Jean's P.O.V.

"Head this way to the shelter!" I call to the crowd of survivors, and getting them to a safe haven. And along with me is is Aether, Paimon and Klee. "I feel like we should've waited for Diluc. What if he thinks we're missing?" Paimon tells us. "We can't worry about that now. He's probably busy enough knocking fatui heads together.  We just need to help whoever we can." Aether replies as Klee holds my hand scared.

"Venti and Zhongli are out taking care of those menaces, but there's still more people to find. I'll be helping them too. Please get them to the shelter. I run off while Klee tries to grab my hand, but my duties must come first.

A few fatui have been dealt with. They were strong, but my injuries are nothing to worry about- and a flash of fire in my vision, then seeing ashes waft in the wind. "OH, Diluc! It's just you. We have a crowd of people going to a shelter. Along with Paimon, Aether and Klee. They said you found them." "I.. I did. I didn't find anyone else. But killed myself a good number..." He looks a bit tired. That claymore isn't exactly the lightest weapon... 

"Surely you've seen Kaeya." "No.. I was thinking maybe you have." I put a hand to my mouth. "Everyone I asked haven't seen him either..." I think to myself on where else to go. "That damned ginger! knew there was something up with him!" "I even saw Dainsleif floating around. He's shady, but I saw him killing some fatui. I'll take what I can get... But you seem worn out. We should stick together for safety."

He nods, not even bothering to argue with me, a knight... things really are screwed. We both walk further and see some traces of ice. It can't be who I think it is... Another cryo user? We follow, getting closer to the gate... And we see Kaeya hanging over that Childe's shoulder, as some shiny liquid falls from him, making the traces. We both run fast, but five fatui ambush us.
