Diluc's P.O.V.

Blood... There's just... Rubble and blood! Not that it's anything new, but this shouldn't have happened! It was so sudden, as if a portal opened and released an army! "Diluc!" Ather runs to me while Paimon floats aside him... "Are you hurt? Have you seen the others?!" I shake my head but a question comes to mind. "Have you seen.. Kaeya?" As annoying as it is to admit, I'd pray so he doesn't die.

"No.. I haven't... Those fatui just came from nowhere. We should just save as many people as we can. Kaeya will do fine on his own." Aether tells me. "Suppose so-" A fatui archer appears from the corner, but I get in front of the blonde boy, blocking the arrow with my clamor. She tries to run, but I slice her in half, hearing an unholy scream.

"We should stick together for safety. You never know who'll show up." Paimon tells us to which we agree. I hate to admit it, but I'm worried about- And as we walk, I hear a child crying. "A little girl...?" I look for the source and around the corner is Klee. "Klee!" Aether yelps. And so we run to her. "Klee! You're not hurt are you?" She's covered in dirt.

"No... I'm not... Everyone's dying and I don't know what to do!" Her voice gets more higher pitched the more she spoke. "Klee, this is important.  Did you see any of our friends. The knights?" I ask holding her shoulder lightly. "I saw a lot of knights getting killed... But I didn't see anyone like Kaeya or Jean..." "Don't worry. We'll get you some place safe place." I turn my back to her while crouched. "Get on my back, now."

She does so, and we walk forward. We decide to knock on the door of a house. Nobody answers, so we try the door know and it.. opens? We enter and it seems pretty clean. Not looted. We go up stairs to see all the drawers empty and no family pictures. They're gone. "We can rest here... For now." I tell, thinking of what to do. Should I stay here to give Klee more protection? And Aether goes to find them? Or should I go? And he stays? If he's able to protect her...
