Best. Day. Of. School. EVER!

Percy's PoV

I actually made it to English on time...weird. When I walked in I noticed something weird, there were two blondes in the front row that I was sure weren't usually in this class. One was a guy, probably a little taller than me, wearing a purple hoodie. The other was a girl with golden curls, wearing a grey t-shirt.

I walked over to see why they were in here, when the girl turned around, and I knew who she was.

Annabeth.

I swear I jumped five desks to get to her. There were quite a few protests from the students I climbed over, but I didn't care. The seat next to her was, luckily, empty.

I sat all my things down on the desk then pulled her up into a hug. "WISE GIRL! You're here!"

She laughed in that wonderful of hers, like ringing bells, "I know Seaweed Brain, you don't have to yell." She pulled away and looked at me, "Did you notice anyone else?"

I was confused until I remembered the blonde dude. When I turned my attention to him I saw Jason.

Still holding Annabeth's hand, I pulled Jason into a man hug, "Long time no see, man."

Jason laughed, "Percy it's only been about a week."

"That's too long," I said as Jason sat back down, as well as Annabeth. "So what are you two doing here? I thought you were on repair duty."

"We are, but we can do that from here," Annabeth pushed me off her desk, where I had been sitting.

"Oh," the teacher walked in, so I sat in my desk, "that's awesome."

The teacher's name is Mr. Paul Blofis, but I call him Mr. Blowfish, at school. At home his name is Paul. Oh, he's my step-dad.

Paul probably knew about Jason and Annabeth coming, but decided to play the whole 'I've-never-seen-or-heard-of-these-two-kids-in-my-life-card.

He looked at me with a shocked expression, "Mr. Jackson? Sitting at the front of a class?"

Lots if kids snickered, but others seemed truly shocked. I NEVER sit in the front row, that would mean I'll actually listen to the teacher, so I simply smiled as a response.

Paul chuckled and started calling roll, "Wilson Andrew?"

"Here."

"Gregory Baloat?"

"Sup?"

A few more names passed until, "Annabeth Chase?"

"Present," she smiled at Paul, and he smiled back.

More names

"Jason Grace?"

"Here."

More random names I don't care to mention.

"Percy Jackson?"

"Absent," Paul smiled a little at my response, then continued.

After more names he finished, "Incase you didn't notice we have two new students; Jason Grace and Annabeth Chase. I expect you'll all be goode to them. Okay, we'll be reading The Magician's Nephew over the course of the next few weeks, starting tomorrow. Feel free to talk amongst yourselves for the rest of class."

I turned to talk to Annabeth, but somebody was coming over. A girl I was sure would hate Annabeth, and Annabeth would hate her.
