“You know you can’t fool me, Demon.” said Master.

“But, how?” Demon asked

“I put you and Shinigami in one Children of Death God body, how can I not notice?”

“But we don’t need them right now, because there’s no trouble.”

Master sits up and motions Demon to sit down on his chair. She sits down and waits for him to continue.

“You have to suck and kill the Droplet Copies that you made in the past, to bring back your powers.”

Demon laughs. “This should be fun. Me and Shinigami love to play games with life.”

Master chuckles. “Just don’t get caught by those secret police force.”

Demon stands up and bows. “I won’t fail you, Master.”

She walks down the red carpet that leads to the double doors. Master looks at her. “You can stay outside of the organization for as long as you want.”

Demon looks back. “Vice-Captains included?”

Master nods his head. “Yes, and you have to have some team mates included in your team.”

Demon closes the door.

Demon slowly walks back to the Vice-Captains hall. Being greeted by everyone along her way. As she reaches room 17, Demon sees a girl in around six, wearing a small white dress, and long white hair.

“Lilly?” asked Demon.

Lilly runs up and hugs her legs. Her eyes showed little droplets of tears running down her tiny head. Demon sighs and lifts up Lilly and hugs her. This made her cry more. Demon pats Lilly’s head.

“What’s wrong?” she asked.

“I don’t want to go to school!” Lilly sniffled.

Demon sets her down and puts her hands on Lilly’s shoulders. “Tell me all about it later after I put my things in the Captains hall.”

Lilly looked even sadder. “But, I’m not aloud to go in there.”

Demon sighs and points at the room with the number 17. “Fine, we’ll talk in here then.”

Lilly nods her head and holds Demon’s hand. They walked in and sat on Demon’s bed. Lilly calmed down. “I’m always being teased by other kids in my class for being short.”

Demon smiles and looks up, remembering her memories from Crescent School. “I remember that I used to get teased for being short, but I made a couple of friends on the way. Then school went by fine and it was the most fun years of my life.”

She looks at Lilly and sees that she was smiling. Demon smiled also. Then when Demon was about to take Lilly back to the student’s dorms of the Crescent School, a black portal opened and a girl about half of Demon’s size with blond curly hair came out. Followed behind her was a girl taller than her and have short black bowl cut hair and wearing glasses.

Demon smiled. “What’s up, Captain Hannah, Vice-Captain Viper?”

Viper hugs Demon really hard. “Oh I’m so happy that you’re here!”

Hannah rolls her eyes and smiles. “You have no idea how many outfits she made for you.”

Demon smiled. “I can’t wait to see them.”

Viper let’s go and straightens her black kimono. “Anyways, Captain and I need to bring Lilly back to the student’s dorm at the Crescent School.”

Lilly hides behind Demon. Hannah smiles and puts out her hand so that Lilly doesn’t think that she’s mean. Lilly took her hand and Hannah takes her into the portal.

“Hey Hannah, wait.” said Demon.

Hannah stopped. Demon continued. “Can Viper stay to help me with my moving?”

Hannah smiled. “Of course.”

When Hannah left with Lilly, Demon and Viper set all the clothes into boxes. Demon packs up the last piece of clothes. “Well that’s the last of the clothes.”

A nock came on the door. Demon stands up and opens the door and sees Rimu, Hisoka, and Shinji with paint buckets.

Shinji looks around and sees all the cardboard boxes. “You guys aren’t done moving? Well you’re such a slowpoke, Demon.”

Demon was shacking in anger as Shinji makes more mean comments. He puts his hands on his sides and bends down to face Demon. “Aw, what’s wrong? Cat caught you tongue?” He teased.

Demon did an uppercut punch on Shinji. His head got dizzy and landed faced on the ground. Demon glared at Rimu and Hisoka. “Anyone else that wants to make me mad?”

Rimu and Hisoka shook their head no.

“Good.” Demon said. “So, what’s the paint for?”

Hisoka lifts up a paint bucket. “Vice-Captain Matt told us your favorite colors, so I, Shinji, and Rimu thought that we should paint your new room in the Captains hall.”

Demon smiles. “Thanks guys.”

Viper stands up and pushes up her glasses. “But why are you boys in the Vice-Captains hall then?”

“Well, we got kicked out once, since they didn’t believe that all three of us are Vice-Captains.” said Rimu. Then he smiled. “But, we snuck in anyways.”

Viper’s eyes got wide. “You’re Demon’s and Shinigami’s Vice-Captains? That's not possible!”

Rimu did a victory pose. “You better believe it, because Master said it was okay!”

