibe definitely matched. "What's that you're eating?" You showed them the bowl that had meatloaf, vegetables, and mashed potatoes.

"I wasn't in the mood to really cook so I just heated this up with some juice and water. Would you guys like to stay and talk with me or did you just want to say hi? Either is fine." You always made sure to reassure them because they were still trying to come to terms with having choices and just actually having the freedom to do things. Doma was a part of a cult and Akaza was in the same fight ring as Muzan where they both were champions. Now that they understand how bad it was to be a part of that life and, that change can happen they try their best to avoid talking or even mentioning their past.

"I will stay if he does." Doma pointed to Akaza who was already taking a seat to your left and Doma took a seat to your right. Doma as you expected brought your chair closer to him so he can wrap his arms around your waist. He always did this and it never bothered you.

"She needs her personal space you know." Akaza proceeds to say this as he scoots his chair impossibly closer as well. What were you going to do with them? You had no idea but, you'll keep them as long as they wanted to be kept. "Is that any good?" He was always curious about human food since he can only eat raw meat.

"I just had to stop myself from giving you a piece. This would make you sick. It's good but, this food fresh tastes better." It was mostly silent amongst the three of you as you finished eating as Doma and Akaza talked about whatever came to their mind. Once you finished eating they followed you to the kitchen and, then just stayed with you as you walked around the castle. You didn't get a chance to explore everything so every day or every other day you take some time to look around. There was more than one library here and you wanted to find the main library. You found what your dad called a 'side library' but, honestly it was triple the size of your two old apartments combined. It made you giddy and nervous to see the main library.

"I can smell your excitement! What's got you so excited, eh? I want to know. You can tell me I'm listening." You were working on that cult mentality but, it's easier said than done. You weren't going to give up though. Akaza seemed to have read your mind as he gave Doma a quick concerned look before looking back ahead.

"My dad said there is the main library much bigger than that side library I found and I'm excited! I really want to see how big this main library is because that side library was huge!" The three of you talked venturing around looking for signs-courtesy of your dad who figured out quickly how lost you can get- and eventually ventured into an area you've never been to.

"Is that it over there Y/N?" You looked over to where Akaza was pointing and it was massive wooden doors with golden trimming that had the words Library across the top.

"It most definitely looks like it." The three of you made your way to the doors opening them slowly and, turning on the light switch beside the door on the inside. A loud gasp escaped from you with your jaw dropped. This was definitely the main library! "Oh, my God! We found it! We found the main library!" The three of you were excited and had split up to look around agreeing to meet each other back at the main entrance. You had no idea anything like this was back here!

"Ah, Akaza look!" You giggled to yourself listening to the antics of Doma and Akaza on the other side of the library. You had told your parents about your increased hearing and sight but, they just looked at each other before telling you not to worry about it so you won't. You walked around the library just browsing the various books when you heard scuffling. You stopped what you were doing and blocked out Akaza and Doma to see if you can hear the scuffling again and, you did. You followed the scuffling being sure not to make noise with your feet. Trying to sneak up on demon siblings to surprise them was a skill you learned. The scuffling got louder as you got closer. It sounded like it was coming from behind a bookcase.

"What the hell..." You started feeling around the bookcase until with surprising force the bookcase went inwards and you flew back with a yelp. You were looking forward but, heard the running feet of both Akaza and Doma.

"You're okay Y/N?" You heard their voices closer so you knew they'll find you. You were trying to figure out why such an ancient bookcase that looked immobile moved with such force. When the dust cleared up and can see without sneezing what you saw had your jaw dropping to the floor.

"W-what?" There in front of you had to be the two scariest-looking demons you'd ever come across. Both were huge over 7 feet tall, and bulked up but, that wasn't the weird thing. The one who seemed to have moved the bookcase had a zigzag scar across his forehead and four sets of arms with rosary beads. He had one blind eye as well and, the other one was staring you down with a mix of horror and something else. The one next to him looked mostly like a giant arachnid. "How long have you guys been here? Why are you hiding in a bookcase? Does my dad know about you?" Judging by the sheer amount of dirt and what you can see is a hole in the room you doubt it.

