Diluc's P.O.V 

I release many fire attacks directed to the fatui ambushing us, but they just keep coming and coming! "Just go on Diluc! I'll hold them off!" Jean yells, stabbing one in the head as I cut off another's arm. "Just go! I can do this myself!" I kill a few more, while there are still five to go but someone pushes me. "Just run. We'll take care of this!" It's Lisa! A few more emerge from behind us. I hesitate, but I run forward to the gate. "NO!" One yells out, trying to catch me, but is stabbed in the eye by Jean.

I run forward, the ginger way ahead of me and almost out of sight as he's ran further than the bridge, and he goes off the path, then down to the ocean it seems. I follow, just wanting to release my fire on him, but I'd burn Kaeya trying. Nevertheless,  I run forward,  no matter how tired my legs are. Noticing droplets of red on the ground makes me think, did they hurt him that bad? And his eyepatch, it's fallen off too. But there's a hole where the covering is. I run even faster and see in the distance are boats.

Panicky, I run further as they take him to one of them, as some already sail away, but a pain shoots into my back at the feeling of an arrow striking me. I however don't fall and run forward,  cutting off a fatui head, but a big man punches me in the chest, knocking me back. "Childe, go put him somewhere. This won't take long." He brings out a clamor, making me look small by comparison.
