Beast Boy
-Raven POV-
I was in the Teen Titans tower reading a good book when I got a notification for an email. Curious why it was to me rather than our shared email, I looked at it to find it was from Cyborg.
I grew slightly concerned considering that they said that they'd tell me what they found, not send me something and I opened it then saw it. The caption said, “send help” with a video attached.
Fearing the worst, I didn't bother to watch the video and flew as fast as I could to where Cyborg said the castle would be. And just like they predicted, much to my dismay, their really was a castle there.
Preparing myself for Robin’s “I told you so,” I snuck towards the castle. Once I got in unnoticed, I used my magic to know how to find them. I went deeper and deeper till I saw them in a high tech cell.
I ran over, “Guys!” I said catching their attention.
They went to the door, “Raven, what are you doing here?” Robin asked.
“Cyborg sent me an email to send help. So here I am.”
Robin glared at Cyborg before saying, “It's too dangerous you need to get out before you get caught.”
“It's too late for that.” I heard behind me from an unfamiliar voice. I turn to see a silhouette of a boy covered by the shadows. By the figure, he was probably a teenager.
“Who are you? Why did you lock up my friends?” I demanded to know.
He began to walk, staying in the shadows. “They trespassed on my land while armed. Anyone could tell that they were trying to do me harm. Someone that was lost and looking for instructions wouldn't have weapons, be as clean, or have been spying.” he said only answering my second question.
“They just wanted to know if you existed.” I told him, hoping that it will help my situation. But it didn't.
“I feel very comfortable with people not knowing I exist. Stops people from wondering why I don't show myself.” he said as he leaned against the wall.
I sensed a bit of self deprecation in that sentence so I spoke up. “You don't need to be afraid.”
He laughed, “I'm not afraid.”
“Come into the light.”
He paused, “Then you'll be.”
I was beginning to lose my patience, and that wasn't good if I was to maintain control, so I spotted a light switch a few feet away and used my magic to flip it light flowing into the room.
When I looked back at him I stepped back in shock. The boy was completely green. If he wasn't, then he'd probably look like a normal human. But the green was undeniable.
His eyes were closed as if he didn't want to meet my eye. “Who are you?” I asked hoping he'd answer this time.
He opened his eyes to reveal green jewels. “You can call me Beast Boy.”