"I smell demons." You turned your head to see Akaza and Doma had come to you and stood in front of you looking at the new demons. "Oh? Hi! How are you? My name is Doma. This is my friend Akaza and she is Y/N." Doma was always good at introducing himself and other people. His persona allowed him to be friendly and get along with just about everyone.

"Is she your owner?" They both were shielding your view from the inside so you assumed other people must be in there. You wouldn't push too much.

"No, I am not their owner. They don't have an owner. They are their own person. Why don't you two and whoever you guys have back there come out and get some proper food and a bath? You guys don't have to hide behind a bookcase this castle is big enough for you guys to have a room. You don't have to listen to me if you don't want to but, please listen to Doma and Akaza and let them explain everything. You both look very apprehensive of me right now." As expected you can tell the two of them were confused as to what to say or do. It's clear a human has never acted this way. "Just so you know my family is demons, I am half-demon. You don't have to believe me I will just show you. Akaza and Doma please bring them out I will be at the main entrance to keep from making them nervous." At this moment you felt you would do more harm than good.

"We will be there soon Y/N-Chan!" That was Doma and you allowed the sounds of Akaza and Doma talking to the two main demons and whoever else was in there to coax them out so you can feed them and hopefully get them into a room. You called your dad to let him know about the bizarre situation and, he was just as shocked as you were. Apparently, not even he knew of the demons in the library. That just made you think if they're other demons living in the walls or secret corridors.

"I feel like my life is an entire five-star tv series." A year ago if someone would have told you, that you would be living in a castle with demons and your family you would have sent them to the nut house. Good thing that scenario never actually happened. You waited patiently for them to come back and when you heard multiple footsteps you slowly turned around to see way more demons than you actually intended. "When I said all of you I did not know it was that many. Holy wow." Spider demon had a wife and three children and the tall four-armed demon had two kids that looked like brothers. After the initial shock, you smiled at all of them even though the children were obviously shy. "I hope you guys don't mind staying here for a bit. My dad is on the way so you won't feel forced to have to talk to me." You can sense the four-armed demon was protective but, peaceful and the spider father was extremely aggressive but, protective.

"You have our thanks." You smiled at them not minding whenever Doma would grab your hand or just touch you in his excitement while talking. Akaza seemed to have gotten along with the children which was a good sign if the ghost of a smile on both their faces was a sign.

"Y/N? Where are you?" All of the demons looked ahead as your dad rounded the corner and, you ran to him taking a leap straight into his awaiting arms. "You're alright? How's Doma and Akaza?" You told him that all of you were fine and you pointed to the new demons who were confused about what to do and the children were looking at your dad in surprised confusion.

"Daddy, these are the demons I found by accident behind the bookcase." He took the time to introduce himself and talked to them for a bit. He told you that he would handle it and he placed you back on the ground. As soon as he did Akaza and Doma were hovering over you as they tended to do when the three of you were together. "I will see you guys later! My dad will take care of you and maybe when you guys relax and come to terms with everything I can visit!" You noticed they were much more inclined to be with your dad and you gave him permission to answer all questions regarding you. You had nothing to hide.

"Do you think they'll be okay? How long do you think they were back there? The kids seem familiar but, not too much." You figured that. Akaza and Doma have seen so many people and demons they were bound to have seen them. It would be a coincidence but, you didn't want to think about it too much, or else you'll get a headache.

"I don't want to think about it too much because I'll get a headache but, my dad is the best. He is the most understanding and he can and will make them comfortable. I don't think they're fond of humans so I'll give them space. We scared each other when that bookcase moved." You were admittedly worried as to why that demon had unhealed scars and a blind eye but, that would be for another day.

"Would you like to watch TV? Maybe play a game even?" Doma was trying to distract both you and Akaza which always worked. The three of you decided not to think too much about the demons for now even though you had no doubt they wouldn't get along.

I'm pretty sure you guys can guess who the demons are :) I hope you guys are enjoying this story so far!
