Hot as lava, Satan looked down on me with his smoldering narrowed eyes. All of a sudden, he appeared right in front of me with his hand shape like a spike and was ready to pierce through me. But I was able to grip tighter to my sword, making me deflect his attack.

Once again, he teleported at my back. I twisted my body to move his hand away, but his reflexes were much faster than mine.

“Begone, false king,” Satan mumbled. He kicked my back, making me fly towards Asmodeus.

It was not that deep, but the effect of his claws is making me feel drowsy. A static sound suddenly lurked inside my head until a loud boom awakens me from Belphegor’s spell.

“Hmm. Someone countered Belphegor’s curse,” Satan amusedly said. His eyes laid down towards Alexis’s and inspected her from head to toe, “You can copy the arcane magic of the Seraphim, but the question is, how long will you last?”

After that, a tremendous amount of magic was released around that even the rocks and trees began to float, joining the rise of magic inside her.

“Satan...” Asmodeus murmured. Satan’s eyes started to be fascinated by the view.

Alexis’s eyes lit up, and her pale brown eyes were slowly fading into silver ones. Her beautiful hair was slowly turning in to white, though its end remained with its usual salmon hue. Still, it was sparkling more than before.

“Secret Art: Mimeograph — Seraphim Incarnation,”

Projectiles began to cover the vicinity, making the darkness to be eradicated by its brilliance. Aside from that, wings made from projectiles began to sprout behind her back. And Athena’s crest appeared on her forehead.

My eyes caught how Satan’s fascinated eyes slowly darkened as he glances towards Alexis.

“Uh-uh, hindi pa kami nakakarecover sa laki nang nawalang magic sa pagpunta namin dito tapos ganito agad ang bubungad sa amin,” Mammon stated while looking to Alexis.

Alexis lifted her hands. The projectiles covering the vicinity glowed and transformed into light swords that showered in the four demons’ direction. She was really stealing my show, huh?

Binalot ni Asmodeus ang paligid nila ng makakapal na sinulid, paulit-ulit niyang hinahabi iyon upang gumawa ng isang malaking globo na nagsisilbing depensa nila. Hinigpitan ni Alexis ang yakap n’ya sa akin, at nararamdaman ko ang pagbabago ng temperatura sa katawan n’ya. Muli akong sinugod ni Satan, at sa tulong ng kapangyarihan ni Alexis ay may lumitaw na light sword sa kamay ko. Tinatagan ko ang hawak ko sa espada dahilan upang maging pantay ang laban namin.

But my problem is, Alexis’s eyes is beginning to be a burden to her, and the light swords that were trapping the other demons are slowly fading.

The clenching of our swords echoed. Satan was smirking as he looked at me and that the other light swords were already gone and the only light sword left was mine. Belphegor was standing in front of Alyssa and Jackson, who were down on their knees, dozes off. While Asmodeus while looking intently at Alexis’s wound.

“Mammon is really the weakest among us. But now I need to replenish my power,” Asmodeus said. She slowly walks towards Satan and stole his sword.

I frustratingly bit my lower lip when she licked Alexis’s blood in the sword. Nang saglit na gumalaw si Alexis, kagat labi s’yang tumunghay sa akin saka bumulong, “Shit... This funny feeling... Please stop this,” she whispered.

She breathes hotter than earlier, and her hug was much tighter, “Asmodeus cast a spell on me... And now, I can really feel her symbol. Mas lalo lang s’yang lumalakas dahil sa akin. Make it stop.”

Asmodeus’s laugh echoed. I heaved a sigh and remembered something. Sophia’s child will be the only one who can defeat her, but she will not be able to retrieve her powers if we cannot feel her symbol.

And what I will be doing will be a gamble. Mas lalong humihigpit ang kapit sa akin ni Alexis, alam kong gusto n’yang bitawan ko siya ngunit malabo kong gawin iyon.

And what I will be doing will be my confirmation.

Alexis’s lifted her head, and with her pleading eyes— she was gesturing me to let her go. But instead, I offered her my warmest smile. I slowly pulled her face towards mine. As soon our lips met, the unspoken words inside my head began to stream down. And the passion ignited as I faced the reality of the tingling feeling I’ve been hiding in my chest for a while.

And when we parted, Alexis’s widened as she looked at me. Her cheeks were burning as her fingers are lightly touching her lips, “You... You just gave her the power— the lust she wanted!” She exclaimed.

I smirked at her, “Lust? Do you think it was lust, then tell me, child of Athena— why is Asmodeus down her knees right now?” I asked. She quizzically looked to Asmodeus and right back at me.

“Then what was that?”

“You have wisdom within you. Find the answer by yourself,” I whispered. Nang dahan-dahan niyang pinikit ang mga mata niya ay sinandal ko siya sa isang bato sa muling hinarap si Satan.

“No one is watching... So, I can freely use my ace,”

“Do you think I should be scared of a mere king vessel who doesn’t have a servituor?”

“You should be,” I bluntly said. I held the light sword and made it my own by filling it with the flames of tranquility.

And because Alexis’s blessing vanished, the darkness was back again, “Forbidden Spell: Tranquil Inferno,” I mumbled as I released a humongous amount of magical power.

The flame of tranquility slowly envelops the vicinity, which made Satan slowly gritted his teeth. And before he could actually escape my wrath, I immediately went to him and slit through his chest.

Saglit s’yang tumingin sa akin nang masama bago makipagtagisan ng galing sa pakikipagespada. Mas humina ang galaw n’ya kumpara kanina, at mas bumagal din ito.

I faint an attack to confuse him. Sinipa ko ang binti n’ya dahilan upang matumba siya at bago pa man siya matayo ay tinutok ko na sa kanya ang espada. The flame stretches down to his throat, making his back kiss the ground.

“I told you— You should be scared of...”

My head suddenly feels ill. Dahan-dahan na lumalabo at umiikot ang paligid ko, ramdam ko rin ang paglambot ng mga tuhod ko, at maging pagtumba ko sa kalupaan.

“Uh-uh, buti na lang at hindi ako nakisali kanina. You’re right, even though you still don’t have a servituor— you can defeat us, but to be honest, we are just tired from our trip,” I heard Mammon laugh.

“Where is Marina?” Satan asked.

“With me,” Belphegor languidly said.

“I must say, you actually surpass me. If Mammon didn’t steal your magical energy, they might be needing a new king because you can actually kill me, Son of Hephaestus,”
