Ragged breaths escaped Impulse as he woke in his bed, hands clawing around the edge... there was no holding back as a sob escaped him. And another. And then he was crying, curled up as the truth filled him.

Tango had killed him.

Tango had trapped him in there. Intentionally. 

Tango was to blame. 

His friend.

One of his closest friends...

He let out a scream, his fury echoing through the room before dying down into sobs again... his armour and tools were gone, but he'd get them back soon enough. 

Impulse slipped from the bed, finding a half-broken diamond sword in a chest, running one grey finger along the blade with a smile.

Tango was going to pay.

'And thusly we commence the next meeting of the Court of the Greyskins!' Ren declared to a full court room late the next day. So full, in fact, that they'd given up on chairs, except for Ren, and Zedaph had resorted to sitting on the table. 'What do you suggest our next move is against the hermits still living?'

'We make a bigger meeting room.' Bdubs suggested, failing to get as far away from Cleo as he'd planned and just hiding behind Etho instead. 

'Well, my dude. Feel free to extend the crastle for your noble king.'

'Can't we go in the vault? Or... Anywhere except here?'

'THE LOCATION OF OUR MEETINGS DOESNT MATTER IT HAS BEEM DECREED THUSLY BY YOUR KING!' Ren bellowed. Etho jumped, falling silent.

'Kill Tango.' Impulse suggested. 'Though I think he's been granted immunity, hasn't he?' a glare over at where Tango was standing nervously with Doc and Jevin.

'We will not kill Tango and we will not kill Bdubs. Our current targets are the heathen squabs Sir Cubalot, Scar, and Pearl!'

'I get Scar.' Grian decided. Mumbo nodded from just behind him. 'And Cub.'

'So... You ask us who we want to kill and then deny our replies?'

'I'm protected by Ren!'

'So am I!' Tango added.

'If you wish to kill someone, go for Pearl.'

'Fine then.' Impulse, grabbed fireworks, glaring around the room. 'I never wanted to be one of you to begin with!'

'IMPULSE YOU WILL OBEY YOUR KING!'

'OR WHAT? YOU KILL ME?! EXCEPT TANGO'S ALREADY DONE THAT, HASN'T HE?' Impulse banged his hands on the table,

'You will obey your king or I will ruin your life it is thusly decreed.'

'No. I'm going to ruin your life.' Impulse pushed past everyone, taking to the air and flying away.

impulseSV: Scar and Cub, Grian and Mumbo are after you. Pearl, you're also a target.

impulseSV: Ren's meeting room is the square table in the Crastle.

'SOMEONE FIND HIM!' Ren yelled, standing. Xisuma, Gem and Zedaph obeyed, following out the window. But it wasn't the end of the chaos as Cleo took her opportunity and went for Bdubs.

'DAD PROTECT ME!' Came the terrified response as he ducked behind Etho. The washed up ninja gave a whimper back as Cleo drew a sword. Grian grabbed her shirt, only managing to tear it. Ren barked to STOP HER.

Beef took up the challenge, helping Etho in creating a barrier between Cleo and Bdubs. The zombie slashed back, brutal. And as if there wasn't enough chaos already, Grian placed an end crystal in the middle of the table. The non-dead backed up, Tango letting out a yell, Jevin grabbing a second totem and Doc swearing loudly in German. Ren kept yelling for order to little avail.

'BDUBS RUN I CAN'T HOLD HER BACK!' Etho whimpered. He did, sprinting for the window and jumping out. Cleo shoved Etho away and followed.

'I'M GOING TO KILL YOU BDUBS!' She screamed as the end crystal Grian placed exploded, only killing him.

'DON'T!' Was Bdubs' best reply, diving down, landing in the spawn river. Cleo followed, splashing down after... A hole under Scar's base. Bdubs swam for it, under the roots and up into Cub's base where the convex were minding their own business.

'INVASION!' Scar yelped at the sight of him, throwing a trident. Cub sprinted for a hidden exit as Cleo appeared after.

'SCAR PROTECT ME!' Bdubs pleaded, splashing to the shore. 'Mom wants to kill me!'

'Don't kill Bdubs!' Scar pleaded weakly. Cub was already gone. Cleo narrowed her eyes.

'Scar, get out the way or I kill you too.'

A scared laugh as Scar stepped back.

'Now Cleo... We don't need to kill Bdubs...'

'I think we do, Scar...'

'No... No I don't think we do... Bdubs, run, I can handle her.' Scar hissed. Bdubs continued backing away, face pale.

'Scar, what's your plan?'

'Uhh... Don't get killed.'

Cleo replied by placing and lighting TNT.

'RUN!' Scar took to the air. Bdubs tried to follow, tripping. The TNT exploded, and the sound of a totem activating showed Bdubs nearly did too.

'KEEP RUNNING! FLY!' Scar called. Bdubs stumbled to his feet, trying to fly... He shot into the air, and immediately splatted into the ceiling.
