Chapter 11
***EDITED***
Hazel's POV
I can't believe that they would just let them get captured like that. Once i realized that they were missing, all of the demigods got up at the same time and ran up to our dormitory. I think that we left some of the wizards were a little suspicious. Oh well, too late for that now!
When we finally got into Sila's room, it was a mess. All of the stuffing was pulled out of her bed, there was blood everywhere, and some weapons were missing from the wall. A glint of silver caught my eye, and I picked it up to find a note concealed inside of a small jar. I pulled it out and read it.
Demigods,
If you ever want to see your friends again, I suggest that you stay put and don't say anything. If word gets out that you have spilled something, more harm than that which has already been afflicted will come to your friends.
XOXO,
Orion
I gasped, and frantically showed the note to the others.
"SCHIST!" Nico shouted. "THAT DUDE SUCKS!"
"He can't be that bad..." Frank commented.
Nico glared at him, which shut him up.
"Well, what do we do?" I asked Annabeth.
She looked upset with the answer that she gave me, but nevertheless said, "We wait. We have to trust that Thalia and Sila can escape on their own. They're hunters; Thalia once told me that she knew 108 different ways to escape."
We all laughed meekly, and then headed back to the common room.
"Wanna check out the training room?" I asked the others.
"Sure," Percy said halfheartedly, obviously distraught at the fact that we had managed to lose not one, but two people.
I lead the way up the stairs, and entered the large room. It was equipped with a sword fighting arena, an archery range, a climbing wall, and accumulated to the demigods needs.
"Whoa," Leo said as he spotted a huge forge in the corner of the room, and rushed over to it. Percy went to the giant pool, Annabeth followed him there and sat on the edge of the pool, and I headed over to the archery range with Frank. Nico and Reyna walked over to the climbing wall, and Calypso sat down at a large loom.
Archery wasn't really my thing, but I enjoyed watching Frank have fun.
Annabeth was nervously biting her lip the whole time, and after about 5 minutes, she said,
"Guys, I think we should do our homework n-" she was cut off by Percy sneaking up to the side of the pool and then pulling her under the water. The look on her face was priceless. We all started laughing, until a giant wave from the pool sucked us all under.
Now let me tell you something, water + children of Hades = chaos.
As soon as Nico and I had surfaced, we immediately began yelling at Percy, who had swum to the other side of the pool.
"PERSEUS JACKSON," I screamed. "IF YOU EVER DO THAT AGAIN, I SWEAR I'LL-" I was cut off by Percy throwing a dagger at me. I dodged it, barely, and blinked twice, confused. Percy would never play like that.
"...Percy?" Nico asked slowly. Percy looked up at us, but his eyes were... silver?
He opened his mouth to talk, but the voice that came out wasn't his.
"Demigods,"
"Orion," Nico snarled, skeletons erupting behind him, though they quickly faded back into the ground and Nico collapsed. Reyna ran to his side, and silently took his pulse.
I breathed a sigh of relief as Reyna nodded, confirming that it was normal, nodding to the us to let us know that he was okay.
Percy/Orion laughed. "I see that the son of Hades has not yet recovered from his journey. Anyways, I'm here to deliver a message."
Mist rose up from the pool, creating an image. There was a sharp intake of breath all over the room. The image showed Sila unconscious and bleeding, and Thalia was barley conscious with a large bruise forming on her head.
"Don't.... tell him..... anything..." Thalia said through her gritted teeth.
Percy/Orion laughed again. A woman with long, dark, curly hair walked into the picture and held a knife to Thalia's temple.
"Tell us what we want to know. Now." the woman demanded.
Annabeth laughed nervously, and glanced at me, asking me a silent question.
Can control the metal and move the knife away from her?
I nodded, and approached the image. I concentrated, and the lady in the image gasped and dropped the knife.
"STOP!" Percy/Orion shouted. He made a move to hit me, but then stopped. He moved again, and stopped.
"I... I won't!" Percy's voice growled.
"I WON"T!" He yelled, and then collapsed onto the floor, shaking.
"Percy!" Annabeth yelled, and ran to his side.
He gasped and sat up, and then grinned.
"New record! Yes!" He exclaimed. Frank and Nico sighed, mumbling things like,
"Yeah, yeah," and "Whatever,"
I cleared my throat.
"Well," Percy said. "I've been possessed the most now!" He said happily. Then he turned to Nico and Frank. "You guys owe me 30 drachma,"
Nico began to grin, but Percy cut him off.
"Real drachma, Nico."
"Whatever,"
We all went back to the Common Room, and began attempting to do our homework; all of us were worried about Thalia and Sila.
Suddenly, a sharp knock sounded through the door.
Harry's POV
I seriously needed to talk to Ron and Hermione. This was getting out of hand. Them insisting that we use the cloak to try to eavesdrop on them was the final straw. After the new exchange students came that night, we headed back up to the Gryffindor Common Room, and I pulled them aside.
"Hey guys," I began, rehearsing what I was going to say in my mind. "You guys need to chill. I've been getting attention for a long while, so I guess that I'm used to it- and I'm not blaming you for anything, but you're being really rude to the new exchange students."
"Well, they're obviously hiding something!" Hermione huffed.
"Yeah, but its their business!" I retorted.
"That hasn't seemed to bother you in the past," Ron mumbled sheepishly,"
"In the past," I paused, taking a calming breath. "In the past, the matters actually had something that had to do with one of us. This does NOT concern us, so we should STAY OUT OF IT."
We all sat in silence for a minute, but then Hermione said,
"I'm sorry, Harry. You were right. I guess I should take Sil-" She stopped abruptly.
"What?" asked Ron. "What is it?"
"Did you guys notice that Sila never showed up after Care of Magical Creatures? And for that matter, Thalia never came back after she went to go find Sila!"
We all glanced at each other, made a silent agreement, and then walked over to the exchange student's door.
Hermione took a deep breath, and then knocked sharply on the door.