Demon laughs harder and accidentally trips over Shinji and slams to the ground on her butt. Shinji looks up. “That was embarrassing.”

Demon kicks Shinji’s face. “Shut up.”

Demon stands up and looks at Viper. “How about you take the boys in front of my new room and I’ll finish up packing here.”

“That sound good.” said Viper while she walks over Shinji and walks out of the door. Rimu helps Shinji up.

“I swear you guys treat me more of an idiot than Rimu.” Shinji mumbles.

Demon folds her arms. “Just shut up and follow Viper.”

The boys left the room leaving Demon cleaning out her closet. She slides open the closet door and tries to reach the box on the top shelf. Why does Shinigami have to put his stuff so high, thought Demon. Her hands can barely touch the edge of the box. She tired jumping, but that didn’t’ work.

“Let’s tries this again.” She said with her hand on her hips. Demon stands on the tip of her toes and tries to reach the same box again. As she touches the box with her fingers, she felt someone behind her and lifted the box down from the shelf. Demon turns around and sees Matt holding the box.

“Shinigami’s weapon drawings and weapon magic plans?” Matt looked excited.

Demon grabbed the box away from him. “No, he’s not going to make a new weapon for you.”

Matt just shrugs. “I just wanted to help you move your stuff.”

Demon sets down the box on Matt’s foot.  He yelped and holds his injured foot. Demon walks over to the other boxes and points at them. “I’ll carry half of all the boxes and you take the other half.”

Matt stops and calms down. “Sounds good to me.”

Demon lifts the boxes and opens the door. Matt lifts the other half of boxes and follows her. “So, where are your three Vice-Captains?”

“They’re waiting for me at my new room.” Demon said looking back at him.

They kept walking but were sometimes stopped by teams asking if they needed help, but Demon declined. They continued to walk down the crowded halls of people asking if they needed help. Demon never accepted any of their help even the Captains. Matt and Demon stopped when they both saw Shinji, Hisoka, and Rimu eating an ice cream at the double doors with a number 7 on it. Hisoka walks up to Demon and takes half of what she was carrying.

“Thanks.” Demon said.

Matt was confused. “I thought you didn’t need any help?”

“Well I do now.” She said. Demon walks up to the door and opens the double doors. When Demon opened the doors the four boy’s mouths dropped at the sight of the room. It didn’t look like a room a t all. Demon entered the big mansion’s red wide carpet. Maids and butlers greeted her with a bow and said, “Welcome back Captain Number 17, Demon.”

The butlers take the boxes that Hisoka, Demon, and Matt were holding. “We’ll take this to your room Captain Number 17, Demon.”

“Please call me Captain Demon.” said Demon.

“Of coarse.” They said and walked away with the boxes up the big stairs. Demon turned around and saw that the four boys were still shocked.

She sighs. “Let’s go into the dinning room and discuss about what you want to say.”

The four boys followed her to the dinning room and sat down on the very long table. Maids gave them plates of fruit and little snacks in front of them.

Rimu gave the maids his ice cream stick. “I thought new Captain’s Numbers get the same number as the old one.”

“They do, it’s just that they get the same position as the old one, but have the same number with them no matter what.”

“So, what about this mansion?” asked Hisoka as he plops a grape in his mouth.

Demon laughs. “Magic.”

Shinji chokes on the piece of strawberry he ate. “Even the servants?!”

Demon flicks a grape at Shinji’s eye. “Idiot, they’re real and are one of our kinds.”

Demon fakes that she has a watch on her arm. “Oh look at the time! We have to discuss about our mission, which means that Matt has to leave.”

Demon snaps her fingers. Two butlers came from the kitchen and escorted Matt out of the dinning room. When he left Demon takes a sip of her last drop of red wine and sets the wine glass down.

“Now this might sound shocking, but we have to stay outside of the organization for at least a year or two.” She said.

The three boys didn’t look shocked at all, but happy. Demon smiled and sets her head on top of her hands. “Good, because Master told me to get my Droplet Copies back. The hard part is that they don’t even look like me and there are about ten of them. Droplet Copies are human pods that carry a strong power that belongs only to Captains level. They all live a normal human life. Different ages and different genders. All we have to do is get them all back to get all my powers back. Any questions?”

Rimu raised his hand.

Demon sighed deeply. “Yes, Rimu?”

“Are they all around the world?”

“No, luckily they are all in Japan.”

Hisoka folded his arms. “Then that won’t be hard at all.”

“Hisoka’s right.” Shinji said.

Demon laughed. “Hope you guys like school, because you’re taking it in Kyoto.”
