Ace's eyes were wide in terror as it took Scarlett almost a complete hour to calm the raging child. She rolled her eyes at his baby like emotions before helping ace up off the floor.

"You do know we have to give these powers a test run right?" She smirked as Ace gave her 'the look'. "Evil can be lurking around every corner, no way." He growled and put his foot down on the idea.

Scar grabbed his hand, her strength superior than Ace's. "You won't know what is out there if you don't try and watch. " she grabbed his arms before dragging him out towards the park.

"Let go of me you fiend" he hissed as Scar laughed at his Child like behavior. She gave him a smile before finally managing to pull him out the front door. The sunlight pooled outside as a soft breeze made the trees sway.

"See it's not so bad, now, let's test out our power" she said smirking to herself as she ran down the streets, Ace following after her. The two kids chased each-other down the streets, his heart beat drummed in his chest as he looked around noticing the same building he was in, inside his dream.

"Let's go, I have a bad feeling about this" he tapped his fingers against his arm, nervous as can be at the moment. Scar turned, her blonde hair sparkling with superheated dust particles.

"You coming short stuff" she replied smirking Ace rolling his eyes in annoyance. "You only beat me by 3 inches, I will one day beat you" he glared and snapped his fingers a bolt of electricity making her go flying into a wall.

"Oh my god" he held his hands up in shock as he watched his best friend groan and try to get up off the rubble. Her eyes dimmed as she started at him, hurt emotionally.

"I'm a monster"  he held out his hands, eyes glossy as electricity cackled in his palms. He was shaking as Scarlett somehow managed to sneak up behind him. "It's okay, it's okay" she cooed like a mother, hugging Ace tightly. "It was an accident" Ace flinched at her words.

"It was no accident" he turned his head and stared at the pavement. "I can't control my powers, I can't be seen." He turned and gripped his palm a buzz emitting from his fingertips.

His hair started to spike up as his muscles twitched, Scarlett staring at him in shock. "What do you mean it wasn't an accident". Her heart was being torn slowly over every word spoken.

"I'm a freak, whenever I get angry it comes out. I was angry with you for teasing me and making me think lower of myself." His eyes sparked as rain started to fall into his head.

"You figured out another power!" Scarlett said shocked, staring at the soaked ace. "It doesn't matter." He grabbed his arm and rubbed it looking back at Scarlett fear increasing. "You do know if we touch this might fix again?" She held out her palm to the wet boy, the boy rubbing his head. "How can touching at all cause the destruction to just vanish?"

"Trust me, I have been testing out some things while you were sleeping. It seems that whenever we touch, our gifts are put at rest. Almost like balancing eachother out. Yiń and Yańg." She smiled warmly at him as he responded with a nod before slamming his hand down onto hers. Sparks emitted into the air as Ace's and Scarlett's powers started to calm and show. Blue electricity shot from Ace as Scarlett started to flame up the destruction and rubble vanishing and being replaced with a almost new wall.

They let go shocked as Ace stared at her shocked, "how, W-What!? So your saying. That's why I dreamt of that day." He rubbed his head as Scarlett smirked and gave him the 'Coo Coo' hand gesture. Ace rolled his eyes as he let go of his best friend hand. "Okay, now.." He stopped talking as he heard a loud thump in the allyway.

"Who's there" Ace yelled Scarlett turning towards the endless darkness.

"Hello again Ace, miss me" Ace stared at the man in shock as he backed up, Scarlett following. "Why are we backing up" she whispered to the boy as they were both now pressed into the wall. "That was the man from my dream."

"Yup, you can actually decipher a dream. Wow so smart." The mysterious man rolled his eyes at his comment in the ally way as he walked into the light not letting his masking aura fade. "But I'm sorry kid I'm probably not the guy."

"You just said you were.." The mysterious man rolled his eyes before growling. "I was but I'm Not the one inside your dream you idiotic boy."

Ace sighed and stared at the Man, "what do you mean? You were not the one in my dream, who is?" The man rubbed his chin at the boys question before giving a answer, "can't tell kid, that will spoil all the fun."

"Just shut up already", Scarlett growled, a flame bursting from her palm and smashing into the masked figure in the chest making him go backwards into the wall, breaking it again.

"Yeesh kid you sure love to throw a punch" he cracked his knuckles and stretched his neck, a crack following.

"Who are you anyways." Ace twisted his palm as he tried to do the same as scar, nothing working. "Why is it not working" he pouted and tried again, a few sparks being let out.

"Ha, the legend that lost its motivation and spark. Now that's something you can't miss." He smirked as he tapped on his watch. "I must go now, but please if you want, can applause at my performance."

Scarlett and Ace's eyes widened as they were both forced down to the floor onto there knees and started clapping madly. "Let us go" ace growled as the man smirked once more relaxing his palm before vanishing in a puff of blue smoke. "That's not the last you have seen of me children."

The two sighed and looked at the damage done as they turned to face eachother, both taking a deep breath as they fist bumped, their powers equalizing.

Unknowing of the fact that there was some one else watching them as well.
