Ch.6: Eye issues
Childe's P.O.V.
Rushing in with Kaeya in my arms, I feel relief as I thought I wouldn't make it in time. I get him indoors and lay him on a bench on his side, where it shows his good eye. I'm about to go out and help but even unconscious, he wraps his arms slowly around himself... and I notice as he breathes, clouds of vapor emits from his mouth as if it's winter. In confusion as it's a hot summer day. And his body has white speckles. Touching the spots, they're cold to the touch. I grab him by the shoulders to shake him, but I see his other eye... no eyepatch on it... but that's not all...
It's covered by eyes. Not smoothe ice, but an icicle spike protruding from the socket. If he wasn't half blind then, he his now. Should I pull it out? No... What if it's attached to his brain...? "What should I-" "Go! Now!" Capitano says barging in with blood in his hands. "That red guy... I tried to capture him, but hecran off... Probably wasn't that loyal- Wh- What happened?!" He examines Kaeya's horrendous state.
"I don't know! He hasn't woken up in a while, and I don't get how this could've happened!" I gently slap Kaeya's face, not expecting it to work. "Probably can't pull it out. Should we melt it?" Capitano asks. "I... I don't know. Maybe?" I reply as more blood trickles from his eye. But suddenly, his eye flutters open, only a low groan escapes him. "Kaeya. How did this happen..?"
His eye has barely any light in it, as if dead... He mumbles a name, and then reaching at my face. "Dilu-" He coughs, blood escaping down his lip and to his chin. He tries to reach out again but faints.
