SKYLER.

The forest doesn't feel alive anymore, the monsters weren't lurking around. The path under my feet fades as I follow Ice into the endless darkness; the black trunks were narrowing the pathway, the bluish charcoal sky was above me but the tall trees were covering it. But the menacing darkness and the unpleasant coldness were colliding.

I halted when I felt a crunch under my feet; the grass field of moisture turned into crystal field.

And as I look up I saw Ice looking in front. Her eyes were glistening as she leers; she was releasing chills, in this long dark evening she was making me feel the wasteland of white.

"Who are you?" Ice asked. In just a blink of an eye, a dagger suddenly soared towards our direction and directly to mine. I was about to dodge it when a thick wall of ice appeared in my front preventing the dagger to make contact with me.

I saw Ice twitching. She still has magic energy depletion. Hindi pa siya maayos and when the ice shield faded, she also lost her consciousness.

I bit my lower lip as I catch her. But my guard is still up when a silhouette appeared in my front, my eyes widened as I felt various emotion building inside me as I look up.

"If it isn't Skyler the Great?" He asked.

Everything around him feels so different. His brunette hair and his annoying smirk are still there but he gives off a different vibe than before. He's the lost sheep, after all.

"If it isn't Skyler the Great?" He mocked.

I squinted my eyes and noticed the odd thing about him. His golden eyes were now dull as black. He was releasing a sinister aura; death, and pain, and it was sickening.

"Night," I uttered.

He was the lost sheep and my best friend. Night Cooper, the former third seat among the Primus Section and my former seatmate.

Hindi ko alam ang nangyari sa kanya dahil bigla na lamang siyang nawala. Ilang beses kong tinanong ang sarili ko kung paano o bakit kailangan niyang umalis pa. Kahit minsan ay hindi ko pinaramdan na iba siya, hindi pinaramdam ng Primus Section na anak siya ng isang Titan.

"I heard the news that someone made it to the Primus Section, so I checked it." He grins. His dull eyes were locked to Ice. "But who would have thought that it would be her?"

"You know Ice?" I quizzically asked.

"Of course!" He beamed as he clasps his hands. "And I know you already knew that she is a piece of bad news-"

"She is not."

He chaotically laughed, "She will diminish the light soon."

I mockingly looked at him, "Trust me, she will not." I said. I grip tighter to Ice and said, "After all, I'm already immune."

His eyes beamed at me. He wasn't expecting me to say that to him.

"The lack of light that worried us so much at first is just a normal thing now. "

He languidly looked at me and shrugged, "Just a friendly reminder, that woman will scatter the Primus Section. You better watch your back." I was about to speak when snaps his fingers and slowly disappeared into thin air.

I gritted my teeth.

"SKY!"

"Tangina. Bakit ngayon lang kayo?" I asked.

"A dark barrier was preventing us to enter. And all of a sudden it faded." Light answered. I heaved a sigh. Ang lugar na kinatatayuan kanina ni Night ay tambak na ng Minotaur horns. I smirked. It was his request. Just to freakin' mock me, huh? "So, what happened, Sky?"

"He was here," I said. Their faces became serious.

"Did he attacked Ice?" Phoenix asked.

I shook my head, "No, Ice lost consciousness because of magic energy depletion."

"Go ahead. We'll bring this to the requester and will buy the Lavanderish cake." Aizelle said.

And once again, she's in a deep slumber. Mas sleeping beauty siya kaysa sa 'kin tapos ang lakas niyang mangasar. I was busy reading a book entitled Boy meets Girl when someone suddenly poked my shoulder. "Hey," she mumbled while rubbing her eyes.

"Why?" I asked.

"Well, I felt a menacing aura. It was familiar to me and I thought it was someone I know though I didn't saw the face of the suspect." She explained. I squinted my eyes, gusto kong malaman kung kilala nila ni Night ang isa't-isa pero pinipigilan ko ang sarili ko.

Who are you, Ice?

I was about to speak when we heard the door at the entrance screeches. When we went downstairs, we saw the unexplainable faces of our friends.

"Are they in some kind of gags?" Ice whispered.

They are all frowning when they took a seat on the couch. It was synchronized.

"What happened?" I asked.

They all frowned once again, "Master Garet made us dance!" Light said with a hint of humiliation.

"That's it?"

"Dude, palibhasa kasi wala ka!" Phoenix beamed. Tinapik ni Aizen ang kanyang balikat, "Dude, kayo lang naman ni Light ang pinaka nakakahiya kaya ayos lang sa 'kin."

"What did they do?" Ice yawned.

"Phoenix and Light did a poll danci-"

"Shut the fuck up, Aizen." Light leered.

"I'll sleep again. See yah." Ice said. She was yawning endlessly but I know that she's not sleepy at all.

We stayed silent after Ice left. We are enjoying the deafening silence when Aizelle looked at me said, "What is he planning now?"

"Who knows?" I uttered.

"Did you two talk?" Sue asked. To be honest, I can't tell them what Night what have said. They might investigate about Ice and if they investigate her thoroughly, they might know about her real eyes.

"He just greeted the new member of the Primus Section," I answered.

Light was looking at me suspiciously, his great mind is really threatening. "Is that all?" Light asked. I nodded. Hindi pa siya satisfy sa sagot ko but he just shrugged it off.

In the middle of the bluish charcoal night, a sly smile obtrudes in the Queen's face. She was staring at her warrior, Night. "Have you greeted her?"

"Yes," Night answered. The palace was filled with eerie vibes; the shades of grey were present, it was blocking the rays of light coming from the outside. The cold sensation of the night was touching their souls yet they find it blissful. The darkness was encouraging them to continue the beat they started; the hymn of death.

"How is she?" The Queen asked. Celine all of a sudden squinted her eyes while listening to them. Night shrugged, he tilted his head and looked at Celine and then he smirked, "The princess is fine."

Night slyly smiled at Celine before he left the room.

"What do you want, Celine?" the Queen asked.

"This is about the Everlasting Potion, Mom."

"What about it?"

"We discovered its location. It was in the Mortal World. But a barrier was protecting the potion that is why Ellen and others were having a hard time."

"Then ask Night to help them. You will do another mission."

"What mission?" Celine asked quizzically.

"You'll go to the Cerulean Kingdom."

"Why would I go there? I can't replace their beloved princess-" Celine gritted her teeth.

"You're her cousin. And she's enjoying her freedom. It is time to scatter the tenebrosity."

Celine let out a big sigh, "Masusunod, Lady Gaea."
