Your pov

I found myself staring at the head of the football team. Jason Grace, he has blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and he has a muscular body. One thing that I really like about him is that he is nice and smart. I stayed after school to read and maybe to watch them play.  I saw Jason make a touchdown and I smiled to myself, he turned around and saw me watching them he waved and I looked down because I felt my face heat up and I know that I'm far away but it still may be noticeable. I focus on my book and read for the rest of the time. Then I feel a presence next to me, but I ignore it. "What are you reading?" that voice is so nice to hear, and thats because it belongs to Jason. I look up and close my book. "I'm reading The Cellar by Natasha Preston." I say, since I'm talking about books I get excited and forget about my nervousness. "That's cool." he said smiling. He then started to scratch his neck. "Um... I need a tutor and I was hoping you could help me, you are in honors for a reason." He said. "Sure," I said "So where do we meet at and when?" He paused and furrowed his eyebrows. "Well we could start any day now, and I'm free after 3:50, we can meet at my house." He handed me a piece of paper with his address. I sighed, I just talked to my crush and got his address! This is so the best day of my life. My mom came and I stepped inside our Lexus lfa. "So how was your day?" she asked shifting in her seat. "It was okay, and today I won three times against Peter!" Peter is our second best player now that I beat him at chess. She leaned closer to me. "That boy was really cute." she whispered in my ear. "Mom!" I yell. "What?" I sigh, she can act so girly sometimes "I-I'm just his tutor for this week."

               -Next day-
You knock on the door and you are slightly shaking. You regret it deep down but you only get this chance once in a lifetime so why pass? "Hi!" a little boy who looked like a ten year-old version of Jason. "Is Jason here?" you ask politely. "Yeah, hold on," he turns around and you thought he was going to go inside but he stayed there "JASON SOMEONE'S HERE FOR YOU!!!" he yells. You hear soft footsteps approach the door. "Jake, mom is sleeping." Jason said irritation in his voice. You being the person you are said "Is this a good time? I wouldn't want to intervene." he smiled again "Nah its a good time just make sure you don't scream like someone I know." he said looking at Jake. Jason ushered you in, he led you past the kitchen and into his dining room. Someone was already in there but she was too busy taking a nap, she was very pretty with her short black hair and her style of clothes looked good on her. It made her look like someone who is brave and fearless but at the moment she also looked angelic.

            -your pov

    We started setting up our books and I put all the flashcards out. He better learn something because I stayed up last night preparing for this. "Okay." I said clapping my hands together. I grab the red stack, I made this into levels so that he could also learn the basics and there was only seven levels. "How do you say 'hello' in Spanish?" I said, since he's been going to this class I'm sure he could do these easy ones. "Hola." he said easily. I set the card down and grabbed another one. "Tree." he replied right after I said it. "Arbol." In no time we were finished with two levels.

        -Three days later-

   It took a while but we managed to get past two more, he had some trouble pronouncing them. "Last ones." I said as we were on the last card of the last stack. "Voy a ir al parque por cuarenta minutos y cuando regrese la casa tiene que estar limpia." I said. I changed the roles. I was speaking the Spanish while he said the english then he would say the Spanish so that I knew he could understand. Sure it took more time but it helped him remember it, and that's why I'm here. "I'm going to go to the park for, um..." he paused and I waited for a few ten seconds. I handed him the yellow stack which was minutes and numbers and time. He went through them and he found one. " Forty minutes and when I come back the house better be," he paused trying to remember the word. "Clean!" he said a bit too loud. "You still have one more thing." I say reminding him about his quiz. I asked his Spanish teacher if I could have a test from the previous years and she gave me one. I handed him the quiz and waited for him to finish. While he did that I packed up. In twenty minutes he was done. I grabbed a pen and graded his paper. "You got a 92." I said. "So you will definitely pass your test." I was about to leave when I felt something hold me back. "Thank you." he said. I was about to reply but he pulled me in a hug. I stood still for one second but then I hugged back. My heart was racing at a million times an hour. He pulled away. I walked out and over my shoulder I said "Good luck!" and walked home.

             -next day-

I didn't see Jason anywhere.

           -Next Day-

"Y/n!" I turned to see who called me, it was Jason. "I got a hundred!" he said "I knew you would pass." I said smiling at him. "Well since you me I was wondering if you could come with us." he said motioning to his teammates. I forgot that yesterday was their game. I didn't go because I was studying. "Sure." I said after telling my mom where I'd be, well actually she askes who. We all started getting in cars. I went with Jason, Percy and Frank. They were all nice, especially Frank. "So what are you getting?" Jason said still looking at his menu. "I'll get f/f (favorite food)"  I said. "I'll get blue crab legs." Percy said. "Salad for me." Frank said. "I'll get the same thing as Y/n." 

       -one hour later-

Jason just finished dropping of the guys and now we are headed to my house. Except the road was closed. He got out of the car and so did I. We finally reached my house. "Goodnight Jason." and then I closed the door.

  After that day we never talked.

Anna: Hey
You: Hi
Anna: Guess what
You: You got an A in chemistry
Anna: Yeah but its something else
You: ...go on
Anna: Well can you be a girl?
You: yes
Anna: Percy asked me out!!!
You: Aww you guys make an adorable couple
Anna: Thanks
Anna: So I heard you tutored Jason 😏
You: Nothing happened we just studied and celebrated
You: plus he's been ignoring me
Anna: I don't get why he doesn't like you, you're nice, unique and independent
You: You actually believe he would like a nerd like me. He clearly likes other girls that are prettier, after all he is the football star and I'm just another person to him. A person who can only dream of being with a guy like him
Anna: if he doesn't like you then its his loss
(Percy and Jason's conversation)

Percy: hey
Jason: Hi
Percy: I asked Annabeth out
Jason: did she reject you?
Percy: no
Jason: I thought she was smart but oh well
Percy: shut up, at least I can ask a girl out
Jason: what does that have to do with me?
Percy: trust me you know what I'm talking about
Jason: no I don't
Percy: I know you like her
Jason: WHO?!?
Percy: you obviously like Y/n
Jason: Percy I swear if you tell a god dam soul I will rip your throat
Percy: Aha! I knew you liked her
Jason: it doesn't matter
Percy: What do you mean?
Jason: She...she won't be interested in me, she is most likely interested in a guy who is like her. Smart.
Percy: ...oh
